Woaaah. I didn't know this about the nasal passages. i started drinking iodine in water 11 days ago and noticed I could breathe way better out of my nose within a few days. There was a night where I was coughing up mucous all night and I thought i was getting sick. But no problems after that night. That's so wild!

I put a few drops of iodine in the water when I use my Navage nasal irrigation. Would also work with a netti pot..

Wearing glasses causes full time nasal congestion - no one ever talks about that.
You only need to slightly pinch your nose at the top to feel blockage immediately.
So imagine 30 years or more of spec wearing

Humm that's quite interesting I have worn glasses since 5th grade started having congestion issues with bronchitis in about 12th grade I guess but I thought it was because we moved to West Texas many people have issues in West Texas. I never really connected glasses and all my issues with my respiratory system. Next time I get a thermography scan done well see if those congested sinuses are better since I haven't been wearing my glasses since about I don't even know know I been trying to strengthen my eyes naturally back to see if I can improve my eyesight since being on carnivore and keto WOE since about last July I guess low carb then keto since around last October to December and Carnivore since about End of Dec/ beginning of January.

Brownstein also talked about putting one drop of Lugols iodine in a nebulizer, with I believe he said 5 cc {ml} of water.

@@shelleydavis5231 I also make my own xylitol nasal rinse with lugols. For a 2 oz. dropper bottle, add 1/4 tsp xylitol, pinch of salt, 1 drop of lugols. I sniff up drops of that to clear my sinuses, usually in the AM. I find using the drops more convenient than having to do the nebulizer, but I do use that if I am in a severe state.

OK, I’m going to try inhaling the iodine! I already take lugol’s drops. What I’m hoping is my nasal mucous membranes will get stronger and my nose won’t get so runny when I’m outside nose breathing in cold weather 🤔
Nothing else seems to help with that!

I used lugals iodine, My throat was sore after gargling, I read that potassium can irritate. I'm going to try iodine without potassium. For now I put on skin, I hope that works.

    Yes.
Also NAC will help tremendously with chest conjestion and breathing issues.

Greetings, I saw your endorsement of NAC on another post recently, I wondered what you were doing regarding the impending shortage of NAC in most stores?

1 cup Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Iodine, 1 teaspoon honey. Start with a teaspoon of ACV, build up to a tablespoon, or to your taste.Omit honey if you want. It's still palatable. Read D.C. Jarvis book ' Folk Medicine '.

I put 1 drop (2% cause that’s what I could get) and 1 T lemon juice in each cup of water. Can’t even taste the iodine that way

I’ve put between two and four drops Lugol’s iodine on one arm and rub it in with the other arm and how fast it absorbs tells me whether I am deficient or not! I’m not a scientist so I am guessing if it is gone in 30 minutes. I assume I am deficient, but at least I do not have to swallow it.

Yes you are right our skin is our largest organ and absorbs absolutely everything we put on it so we must be careful what our skin eats and drinks all over including our scalp even more so because of larger pores!
