As soon as I saw them dumping loads in piles I said "they need a gravel company that knows how to drive and drop gravel". Looks like they figured out how to drop crush and run on the move for the last load ! Event looks like a blast!
I can't wait to go to wasteland building my apoco van both wasteland style but also a functional mobile home lol (apocalyptic on the I side too don't want to kill the mood when I go to Bed with my canvas blanket lol)
Looks fun, but my transport is a two wheeled recumbent bike, pulling a trailer. I am however, a licensed Ham Radio operator. So yeah, I want to come. Maybe 2021, but more likely 2022. Stay frosty.
Use a telephone pole behind a side by side to pull through the sand to bury the electrical lines with a layer of gravel on top. Save the back brothers....
I would love to come to America and help you with this. But as an English ginger northerner, I would scorch and die within 34 minutes of arriving at a desert. I Googled "Mojave temperatures" and got sunburned...but where I live, we are almost amphibians at this point 😂 Frog people o'th North
"Frog people of the North" would make a great tribe name. We have a few gingers at WW. Lots of sunscreen, full coverage clothing, and hide in the day, party at night.
Does anyone own the land that wasteland events are held on if not maybe some proceeds can go towards purchasing the land and having wasteland a few times a year or at least establishing permanent structures
It's relatively cheap for an event like this. A lot of costs like insurance, fuel, generators, and professional security/medical teams add up for sure!
@@TheApocalypsePost awesome. i live right at the top of hwy 18 in big bear, i got tech that can smooth out the road and have supplies like a geny and good welder to help with what ever i can, team of 4. ex mil Shane hammer here . i been locked up in my shop for over 4 months due to the weather up here, we just want to "do things" even build custom stuff for vehicles .
Dude! Go convince your parents to help you get a Learner's Permit, so that you can drive with an adult in the passenger seat. Study that driving manual as often as you can so that you can pass the test to get your license. And remember, you can always buy an old riding mower to modify into a little wasteland vehicle. Put a trailer hitch on it and pull a small yard work trailer behind as your parts scrounger.
Yeah that's what I was thinking from the beginning of it like who the hell doesn't know how to drive the truck while you're dumping! Apparently they don't build a lot of gravel roads out there or something.
What looks bad? The work? It was a tough year on a new property, and the crew worked thier asses off that year, but ask any of them and they'll tell you it was the best week of thier lives.....and it helped make all the years that followed so much easier :)
I think y'all should make a plaque with the names of the work crews that build that year and place it at the entrance of the Wasteland so that people will recognize them and thank them. Just a thought.
Man, does anyone ever comment on the quality of your productions?? Like, these are so well put together that the level of quality is outstanding!!
Thanks man!
"To build a better apocalypse"

Awesome!

Yep,a dump truck driver that can't spread ain't no dump truck driver.
I felt so bad watching that unfold, like those good old boys don’t know how to tailgate a load out west? Guess they figured that out by the end hahah.
2021 was my first, WHAT A LOVELY DAY. OK, 5 days.
Thanks everyone for all their work, but especially the road crew that year!
This is so awesome to see the place come together -- and I'm gonna see it for the first time this year! I'm so ready for this.
Oh, you're going to love it
Three years later: Yep. Loved it.
Hey ! Haha ! I am big love wasteland !
Fantastic. Wish I was there. Greetings from Australia
I love all the Fallout stuff

I can't wait to go to wasteland building my apoco van both wasteland style but also a functional mobile home lol (apocalyptic on the I side too don't want to kill the mood when I go to Bed with my canvas blanket lol)
Heck yeah, share pics when you're done!

If the trend follows, ya'll be naked by the time the gates open this year.
Fantastic! Thank you!!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!

This is my Graceland. I would love to get to this event, but I’d probably never want to leave

"Shaping ourselves today for a happier apocalypse tomorrow" -ZNA Productions.
I wonder if Eli has ever been there.
Man i cant wait till im older to help out with this and enjoy the event
So ready to set up! 🙌
So much packing to do first! AHHHHGGG
I've seen every single movie.

We always have a few 2 wheeler wastelanders come. Watch out for the graboids (sand traps) and you'll be fine
Awe I want to build Hot Truss in the Desert!
I get it sanctuary hills. Clever.
Heck yeah! there's quite a few Fallout references here.
@@TheApocalypsePost Nice!
How am I just now finding out about this!!!!1!
You've got some catching up to do!
AWESOME!
Thanks!

I can’t believe they took so long to run the gravel out of the truck.
Darn road rash is everywhere
You don’t have to build an apocalypse it will happen on it’s own, Soon!
But we're making it better!
I want to go so bad but I'm still 14. On the bright side, when I AM old enough to go, it'll be way huger.
i'm curious....5 years later you are old enough to go. So have you been yet??
A wasteland event in the Mojave? I better bring my big iron

i cant believe im just finding out about this now 8)
I want in. Forget that “art event” in Nevada
When I’m in my 20s I’m going to go no doubt
Start now. Offer help and learn, employers love that stuff too so it's a good investment for the future too
Hello. This is great. How do I come to Westland

Anyone think of getting baggage trailers they use at airports or the air freight bins( metal) and using them for storage or sleeping areas?
That's a cool idea.... where would one get those?
20 truck loads moved by hand ohhhhhhhhh shi!!!!!
Does anyone own the land that wasteland events are held on if not maybe some proceeds can go towards purchasing the land and having wasteland a few times a year or at least establishing permanent structures
It's now owned by the event. (two years now). currently no plans for permanent structures. But that may change someday.
I imagine storage for the structures can be pretty expensive. I begin to see why the event costs what it does.
It's relatively cheap for an event like this. A lot of costs like insurance, fuel, generators, and professional security/medical teams add up for sure!
How do I join the Wasteland build crew?
Volunteer positions will open up a few months before the event. Keep an eye at wastelandweekend.com and wastelander central on Facebook
@@TheApocalypsePost thank you so much.
What is it like at wasteland weekend?
It's a ton of fun.
I want to be apart of your crew. im a welder, and engineer. i live right here also . might be able to make things easier.
Volunteer submissions will be up soon. Keep an eye on Wastelanders central on FB, and wastelandweekend.com

You couldn’t destroy the desert somewhere else, like YOUR backyard.
Funny you say that. It is our backyard. Also, Wastelanders spend weeks after the event making sure every bit of trash is picked up.
yeah, but ya don't pick up the scared earth. The desert will never be the same, even if you never go there again. the desert is not a playground.
This some nerd shi
