- Wasteland Weekend 2023 was a shake up year for the build crew. With an entire post-apocalyptic city needing to get built, and a new generation of staff and crew leaders, the build crew set out to once again build a better apocalypse in Wasteland Valley with new chief of operations, J.R. "The Overseer" at the helm. Find out all the work and passion that goes into making the world's largest post-apocalypse festival rise from the ashes and dust of the Mojave Desert.

I used to put on Mud Bog events in Central New Mexico. It is staggering how much work and brains it takes to put on an event with no infastructure or utilities.👍

Awesome work and thank you for putting this together. Love you man.
BEAUTIFUL WORK DUDE! This was a magical year at Wasteland, I'm so glad you captured an event at it's finest! More dirt to come... and Neotropolis on the horizon =)
The people who build burning man definitely don't have as much fun 👍
Nailed it!!!
Loved it
well done!
Great work mike
This is fantastic!! And thank you for the edit so I don't send as awkward as I am 😂
Absolutely fantastic work as always!
Thx so much!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I hear that Capt. Ron had passed away?
when is this happening?
Next Sept. Wastelandweekend.con
It seems like a huge amount of cost to set up and tear down, especially such a large event. Why not just make it 10 times smaller and host it over 10 weeks. Won't that make it so much more cost effective?
but then not everyone could be there at the same time. I want to see everyones ugly faces all together :)
@@TheApocalypsePost I wish I could go out there. I’m working on a car build. But the event is so far away from where I live it’s very unrealistic. Specially, considering all the state laws my state does not require a front license plate and does not issue one. In fact, they will only sale you one. I hate to make a cross-country trip and end up getting more tickets than I can afford.
Oh, you'd be fine. If that's the way your state does it, then you don't have to follow California license plate loss.
