Filipe Toledo is obviously afraid of waves of consequence, now on top of everything else his countrymen have to pick somebody to represent them in the Olympics. No way this guy should even be called the world champion and don't worry about the yellow Jersey that will go away after this contest. It's pathetic, and the WSL just caters to him like the NFL caters to Patrick Mahomoes. Food poisoning is such a cop out, now we will just have to watch and see if he ever becomes a man enough to admit he's afraid
seriously the waves after the 8.50 that were underscored or close were way better. Deeper barrels cleaner makes. Gotta give a little room for figuring it out the first day but still that was ridiculously overscored. Maybe a 7.8 8 tops compared to rest of waves.
It could have been a high score if actually stayed in the barrel, that thing kept barreling for another 3 or 4 second's, should of had points taken off him for blowing it.

Using priority to drop in on someone at pipe sounds ridiculously stupid dangerous... Also judges need to refine their criteria for barrel riding. So much technical skill and crazy barrels getting underscored because it was only a 10ft wave instead of 11....

It looks spectacular in midget form but that's all you'd see if you saw a motorbike going past at the same speed, on it and everything slows down you're riding that fast but it just takes the simplest of things in the way and you'd days are numbered, watch the TT, that's impressive 👍

Already started with the Colapinto over scoring. 8.5 for a wave he was not even inside the tube. Disgusting. I am sure everyone on the tour hates him for the undeserved promotion he gets

Well if this filmmaker has not agreed to wsl power move,then shame on wsl.another woke power move by wsl.pretty much contests have been rigged since the 60s,by favortism,corporate interest,ect ect. Maybe the independent filmmers,and photographers,need to set up a federation to protect their interest against wsl and unethical corporate interests personally I believe the format for the hui pipe contest,and expression sessions of da ol days are the best format.alohanui!
