Australians grew up different to all other Western countries, we're truly multicultural here meaning there isn't enough of any one race of people locally for us to segregate by race. So all of us grew up with friends who were White, Black, Abo's, Chinese, Filipino, Thai, Maoris, kangaroo boys (White Aussies like myself), Wogs, Brits, Indians. Pretty much a mix of everything.
This context is important because it meant that our friends/acquaintance groups were filled with all of the above. Meaning racism doesn't exist here, which led all of us to say the most unbelievably "racist" and "Nasty" comments possible because it was funny to us to do so. Because being "racist" is a form of endearment in Australia, it shows to our friends that we trust them soo much that we will say the most offensive / racist shit possible and they will know for a fact that we don't mean a word of it, we're saying nasty words to take the sting out of those nasty words. When done around friends it's the opposite of offensive it's instead hilarious to us.

Superwog is a direct challenge of "wokeism". It probably represents what many Australian's think but dare not say !

Aussies are a combination of both - but it is funny! It really is showing that as Italians (calling themselves wogs) that we should be able to laugh at things. It's like the Irish who make up all the Irish jokes first. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves and each other. Aussies laugh at ourselves a lot - you just take us how we are 😂❤

Australian humour can be extremely base. Superwogs are Lebanese Australian with their own brand of humour. Not to be confused with Greek humour or bogan humour. I like the way they lampoon everyone, it's actually very unifying.

Chinese folks dominate the property market in Sydney; they out-bid everyone. If you want another funny video, check out Superwog Border Security.

Wog is an offensive name given to immigrants predominantly from Southern Europe and maybe Eastern Europe or the Middle East who came to Australia after the White Australia policy was revoked in the 1950s. Prior to that, only people with Northern European ancestry were allowed into the country. Since then these people have gradually found acceptance in the country and their kids have grown up and integrated, but a lot of them will actually still use the term to describe themselves and anyone else from this group of people, often in jest. It could still be offensive though if used by an Aussie who has been here for generations. Some of them joke a lot about older members of their family who still behave a bit differently, not having grown up in Australia. Because of previously being on the receiving end of a lot of casual racism, it probably gives them a bit more licence to do a lot of observational humour about newer migrants from places around Asia etc. Its a bit like Russel Peters making fun of Indians and all sorts of other races. Aussies like comedy and to laugh about plenty of things, so I'd say our style of humour is quite broad. A lot of it is about joking about our laid back attitude to life and how some subsets of our community behave. A lot of people here are kind of proud of silly or crazy behaviour (often under the influence of alcohol) that exemplifies how a lot of us approach life. The stereotype about property buyers from mainland China having fat wallets is pretty accurate.
