Edit is alright, I've seen far worse. Genuine reaction is the thing that matters, glad you enjoyed this story. Jim is a fairly edgy comedian and got some wild stories to tell, his "Gun Control" routine is very funny to me, maybe you could try it at some point. In a simirlarly edgy/drunk style, you might also like Burt Kreischer and his story about a trip to Russia, it's called "The Machine" Bill Burr, Andrew Schultz, Gabriel Iglesias, Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, George Carlin, Patrice O'neal or Richard Pryor might interest you as well, all are great 'murican comedians imho and only the last 3 are no longer alive. Stand-up comedy comes in many styles, and I only named a few popular in the US, tons of other great comedians from all over the world have great set in english. I don't speak much other languages than french and english so I clearly don't know most comedians out there, I'm sure they are many great one I never heard of in other languages as well... Keep checking suggestions from viewers, I'm sure the people will suggest more good stuff, eventually! Have fun with the comedy rabbit-hole, it goes deep if you enjoy reacting to that kind of stuff. I really like seeing people try new music, comedy or movie genre from the past or other countries. Makes em appreciate and differentiate greatness from some of the trash that gets into popular medias every now and then. I find this pretty entertaining and sometimes I discover some new stuff about artists I never heard off. Keep it up and upload regularly, you'll get more views and subscribers eventually. Good luck!
@@EffUpAgain agreed, a genuine reaction is all that most people want. Editing skills etc will come with time and practice. I watched this with pizza crumbs on my t shirt. nobody cares about that sh!t if they are having fun. Great reaction
Jim's sense of humor resonates with me quite well. I now consider him as one of my favorites. I will certainly check out more of his sets on this channel.
Jim's specialty is these long-form narrative bits. That's why his podcast is so good, even though he's sober now. His bit on gun control is really good, if you plan on checking out his other stuff.
I did Gun Control just yesterday, but it was taken down due to copyright claims from Netflix. I'm not sure when or even If I can succesfully dispute that claim 😐 As for Jim's narration style, I must say I like pretty much everything - his talking way, hid intonation, his delivery. I think for now he is one of my favorite comedians. Haven't seen his later bits though, so can't imagine if him quitting alcohol would change my mind.
@@oldb0y79 Okay, so you're way ahead of me then. I might be able to help, since I've done editing for reactors doing stuff from Netflix. What usually works is make the original video at 20% opacity, overlay it with text, and make sure there's some kind of video stoppage after no longer than 30 seconds. Since you already have it recorded, perhaps just put a black screen with an explanation in text at any point where the video runs longer than 30 seconds. Just say in the text "stopped due to copyright," or something. This almost always works, and if it doesn't, YT will likely side with you if you dispute.
Here in Australia, because it's a legal business, if anyone isn't getting the full respect of a citizen that is rightfully deserved, the one being disrespectful is in trouble, and in adulterated work, trouble means BIG trouble.
In Finland mothers went with the tried and true method of "there is starvation in Africa", which I guess means if you eat all the food, bellies in Africa will be full too.
my mom just said there is kids in this world that are starving to death we don't waste food it didn't really have the results she wanted because then I was sad that there is kids that wouldn't have any dinner and I would want to go give them my food
That's very generous of you! However just sharing food is a too simple of a solution. I can suggest you to try being not sad, but try to focus on your own success first to turn it into your strength in future. Get good education, learn how life works, make yourself and people around you happy, then you would certainly be able to help those who are srarving and are in need by sharing what you have.
@@oldb0y79 this was when I was from the ages of 5-12 there was nothing I could do to help others we was struggling ourselves but the mention of others suffering always bothered me when I was young since being an adult if there is someone in need and I have a way to help I do help them
Apologies komяades for my a bit messy shirt and some small editing flaws🙄

@@EffUpAgainThanks! I was just thinking on reacting to Gun Control later this week 😁

Good reaction to what is arguably Jim's best. His 'Freedumb', 'Airplane Etiquette' and 'Gun Control' (2 Parts) are also quite good.

Gun control part 1 and 2, freedumb and aeroplane ones are hiliourious
@@kristycameron9113 I was just thinking of Gun Control. Planning to do a reaction this week. Maybe on Friday or on weekend
You say that comedy is not usually your thing, but your opening to this video was hilarious.
Huh, good point. Thank you🙃
Jim's a fucking champion.
One of my favorites now😁
I enjoyed your reaction to this comedian! Thank you!
Thank you!
I used to get told "If you don't eat you don't shit and if you don't shit you die so you best feed the machine"
So it seems like I was dramatizing all this time. Turns out my granny was a sweet old lady 🙃

@@TheNeonParadox wow, that's some valuable information you just threw at me. I appreciate it. Let me see what I can do with that. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I know Australians won't dance around, if you're in trouble you're in trouble 🙃
Love this Jim set
Cool to see a Russian perspective 🤙
Keep it up 🇦🇺🍻
Thanks! I really liked this set too. Certainly will keep up with more! Cheers😁
What a fucking legendary introduction 😂
🙃🙃🙃
In Finland mothers went with the tried and true method of "there is starvation in Africa", which I guess means if you eat all the food, bellies in Africa will be full too.
Same in Oz.
I always took it as "Be grateful to have food, even if you don't like it, it's better than starving."
In Australia was "there are people starving in africa. There are people less fortunate than you, be grateful"
That accent is something else
Hahahha its funny but touching ❤❤❤ thank you 😊
As always, thank you for your support 😊
👍
Jim Jeffries has other good stories. The first one that l saw, was Gun Control Parts 1&2; he also does one on religion.
Go back a few seconds after a pause, you won't lose the context of jokes you just cut off.
Got it. It's a new format for me, so I'm still learning. Thanks for the advice!
It just takes one (partially true) story to make a standup career. Or really good writers

He's got so much more good material, you should check it out, you won't be disappointed lol
I'm planning to check out his Gun Control both parts 😉
Intro bit ruff. But enjoy 🤙🇦🇺 PS enjoy yourself

Hehe no worries, everything under control 😉
React to Bert Kreisher :The Machine
That's a great idea!

Unfortunately, Jim Jefferies stopped drinking and he doesn't seem as funny now.
