    It's kind of fun to see you guys review on others portfolio. Not only does it shows what are the different point of view from a -3rd- fifth person standing, you guys also gave opinions on what are needed to be looked out for and it gave a better overview on things that might missed out by personal investors.

    S$300K in mid-30s isn't bad at all. Plenty of potential in the future with a bit of improvement in how it's managed.

    Abit hard to imagine, tbh delivery riders take home on average +/- $3k per month give & take. To progressive invest $1.5K per month to $350K portfolio will take him 19 years. Since he is in his mid 30s, he started being a delivery rider since mid teens? The numbers just does not add up. Moreover deliveroo entered SIngapore in 2015, that was 9 years ago. IF his profolio is legit, i would lean towards guessing he made good money during his 20s and saved up. Switched to deliver rider in his early 30s. Which is commendable in his regards, good job!

    I am guessing this guy must be working as some white-collar job during his 20s to close mid 30s with a relatively good salary, which helps him to save up such an amount of portfolio. In his mid 30s probably, he might get retrenched, or he just decide to YOLO and leave his job to work as delivery rider.
    If he were to work as delivery rider as his first job till mid 30s, i doubt he can and it's impossible to save up till that amount of 300k even if he works 24/7, 24hours per day.

      More often than not the middle class people wouldnt be able to save that much. He could be doing sales, properties, insurance, investment, banker whatsoever then decided to take a break from stressful workplace in his Mid 30s. Vid's like this is to review portfolio only they dont reveal "How did they get there" so take it with stride lolol

    I was about to sign up for the Alpha Quadrant, but thought I heard in the video this is more for US stocks, Dividend Machine is for Singapore stocks . Did I hear this correctly? I’m a beginner and would like to start with Singapore stocks. Is Alpha Quadrant the right course to join?

    • @TheFifthPersonChannel
      @TheFifthPersonChannel  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for asking! Alpha Quadrant is a training course that focuses on value-growth strategies for investing. It focuses on the US market as there is higher potential for growth in the world's largest economy.
      Dividend Machines focuses on dividend strategies and investing for passive income. It focuses on the Singapore and Hong Kong markets as they have 0% tax on dividends.
      Both strategies are not exclusive to each other; you can marry both approaches in your overall stock portfolio according to your investment goals and priorities. Hope this helps!

    All the REITs lose money. Same as me. Fortunately, my bank stocks covered the loss. If the guy had just bought the 3 local banks, he’d be sitting on 400k?
