    Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

    • @darksunrise37
      @darksunrise37 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Actually I’d argue it’s about unequivocally sticking to ur thesis no matter panic nor euphoria. Yet still buy in a panic and sell in euphoria if it makes factual sense.

      What are the chances that a boy who grew up during a famine just happened to be a genius, escaped communist prosecution to France and then to USA, then got admitted to one of the Ivy League universities, got a million worth of student loans, and graduated with 3 degrees in economics, law, and MBA while performing rigorous research into companies that he wanted to invest his million dollars in? At this rate, he probably ate, slept, and shit at the same time. On a more serious note, he may be a genius but bet that he were helped by wealthy men numerous times along the way

      Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. You seem to be implying the Tiananmen Square protests were about income inequality.
    I don’t think that’s the case. It was about freedom. They erected a statue they called the Goddess of Democracy, that resembled our Statue of Liberty.
    The benefits of opening up the economy had started. But they were all still wearing the clothing the communists made them wear. Most enterprises were still state-owned.
    Gorbachev was visiting and had been experimenting with glasnost and perestroika. The Berlin wall would not fall for another six months.
    The protesters wanted the same openness.

    What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.

      There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist

      I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my CFA chooses entry and exit orders
