I do fancy that tour but my wife don't like any weather above 20 degrees, We have planned a few tours for next year but wife just about ran out of holiday already. She is the only person in our group who isn't retired or semi retired. But I am working on that one. Look forward to your next video.

Just having a catch up with the fabulous Picos before we venture back in a couple of weeks, good to be reminded of all the great roads, and I’d forgotten about the cows around the bends, so cheers to you both!
We had a great time in the Picos, such great riding out there. We've recently done the Alps for a change, but it's difficult to beat the empty Spanish roads and value for money out there. Have fun and keep an eye out cows 🐄

That day was a great ride but wow, hot! No Aircon but we got through it. Andy is a way better photographer than me so pleased he let me use some shots.
Great to see another Picos video after getting back from the drag strip. Too many Cowasakis on the road for me.😄 Those mountain views are really outstanding.
Absolutely splendiferous! Stunning scenery and having the roads to yourselves, wonderful. Great to see an Orange MT09, I had the very same from 2015 -2018 and loved it, lots of fun. I never toured on my MT10 but it’s the perfect machine for those roads. On to the next video in the series 👍🏻😁😮

It's brilliant over there, you will have a great time. I do have my moments of exuberance on the MT10 but these days you just cannot post anything naughty on TH-cam, folks just love reporting the vid. Hopefully you can see from our vids there are some amazing roads out there. Hope you enjoy it
Got to love a cow, so laid back and a common hazard in Spain and the French Pyrenees. Unfortunately you cannot hear their bells while riding to warn you they’re about🤣. They are big horned buggers too😬. Regarding the weather it can be very localised in the mountains…once got caught by a cross wind that scared me to death…

I think the Pico's is as good a place as any to be a 'hooligan' Might be an idea for the future? 'You carry on Carol, I'll catch you up at the next 'waypoint'....if not before...bit like what Andy was up to...🙂 I'm guessing Andy is hanging on to his photos to match your video' releases on his Insta account? What date did you leave the UK? If I'd have gone this year we would have been there around the same time...☹ I would most likely have taken the Plymouth ferry on the 10 July...
Carol did a lot of graft planning the routes on this tour, something I'm very appreciative of. Hopefully others will be able to make use of the routes in the future

A lot of twisties and a wonderful ride. That huge stone there was scary. I believe that only the temperatures were a bit too high, otherwise it was perfect. For both... just keep up. Here goes my like.
Richard / Carol , Great to see your Pico’s return visit videos ,we booked for those digs for 2019 which like you had to cancel for COVID! We did manage to get there in June this year ( many thanks for your help with the routes we used!) and hope to return soon. Looking forward to seeing this set of video’s. ps , Carol is getting very good with your productions ! Is she thinking of doing it professionally !! You could retire early with that new bike !!
That's really interesting that you had the same apartment booked, was a good place and certainly an upgrade from our cabin on a campsite of the previous visit. I'm behind editing the vids, both of us work full time and the TH-cam stuff is just for fun and a record of our holidays. Carol has been brilliant in the last few years with the channel. She plans all the routes and stops obviously helps with filming and she creates the thumb nails people see when scrolling. I'm still the one editing things together and I try not to make things too boring. The tiny amount we make on Google ad revenue isn't looking like early retirement or a new bike 🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting, in way it helps support and build the channel 👍

🤣🤣 Yes we should have. Our first Picos trip two years ago was planned after watching some of RV's earlier vids. Think he's just been out there with several other vloggers (Mr Fish and Moto Mogul) so I expect there will be loads of Picos vids circulating soon.

Carol is just a super organised person. Pre tour she's on Google maps and street view. Some folks think you should just ride and explore, we prefer to hopefully know where the best bits of an area are and ride them. Always good to hear from you, we are all good here, hope it's the same for you.
The Picos are definitely something I'd be interested in doing at some point, some of the valley's are very reminiscent of the French stuff I did a few month back, awesome views 😁 Couldn't have been more accurate about the roads in Derbyshire too and I think the cows were looking for directions 🤣 I recommend a Cool Cover if you don't like a hot seat or bum too, I was skeptical at first especially considering the price but it's been so so worth it in the long run, they're based in Ledbury and would be a good run out as they can make them while you wait by appointment 👍

Sometimes starting and finishing a route in the same place causes issues so Carol decided to split it. Yep really enjoyed riding there, was a great day
Being super tall I can never find screens that don't cause turbulence so prefer the clean air of no screen. Also it gives a better view on TH-cam.31,000 miles now on the MT10 👍

Don't get me going about Gopros, got so sick of loosing footage, freezing or batteries dieing I moved to filming this whole tour on Insta and have now just bought a DJI Osmo Action 3. @@Banditmanuk I know, it’s been a while. Getting the work life balance is a game in itself! Yes, that sort of way and a tad further. GoPros are fickle things aren’t they? Just don’t use anything other than GoPro batteries and SD cards suited to match. Always a learning curve. Working through the edit but as you know, it all takes time, eh? 😉
I've liked the Michelin Road 5s, had two pairs and there is a review of them on this channel. A very good sport touring tyre. Currently I'm running Bridgestone T32's again a great tyre. If you do just dry roads and track days then something less treaded and more sporty may be applicable but I'm probably not the person to advise you on those. Sorry for the late reply.

@@parahandy778 I've had bad weather in Scotland and good. Our Scotland vids last year had blazing sun every day! Two years before same area 9 days of rain. Definitely got chance of better weather in the Picos but it can rain.

Carol's a superb route planner. Looks like you all had a great time, makes the long journey down all the more rewarding.

I think we still enjoyed the corners but where its not open and heavily wooded, its wise to not be at max lean angle for sure. 😳
