- In this tutorial, I show an easy minimal Mokume Gane technique. Perfect for beginners and advanced clayers. Choose any surface treatments you like to work with and apply them to this technique. You can use paint, alcohol ink, glitter, mica powder, foil leaf, etc.
Clay used in this video is Sculpey Premo rolled to a number 5 on an Atlas 150.

What a unique take on the Mokume Gane technique! But did you hear me yell “NOOOO” when you pushed all those beautiful left over bits into a pile??
😂 I don't normally rake them all up like that. I did that for the speed of the video. Because this video was already getting lengthy, I decided that was the fastest was to clean up. I normally save the extra slices. However, I will make something from the pile I raked up. I save all my clay, every bit. I was wondering if anyone would say anything about that. Thank you for watching and sharing that, so I could let everyone know it's not wasted. ❤
