    Hi 👋 new subbie. Great video, thanks.
    Yes, I can understand your southern drawl perfectly...but then again I have one too 😂 (Georgia)
    Also...yes, metallic-y is absolutely a word 😆❤

      Thank you for your lovely words of support, and thank you for subscribing. It's so funny to hear myself recorded. I love adding "y" to words. I wonder sometimes if it's a Southern thing. Haha. ❤

      That's awesome. Go, NC! Sometimes, I catch myself, not enunciating words properly because of that drawl, and when the captioning catches it, I just laugh at what it thinks I said 😂. Thank you for watching!

    Your work is lovely and your ‘drawl’ understandable and charming.
    Just to be clear, is it resin, chrome, resin, chrome OR
    Resin, chrome, resin, chrome then another resin ?
    Thank you 😊

    • @Caricoclay
      @Caricoclay  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

  • @lisajackson1650
    @lisajackson1650 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thank you for sharing this. I love it!
    How do you seal the top layer of mica? If I understand correctly, the order is resin, mica, resin, mica. Will that top layer bind that well?

    • @Caricoclay
      @Caricoclay  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, you have the order right. You can do as many layers as you like as long as you end with the mica. It will stay on pretty well. However, you will need to do at least 2 layers and then a resin if you want no wear at all. So that would be resin, mica, resin, mica, resin. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching. I'm so glad you liked it. It really does look like metal when done. I hope you try it. 🙂

    • @Caricoclay

      Je vous en prie. ce que vous faites est d'appliquer la résine puis d'appliquer de la poudre. Ensuite, appliquez à nouveau de la résine puis de la poudre, et cela maintient la tenue. Il résistera à l'usure.

      I don't really use a particular brand of mirror chrome mica. However, I have used a brand called Veronni from amazon successfully. It's currently $9.99 for 6 jars.
