More Cows coming Home. Plus we are still doctoring sick calf.

- I'm so excited. I get to bring Cedar & Oakley home. Going to start working on haircare and showmanship. Going to get them on feed, so they will be show ready by the fall! We also had to go doctor the baby calf at our lease pasture. She is getting better but not 100%.

You are the test case for whether my 16, 14 and 12 year olds get to do more with their channel / social media accounts.
Thanks (I think) 😂 It’s a lot of work but I enjoy posting content about what I like to do. My parents are super involved and supervise everything I do and post. And depending how it’s used, social media can be a good thing. I would recommend letting them use it, but monitor it.
@@keepinitcountry5I worry about trolls. It’s tough on us dads. As much as we tease our babies and joke around, we want to protect our kids. But not over protect. You seem to have a good base of people who encourage you.
Farm and ranch kids are more likely to be different than other kids, and it’s a good thing. Did you know that as the percentage of the population that feeds the rest of the world shrank, those farm kids went on to become superstars. The Apollo science corps that took us to the moon, half of them were farm kids. 1st generation removed from the farm. They knew how to think on their feet and solve problems, the only thing that saved the crew of Apollo 13.
Times have changed, and kids no longer feel a sense of purpose, quite frankly, because they don’t have one. They are miserable. My 16 year old did 2 years of high school after being home schooled all her life and being a farmers daughter. She is a younger version of Caitlin Clark as far as athletic ability. She decided to graduate this year and it caused an uproar because she would have been offered scholarships to play college sports. She just couldn’t relate to the other students. Kids who call themselves “furry’s” the school putting litter boxes in the bathroom. She came home and said “I’M OUT!”

The wormer is Ivermectin pour-on and the fly spray is an oil based Saber fly spray pourer-on.

Cash is. He’s out of Here I Am. Waylon is just a mixed breed. He’s out of a Simmental bull 😂

@@user-bz1ib2ge4fI bought all of my steers. Unfortunately I have only had heifers since we have bought cows to start breeding club calves
