Video editing softwares depend on what type of computer you use and what level of editing you're at.
A good place to start for basic edits will be imovie & final cut pro.
If you want more control over your editing, then adobe premiere pro will be a great one.

Best book for serious designers: PATTERN DRAFTING & GRADING WOMEN'S AND MISSES' GARMENT DESIGN by M. ROHER which includes pattern-making for half sizes, juniors, sub-teens, and teens. It is better then any other book published today. You may still be able to get it from Rohr Publishing Co in Baltimore, MD. Use mine to this day that I bought in 1980's for my class at Moore College of Art & Design.
The book I mentioned above also comes with sets of 1/4" and 3/4" pattern foundations with detailed instructions on how to scale to standard size. There are hundreds of styles of blouses, undergarments, pants, coats, dresses, skirts, bathing suits, sleeves...ALL styles in each of these categories with detailed instructions on how to achieve professional results. You can even make a 3/4" dress form from these "miniature scale" patterns to use for testing out your designs before you make your full-size muslins. Just LO💖E this book! I recommend it to all serious fashion designers!

Hey pricillia I'd like to recommend another book it's called a guide to fashion sewing by connie Amaden Crawford... I got it for a really cheap price on the us Amazon site but it's quite pricey on Amazon UK.
