@@ferhog7705yeah but act 1 is like 6 years after the uprising at which point Vander has had time to reflect and blame himself during many a sleepless night, in the heat of that moment Vander blamed Silco and tried to murder him: "When she died- I lost my head. I told myself what i did to you was for the greater good, that you deserved it. But the dirt was on both our hands." - Vander's letter to Silco It's a parralel to Vi and Powder, to how in a moment of losing control both Vi/Vander react rashly to catastrophe which puts both Powder/Silco on their respective paths.
“What are you waiting for? He’s your dad to.” The moment I realized that things have changed for Vi and Jinx. They can’t go back to the way things were. But…maybe they can rebuild something different, something better.
Vander’s death split them apart. His return brought them back together again. Even if things have gone to shit… there’s still something good that came out of it. Vi and Jinx got to be sisters again. After everything, all the distance and the hate they get to finally just talk out their differences. I think they both realised that Powder isn’t gone… like Vander in Warwick, she’s just wrapped up in her.
Thinking about the ‘old days’ of pre zaun, and how the undercity people must have lived below piltover rule is so intriguing. I’d love a spin-off show about silco, Vander, sevika, and maybe some new characters. And even heimerdinger before arcane. It’s just so mysterious and interesting
Back in the days Zaun was more like a evil pilltover. At some point the build biological weapons. Pilltover is just the old zaun elite who build a new quarter after the town nearly drowned and became independent.
The tears that immediately poured out of my eyes when it was revealed that Vi and Vander were hugging and then Vi’s “He is your dad too” made me sob even harder 😭 Even if it couldn’t last (at least for know) I am still glad the family got these moments together
0:10 ok here’s my theory. This kinda seems like both Vander and Silco had a thing for her, just the way that they both look at her and listen intently to her dreams of Zaun. If this is the case, it gives Silco’s line to jinx “you’re perfect” more weight if she reminds him of her
Jinx searching in the dark for the sister shes lost, the father she killed, and fearing the worst, whether shes about to lose one of them again, and finding the picture she wanted, maybe for years, the hug and the music what have they done to us each one mangled and transformed for the worst because of the past BRAVO FORTICHE BRAVO
i cried to this scene, it is so saaaaaddd, i don't cry often to movies and shows but this scene, especially "what are you waiting for" and vi stretching out her hand to jinx ugh this is too muuuuuuchhh
1:03 In different ways, they both tried fulfilling their ends. Silco had a passion and determination to build Zaun, at the cost of delving himself into unsavory methods and Vander kept the community together, despite the harsh conditions they are left with. All this from a single promise between friends culminating to a finality of "What have they done to us" song is truly what makes Arcane such a masterpiece.
2:26 I love the way Vi looks at Jinx; it's like she's finally coming to accept that even though she, Jinx and Vander have changed as people, they're still family through and through and they still love each other deeply at the end of the day. Vi is finally starting to see that Jinx didn't "kill" Powder, Powder and Jinx have always been the same person - her little sister.
For me the best scene I ever experienced was Ekko vs Jinx and I never thought that would be another scene as legendary as Ekko vs Jinx but now for me this scene is the best ever. The way that Jinx is shaking entire fight seeing her sister fighting their father is really heartbreaking and when in the end she see s them hugging she was so relieved and when Vi said come here is your father too is too much to handle
Jeez.. that look on Jinx's face after Vi says "he's your dad too" is just beautiful. Surprise, guilt, resolution. One of those emotional moments that are beyond words, but you can see it, and feel it so deeply.
I think he's looking at her with tenderness, just like Vander, because they both appreciate her a lot, besides, at this point, Silco wasn't still hurt, so maybe it was easier for him back then to express affection.
Few moments in film or television have ever made me cry as much as this one. Through so much grief, guilt, anger and suffering, all these poor, broken people want is to be a family again. Everything else that has happened melts away, because in this moment at least, they've found each other again, nothing else matters. No matter what else follows, how much more pain and heartbreak they'll endure, that they had this moment together means everything.
Vander and Silco were friends of Felicia and Connol, so they were like godfathers to Violet and Powder. So the relationship they created with the girls wasn't just by chance.
no seems to have commented on: this shows that it's not about one individual, story of life is intergenerational you are just the next chapter in your parent's story, as you will be the prologue to your children's story (even if they are not even born)
This part had me sobbing, what a good fucking scene. And the look vi gave powder when she called her into the hug, such a broken family with the love still retained
They were all genuinely compassionate people who got dealt the worst hand by fate. But they both find reason to move forward and endure for these two girls.
The scene where Jinx almost loses it and tears runs down her face, has one of the BEST facial animation I've seen in 3D. Kudos to whoever animated that shot. 👏👏👏👏
This has to be one of the most beautiful and powerful scenes I've seen in media this year... The fact that Vander's spirit fought his way through the bloodlust and pure animal rage to embrace his daughters with such adoration, love, and softness was so endearing ❤
I tried to resist with all of my being but at Vi’s “What are you waiting for? He’s your dad too” and at Jinx being broken I just started audibly sobbing
Fate really is terrifying. Imagine these three, One wound up dead, The other a werewolf and the other a drug lord Industrialist. God, it makes me emotional for some reason
When the screen went pitch black along with the music the goosebumps than cried a little too much than I thought I would what a masterpiece this show is
This is absolutely beautiful. I wish my grandfather was alive to see it. He would've loved it. 1939-2017 rip. He loved animation like the last airbender and he absolutey loved korra. He always said korra was his girl.... I wish he couldve seen this.
The fear in Jinx's eyes is so brilliantly written. She is wondering if she again jinxed things as she was trying to fix them.

@@ferhog7705yeah but act 1 is like 6 years after the uprising at which point Vander has had time to reflect and blame himself during many a sleepless night, in the heat of that moment Vander blamed Silco and tried to murder him:
"When she died- I lost my head. I told myself what i did to you was for the greater good, that you deserved it. But the dirt was on both our hands." - Vander's letter to Silco
It's a parralel to Vi and Powder, to how in a moment of losing control both Vi/Vander react rashly to catastrophe which puts both Powder/Silco on their respective paths.
So Vander and Silco were V and Powder’s godfathers.
Yep, Vander, Silco and Felicia (their mom) formed a mutual relationship, forming a grop to rebel against Piltover. Sadly, that... didn't work out.
2:49 I’m not crying. I’m just cosplaying a waterfall😭😭😭
😂😂😂😂 “he’s your dad too….” Holy cow…death to me! 😩😩😩😩 ugly crying at this part!
It’s okay to cry. it’s more better to not bottle up in. just let it out.
The reunion we didn't know we needed to see.
I Can assure you i knew i needed it
Tell me about it. I didn't think it would be possible. 😭😭
Oh I KNEW I needed it
The reunion we didn't know we could see
She sounds and moves so much like jinx! That’s rlly good casting and attention to detail in the body language
Has to be Ella Parnell doing both
@@TheMattyNation I was thinking the same thing, sounded so much like her
@@TheMattyNation oops nvm, it was a different VA, they just sounded the same
@ they tricked me! Lmao
Well, in that case, it's more like Jinx is like her mother
“What are you waiting for? He’s your dad to.”
The moment I realized that things have changed for Vi and Jinx.
2:17 absolutely destroyed me. She was so afraid that she jinxed it once again... but she didn't. In that one cathartic moment, Jinx finally *heals.*
It's actually a shame that we know things are only going to get worse. Jinx will go deeper into madness and Vander will lose most of his former self.
Silco have the same bangs like Jinx
Vander is hot head like Vi
And their mothers likes the same juice that powder likes
While also their mother kinda looks like Caitlyn which sort of explains why Vi is drawn to her.
Notice how Jinx's braids are the same style as her mother's? Def Silco's idea right there.
@@meiru2453freud wins again
Same juice, same cup, same straw.
The moment when Vander hears that she's pregnant and give's her some juice
This is a reminder that things can go absolutely terrible. Embrace and cherish what you have _right now_
Years of guilt, regret, and anger forgiven. And all it took was a father's love.
I swear I was thinking about that waiting after act 1 before act 2.
All they need is one season and to go into detail on what went to shit.
Back in the days Zaun was more like a evil pilltover. At some point the build biological weapons. Pilltover is just the old zaun elite who build a new quarter after the town nearly drowned and became independent.
and the zaun & piltover lore is still tiny compared to the rest of league's world "runeterra"...
Yes I NEED a prequel
The tears that immediately poured out of my eyes when it was revealed that Vi and Vander were hugging and then Vi’s “He is your dad too” made me sob even harder 😭 Even if it couldn’t last (at least for know) I am still glad the family got these moments together
0:10 ok here’s my theory. This kinda seems like both Vander and Silco had a thing for her, just the way that they both look at her and listen intently to her dreams of Zaun. If this is the case, it gives Silco’s line to jinx “you’re perfect” more weight if she reminds him of her
Ngl that's a great theory 🤯
More likely a sibling relationship, not romantic
To be honest i think silco is gay.
@@gonx9906 wtf bro😂😂😂😂
@@gonx9906 ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯???
“ I was never angry with you. I was sad because I was scared. You lost your way.” Iroh
2:15 and I start crying absolute masterpiece of a show
Jinx searching in the dark for the sister shes lost, the father she killed, and fearing the worst, whether shes about to lose one of them again, and finding the picture she wanted, maybe for years, the hug and the music what have they done to us each one mangled and transformed for the worst because of the past BRAVO FORTICHE BRAVO
Enough to make a grown man cry, and that's okay.
Felicia: "this one word there goanna have to live with"
Violet and Powder: exclusively go by nicknames
Vi and jinx
Their Mom's hair is violet and when you mix Red (Vi) and Blue (Jinx) you get violet.
Also Violet is the full name of Vi
Since Powder called her Violet in episode 3, that's hardly a secret.
@@xxlCortezand in these scene on the video
0:54 This is exactly what Silco was thinking of when he found Powder that night.
i cried to this scene, it is so saaaaaddd, i don't cry often to movies and shows but this scene, especially "what are you waiting for" and vi stretching out her hand to jinx ugh this is too muuuuuuchhh
Jinx with her mother’s braid and Silco’s bang
Suddenly, Vander and Silco's relationships with Vi and Jinx hit different now
I really love the detail of Vander embracing them with his left hand, so he can feel their warmth. Since his right hand is totally metallic 😢
Wow. Riot and Fortiche seriously leave no stone unturned. Every frame _means_ something.
The hope that this scene ( 2:48 ) exudes is undeniably extraordinary! Respect for Vander, Jinx and Violet. R.I.P. Isha
Dreaming of happier days
This makes the fact that Silco was willing to kill both Powder and Vi at one point much darker
Damnit, Silco is hot
Hey, all of them are hot, its really a three course meal in the past.
He has the same bangs like Jinx
@@Lugaus042 Damn dude you're right, How tf did I not notice that
Ppl realizing something I had known ever since I met him... damn I love him from ep. 1!
he looks like my senior high teacher
This is some of the best writing I've seen, I didn't think they could top season 1 but it's been incredible.
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENED
THE END ( *ABSOLUTE CINEMA* )
For me the best scene I ever experienced was Ekko vs Jinx and I never thought that would be another scene as legendary as Ekko vs Jinx but now for me this scene is the best ever. The way that Jinx is shaking entire fight seeing her sister fighting their father is really heartbreaking and when in the end she see s them hugging she was so relieved and when Vi said come here is your father too is too much to handle
This is all we wanted from the mid of season 1 .
isha joining in the hug will forever live inside my head
As a 48 year old man.. I finally listened to my daughter and gave an animated series a chance. The family reunion scene hit me right in the feels.
Jeez.. that look on Jinx's face after Vi says "he's your dad too" is just beautiful.
Surprise, guilt, resolution. One of those emotional moments that are beyond words, but you can see it, and feel it so deeply.
This in my oppinion is easily one of the most emotional scenes, if not the most emotional one in all of season 2...
Jinx looks and sounds so much like her mother. You think Silco ever saw Felicia's face when he looked at her?
I like that when Jinx first goes in to hug, she grabs Vi first before moving her hand to Vander.
Follow this scene up by the finale of episode 6 and you can cry enough tears to fill an ocean.
no seems to have commented on:
this shows that it's not about one individual, story of life is intergenerational
you are just the next chapter in your parent's story, as you will be the prologue to your children's story (even if they are not even born)
The shadows fading with Vi and Vander standing there. Epic.
This scene alone made me shed a tear. This was amazing VI and Jinx finally got there father back again
This part had me sobbing, what a good fucking scene.
And the look vi gave powder when she called her into the hug, such a broken family with the love still retained
Young Silco is my new favorite thing, he’s so adorable 😭
The most emotional, beautiful and powerful hug I've seen from any animated series
This scene...this show...just solidifies how love is the most powerful force out there.
Silco has a such complete profile and personality, really well done the writers
They were all genuinely compassionate people who got dealt the worst hand by fate. But they both find reason to move forward and endure for these two girls.
1:32 You are freaked out about losing your sister, aren't you, jinx?
She was afraid she may have caused the death of a family member again. A Jinx.
Think she's freaked out that it would be her fault again.
But took vi with good intentions, no to kill her
Meanwhile Isha comes in with that, "Whether you like it or not im part of this family too now," energy
Don't touch my daughter 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The death of Vander tore them apart, the resurrection of Warwick brought them together. Writing at its finest and purely just so God damn beautiful
I wonder they’ll fight again now that Isha killed Vander
Deep down Vi and Jinx are still frightened little children looking for their parents. They never left the S1 opening.
The scene where Jinx almost loses it and tears runs down her face, has one of the BEST facial animation I've seen in 3D. Kudos to whoever animated that shot. 👏👏👏👏
when "our love" from s1 started playing i exploaded
This has to be one of the most beautiful and powerful scenes I've seen in media this year... The fact that Vander's spirit fought his way through the bloodlust and pure animal rage to embrace his daughters with such adoration, love, and softness was so endearing ❤
Ahhh Silco💔 I miss him so much and Vander. Crying at 4am wasn't something I thought would happen.
IT really is not necessary for an animated series to break me this much. My gosh i cried
I tried to resist with all of my being but at Vi’s “What are you waiting for? He’s your dad too” and at Jinx being broken I just started audibly sobbing
"Our Love" had another different meaning after this act dropped
I love that song still listen to it to this day. The full song is straight gas!!
I'm a grown ass, bulky, tattoed, bearded man... this scene crushed me into tears.
In the end. You're have a Heart.
Who gives a shit? Like you being a bulky tatted up man means you don't have feelings 🤣🤣
Fate really is terrifying. Imagine these three, One wound up dead, The other a werewolf and the other a drug lord Industrialist. God, it makes me emotional for some reason
Can't express how much I cried over this, we actually got to see them reunite. Everything was actually happy for a moment
god this scene was phenomenal the flashback, then to jinx and the family finally reunited. god. everything about this. is incredible.
When the screen went pitch black along with the music the goosebumps than cried a little too much than I thought I would what a masterpiece this show is
out of every act in the show, this one blew my expectations away, absolutely tearjerking.
This is absolutely beautiful. I wish my grandfather was alive to see it. He would've loved it. 1939-2017 rip. He loved animation like the last airbender and he absolutey loved korra. He always said korra was his girl.... I wish he couldve seen this.
I'm sorry for your loss. Gold bless you and your grandfather ❤
why do you want me to cry again i already cried enough today
The only time in season 2 Jinx didn't get mad at being called Powder, was when Warwick said it. The level of writing....
Altough a cinematic masterpiece in my eyes,
I lack the tear reservoir to rewatch this series as much as I'd like to
