The most upsetting thing is that the embassy never gives u the specific reason as to why they denied you a visa in the first place and they expect you to explain why you were denied during your second interview quite funny and unfair 😢

I had a Visa refusal under Art 214(b) 2 months ago in Tallinn, Estonia, the reason for the refusal was indeed the officer's mood and that I was not prepared at all.
After I got the refusal I came across ARGO, today my visa was issued B1/B2. Place Frankfurt, Germany.

What do they get out of not allowing people to enter especially students (F1) who have genuine academic background who have paid the application fee, approach professors for all the letter of recommendations and answer all the many tedious questions asked by university, gave an interview with the Dean of the department ,pay enrollment deposit, pay sevis fee and pay visa fee (which is expensive and not a small deal) when they want immigrants and take 50,000 DVS every year with lower qualifications anyway. Strict Stupid interviews. There's no logic /common sense. The educated people are the ones who will help the country's economy better actually . Doesn't make sense.

Hi! I was denied twice before and I'll try again for the 3rd time after 7 months (my last appointment was on February). In that span of time I got promoted to a higher position so I was thinking to include this in my answer if asked. So in case I will be asked "What has changed after my 2nd denial of visa", aside from the promotion, can I mention personal changes? (e.g. bought a car for the first time). I had interview on 28/08/2023 for b1 b2 visa at Johannesburg consulate. The consular took my passport and gave me 221g green paper but he didn't ask me anything he just say he will contact me until now they didn't even ask or requeste any document from me my question is why he didn't ask or check any of documents and how long is going to take for me to get response from them

Hello, everyone ! Thanks a lot Argo for this useful video. I had a visa Visa refusal on Frbruary, 2020 with my husband and I still ignore the reasons ( maybe due to Corona Virus). Now, I want to apply again with my daughter, who was born in 2021, but I am a little bit afraid to not able to convince the visa officer... especially if he/she will ask me about what changes I made since my last refusal ?!!! I have an F1 visa interview in 7 months. However, my 48 month window for drop box opportunity to renew my B1 will lapse in 2 months. I am thinking that I should apply for B1 renewal as well.

The lady just asked me who was going to fund the trip. I told her the person hosting was. Then she just said unfortunately we won't give you a visa because your not taking part in paying costs of the trip. I got denied the 2nd attempt on 9th May cause the VO wasn’t convinced why my Uncle would be paying my deficit of $6000 while I have been working.
I’m preparing for my 3rd attempt within the shortest possible time and would be changing my sponsor to myself(personal funds).
Would that be a problem to next VO. And what are the likely question the VO can ask about the change in sponsor and how well do I answer why I change to myself?

Visa officer refused visa to my friend parents because she caame here on B1B2 and applied for work permit and stayed here for 8 years now.
So when they went to the office for the interiew the first question they were asked who did your application, It was their son who is in USA. they asked for his details and they could not provide any as he did not send anything to his parents. They rejected the visa they are now applying for trhe visa again. What can we do differently. His parents have a business back home and they have properties.
We did for 8 members initially and now we are going to do for just 2 members will it help ? please help us to avoid refusal. does it matter they son came here and stayed in the US for a long time. but this documents are being processed in USCIS.

Hello, I have kind of a funny case:
I came to the United States as a tourist, got some experiences and opportunities so I apply to change my status to a student one (which was easier to do in America since in my home country there isn’t a us embassy at the moment).
Now I have been approved for the duration of my career but out of my ignorance I didn’t know that I would need to get my visa stamped in some Us consulate if I ever wanted to go out and comeback (which I want, since I want to see my family and my home). So what’s the advice that you would give me to get my visa stamped (which I hopefully will)?
I guess that I have to prepare myself for an interview just like anybody else, then for the us consulate I have the one that is closer to my home country where they must have more background of my fellow Venezuelans or I could go to Vancouver where actually will be cheaper since I’m closer to there and I have family who can support my stay while I get my visa stamped or interview.
Anyway, I feel is kind of weird my situation. I’d still probably start classes and postpone my home trip for next year.
