I recently ordered takeout: ribs and a brownie ice cream sundae with caramel and chocolate sauce. The sundae came in a separate white paper bag with a bunch of little containers containing toppings - candied pecans, whipped cream, sliced strawberries, caramel and a container of what I assumed was chocolate sauce. It wasn't chocolate...it was BBQ sauce! The ONLY reason I didn't pour it all over my sundae and ruin it was because I had gotten a tiny drop of sauce on my finger while taking off the lid and licked it off. The ribs already had BBQ sauce so I wasn't expecting extra but my sundae was SUPPOSED to have chocolate sauce and didn't.

I've had a chess board similar to that, but it wasn't marbled, it was just glass. Half of the pieces were clear, and half were frosted glass. We ended up taking off the felt on the bottoms, and painting the bottom different colors, so that we could play properly.

Nobody wants them anymore because abridged novels have gone out of style and they’re filling up thrift store book sections so a company decided to repurpose them into something decorative because the books are aesthetically pleasing and have pretty pattered paper on them.)
In the hotel, there is a second bed. It is a double room, meant for people who don't want to sleep together, but who are also comfortable watching each other shower and poo.

Of the two evils, I would much rather have chocolate on my steak. I've done things like putting some jelly on my pizza, so I get the whole sweet and savory thing. Then you gotta go out of your way to make something for that sauce, and we don't have energy for that. It was supposed to be a quick snack.

I'd definitely prefer syrup on my meat than bbq on my dessert. For one, I'm not a huge fan of barbecue, but also, sugary things already taste good on meat. I mean bbq itself has a lot of sugar. And mole is a thing. And I love teriyaki burgers that have pineapple on them and such. Sweet meats, honey glazed whatever. But bbq also has smokey flavors that'd be bad on ice cream. Maybe Salt and Straw could do it justice, idk. Chocolate ribs actually sound like they might be pretty bomb. Or actually, some mole ribs would be awesome. I want that now.
The letter notebook, I could see someone getting the last enitial & have it at a wedding or a mile stone birthday party for people to sign. I've seen all sorts of stuff like that where guests sign it, maybe write a little note & it become a keepsake from the event.

My optimistic assumption would be that there is a constant slow stream of water running from the top. So nothing could get caked on and the backsplash would be minimized. It is still one of the worst designs I could imagine

There was black and white marble but those were very expensive, so the art, sculptures and chess board where made of beige marble and beige/brown marble. In simple light it is very hard to see the diference, but there shall be white and black felt under each piece. The shower at 10:46 is made to sit in, to stand in a bathtub can be dangerous, and up until the mid 70th you did not shower every day and bath where more common, so my guess is that the shower and bathtub can be from around 1940 or a bit erlier.
I stayed overnight in a hotel room with my buddy, nothing weird because we had separate beds and all, but the wall to the bathroom was just a clear glass window. What was I supposed to do, watch my best friend take a dump and shower? We swapped rooms with another friend whose bathroom window was frosted. Hotels always do stuff like that and it is not sexy, even for your partner to watch them poop from your bed. Sidenote: there were handprints over the headboard like someone had been 'taken' there from behind. And I swear to god, when I stepped foot in the hallway I recognised it from an adult video

I have no idea WHY i'd be that way, but I imagine it has something to do with balls rolling across the court or something, idk. Chocolate has its place in savory dishes in many Latin American dishes. But keep in mind that chocolate sauce is mostly corn syrup with just enough chocolate flavor to remind you its supposed to be chocolate.
True! Cocoa is actually really good on savory foods, granted it’s not in the form of actual chocolate, because it’s slightly spicy and adds some pop to the food. I went to a restaurant that served everything, including savory foods, with some sort of cocoa in it and it was actually really good.

My brother had that chess set but it was very clear (haha glass pun) which pieces belonged to which team in his set.
glass chess sets are very playable though, it's pretty obvious to tell what's frosted and what's regular. That wooden set was just infuriating
