When I was in daycare the bathroom only one toilet had a door and there were around 10 toilets so i needed to go and the one with a door which i named the "SPECIAL TOILET!" that one was occupied so i had to use one of the other ones btw im a girl and a kid came in and said "HAHA I CAN SEE YOU POOPING!"

Loved the video. My most uncomfortable encounter was with some toilet paper in Sweden. It was brown, rough made from recycled paper... with a squirrel as the mascot
You're probably thinking of serla toilet paper but I've never encountered brown paper from them, but their normal toilet paper are actually nice
@YueSun-ub4ej it was 20 years ago, don't remember the brand name but there was definitely a squirrel on the package and it was rough and brown.
Speaking of weird utensils, I came across an antique that my late mother had. It turned out to be what’s called an Absinthe spoon. I had to use Google Lens to even find out what it was. It also happens to be potentially valuable too.
If she has the decanter they are very valuable as well. Gotta love some wormwood.

9:31 - I have actually used these lippy lids many times, a local coffee shop used to carry them for a while. I was hesitant at first, but in fact they are actually quite comfortable to use. Come to think if it, I rather miss them, now that they are gone
Yeah, I had the same thing. We used to get those cups all the time, and now it's a pretty nostalgic thing. Though, I can't really find them anywhere anymore.

i actually have one of those grapefruit spoons at home, it was my grandmother's. Its not as bad as it looks, the edge feels far more bumpy edging than sharp serrated.

22:07 - I've got three of those in my cutlery drawer; they actually do exist and even work, more or less. Takes practice to figure them out. And being that they're relatively small you can even eat the grapefruit with them, the cutting edges are NOT sharp, just serrated.
I’ve used these, and they do work fine. I class them with fish knives and forks though, and cake forks and tiny fruit forks. How much specialist cutlery do people have room for?!
The one we had was a little bit sharp, not like what they showed here.

This is not a modern day crazy invention. On the contrary they are considered the proper cutlery to use at the table to eat a grapefruit.

This for some reason made me laugh and feel uncomfortable at the same time
Personally the hidden urinal (or I shall call it door urinal) mostly could be used for those who need to go to the bathroom, but the urinals are broken by some crazy men or broken on pipes, and using an extra one so then it would be so much more helpful and quite interesting
the hidden urinal was one of three in that room originally. They sectioned it off instead of doing repairs. However incase they needed to access it they made an access door. The door was damaged and therefore not intedned to be used.

When I was a kid (1960s) we actually had serrated grapefruit spoons - I'd forgotten all about them until this episode. I only ever used the thing to get the segments outta the grapefruit (it never occurred to me to actually eat with one of 'em).

The egg in the plastic is actually pretty common in my hometown! You can find it at any local markets. It's not like the seller cracked the shell on purpose, it's just a way to sell some fresh eggs with imperfect shells, like cracked shells, little hole, etc. Some people buy it and immediately use them for making cookies and else

when I was little, my parents would buy all their soap, toothpaste, sunscreen, cream - anything like that - from the same makers because that brand was cheap. the drawback was that they ALL came in the EXACT SAME container - the only difference was a very small label on the top right corner of the container.

I grew up with grapefruit spoons in my cutlery drawer. Doesn’t cause any damage to your mouth and makes quick work of sectioning and eating grapefruit. We used it for other fruit also because it cut into it well without being sharp enough to get injured.
I thought I was the only one who grew up with that in my cutlery drawer. My grandmother ate a lot of fruit fruit… And as a consequence, we had that type of cutlery. :-) I thought I hallucinated it for the longest time, because nobody, I know knows what I am talking about when I speak of a grapefruit spoon.
I bought tie-down straps to secure and transport a large appliance home in my pick-up truck, and the packaging on the tie-downs was so tenaceous that the service desk at the home center couldn't get them out without wire cutters.
I bought a package of diarrhea pills and on opening the box the individual pills were blister packed without a tear notch and the only way in was to find the nail clippers.
I bought a set of padlocks that could only be opened with scissors or a knife.
The list goes on.
I recognize the need for safe packaging, but it gets ridiculous.
The cheese grater toilet paper was definitely designed as a torture device. I’d unironically want it if it was real, even if just to torment my enemies.

Yep that cooking spray and insect spray thing happened to me many years ago. I remember writing to the company at the time warning them of the dangers, but they never really did anything about it for a long time.
Re the carpet on the stairs, a local bank had carpet so horrifically patterned that it made me feel seasick every time I walked inside. I had to look upwards towards the ceiling so it didn't feel like my head was spinning.
At a sporting event one time, I went to the ladies and as I tugged on the end sheet of one of those giant round toilet paper rolls, the entire roll popped out of the case, bounced under the door and rolled away from me. Yep, brilliant!

I used to use a grapefruit spoon by myself in a lot of breakfasts in elementary. I had no problem with it after the first time or two.

I misunderstood and thought they would be the sort of art that makes you think of a hospital, so I drew surreal bandages/scalpels/blood bags and gauze. Back in my primary school, the toilet was an even stranger design. Although the male and female toilets have separate entrances, there is practically no wall in between to separate the two. In addition, since it have been there for decades, many doors are broken and not replaced. As a result, you can often see clearly what the other side is doing... It's really awkward initially, but gradually some people got used to this design and some made cardboard doors of their own...
