I love how light-hearted this interview is! It's great to see how down-to-earth Siouxsie and Budgie are. My mom saw The Creatures at the Metro in Chicago back in 1990 when she was a teenager and said their energy was palpable. She said that everytime she saw The Creatures as well as The Banshees that she had such a fun time. Hopefully our lady Sioux will consider doing more shows in the future so this young man can be graced by her amazing presence!
I fell in love with Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1988 with "Peek-a-Boo" and 'Peepshow', after which I discovered their whole canon starting, of course. with 'The Scream'. I feel even deeper in love when 'Boomerang' came out in 1989... then I found out about The Creatures' past in 1981. They were and have always been my creative muses! I don't know what I would have done or how I would have behaved if I would have won that contest!
Soux is wired here. Btw The Creatures sucked but they had a breakthrough album in 1998 which is everything I believe they wanted to do apart from "Let's Go Pluto"

Boomerang is long overdue a reissue
My favorite part of this is the Poorman! Jim Trenton. What a great guy!
Los Angeles folks know him as the poorman.... iconic voice of the 80s
Wow! I find it coincidentally odd that at 10:20 she mentions the place where I first heard the very same song she's talking about: "Manchild" .
Looks like they finally feel in love
0:33 lol yeah when 5 minutes were enough time to write one song! nowadays 5 minutes are like 5 dollars, they can't buy you a decent meal ha ha! :D
THE MUTHAPHKN POORMAN! THAT'S A S WEST COAST AS YOU GET!
I will be 50 this year, and I think if I had a chance to sit down and ask Siouxsie questions I would still behave like a nervous 16 year old.
🖤
No not wired! They both look great!
so which one of them could take more voltage, then?
Is that interviewer Poorman?
Woot! The Poooormaan!
