Nice job Richard. It pays to outsource skills to the people for certain jobs, the results speak for themselves here. Love the attitude, it'd be nice if more people saw it your way.
I only just discovered you and the build today. Wow, this is a beautiful and well made machine. I'm guessing im in for some hours of binge watching all the build videos.
Such an awesome build mate, so glad I stumbled across your channel right back at the beginning. About the only thing I think it needs is some nice wheels but it’s a real credit to you mate. We’ll done.
Richard, looks fantastic. Ref your garage door, roll the curtain all the way up and check the distance between rolled door and the ceiling. If you have the space you can raise the L Brackets (or use a lifting block on the L Brackets) at each end to raise the whole door. Additionally, cut the limiting tabs off the side tracks and re-attach at the highest point possible. The other option would be to get new side tracks. The last thing to do, and this is brand dependent, reprogram the upper and lower limits of travel.
Just brilliant Richard, looks and sounds fantastic mate, what an excellent job on the wiring, wow. 1 bit of advise, if you can, mount some sort of BRIGHT reversing light on the back because lonely bush tracks at night are pitch black and to try and reverse down them without a GOOD reverse light is just hopeless, well done again my friend. @@DesignedandBuilt best I've ever seen mate not best you've ever seen 😉 great work mate so much thought was put into this mate and it truly shows! You should be proud of it!
Congratulations Richard! You must be so happy seeing the fruits of your labours resulting in an outstanding final product. 100% agree with your thoughts on engaging experts for specialist work. The results speak for themselves. Hopefully we get a "show and Shine at work again sometime soon and you can show it off there. Barra engine should get you in the door no problem right?😉😁
Cheerin'! So stoked to see it so close now! I've been following this build since the start and it is honestly my favourite build series on TH-cam. I love the level of detail you go into. Your attention to detail is awesome and makes the end result incredibly satisfying. This beast of a vehicle is inspiring and definitely something to be proud of and keep around forever. Well done 👌🏼
Mate - I've been hanging for this episode to come out - it's unreal. Hope you will do a few episodes on the engineering process? Best build series on TH-cam - so good I can even get past the disco lights underneath :)
Thanks Chris, I would love to but I'm a 1 man band and my priority will be to get it through engineering and not filming as much. I might just talk through the changes I have to make! - Glad you can get the disco lights 🤣
Looks great again mate. if you get the chance or it comes up can we get what it weighs in KGs? Interesting to see with the custom setup everything how it’s + or - other utes

Been watching from the very start of this build, what a masterpiece, hope you enjoy driving it as much as I did watching it all come together!

Hey Andrew, unfortunately there is an Ibeam directly ontop and I can't move the door up so it's pretty much at the top of its limits!

Yep I'll do that for sure!
Holy fuck you've blown patriot campers out of the water. This is the best 40 series cruiser in Australia.
Are you sure about that
@@レーキムの皮 oh hell yeah this eats patriot campers 45 seties.
Looks Great, well done.
Dont agree with those dangerous blinding unnecessary light bars. Should only be legal outback or bush.
AWESOME.
PERFECT.

Great video and build. What brand is the fridge?
Brass monkey 8L! Got it from jaycar
Where did you get those tail lights ?
So is this pretty much a cut up 40 series shell with a bunch of non-genuine Toyota parts aka aftermarket made not in Japan?
Yep! But all stronger/better bits than original. No brand loyalty here. Who cares 😜
Are you any relation to the guy from Shed Built. I would love to see both yours and his Troopy on the track together
No relation, but that would be pretty cool. He has a weapon of a troopy!
What a/c are you running ?
Vintage air Gen 2 mini
Dyno day?
In about 2 weeks!
Sounds like a dead coil perhaps?
Unplugged injector, good ears!
why does the Haltech look so laggy and slow?
Maybe my frame rate on the camera!

ooo yep 👌
what have you actually done???
Nothing mate, this is a build series about bolting on items from the shelf. I should re-title it to bought not built 😝.
wtf is this gens with coloured lights
I won't be running them as party lights, more just a constant colour for seeing under the car!
