This s70 originally China car fitted with only 1.5 non turbo engine in other markets. In Malaysia, Proton decided to fit 1.5 turbo MPI engine turning the car into a beast, with very good power weight ratio. Given the history of Proton tuning their handling prowess for sedan and legendary GTi satria , this sedan greatly benefited from this DNA. This car can easily out-gun the Satria GTi (I owned and drive GTi for 15 years before selling.)

Looks like S70 is quite sophisticated. Proton had improved so much with Geely. just that we need to see the reliability soon. Anyway nice and detailed review. Good job
improve in terms on which part? that car is just a geely emgrand with right handle and minor changes.

@@chanyeechengS70 ride and handling is tuned for Malaysian roads. The Chinese prefer softer riding suspension while the S70 is more balanced between comfort and sporty. Saying this is just a rebrand is doing injustice to the amount of work done by proton to prepare the car for malaysia

诚意满满的一辆车
I drove the previous gen vios as a rental car. Coming from 2013 kia forte 2.0 to the vios i noticed lower performance, handling and high speed stability of the vios compared to my forte. You can definitely feel the difference between B and C segment if you have been driving C segment car for long time. I suspect it's the same thing for S70 vs vios and city. The only reason to go for vios or city is the perceived reliability of the brands and perhaps fuel economy. Apart from that, S70 is the better car

整體上來說 是不錯的一台車... 現在用著2018的Preve小改款 下一輛就是S70了...不過還是要謝謝愛的人拍的視頻 辛苦了

nice review, almost change my mind from City to this S70. If you guys are interested with Low Speed Follow which is very important feature during traffic jam, the nearest competitor is City RS Hybrid for rm111k and Vios G for rm95k. Others segment is Veloz for rm95k and Alza AV for rm75k. However Vios G Lane Keep Assist is ping pong, same with Alza AV.
What's ping-pong? Can not rely on ke?

my city rs hybrid vibrate alot when revving hard..really turn off at the engine honestly..plus the cvt noise is worse than previous model...to me not worth 110k pricetag...

A segment 的车升级成A+ segment
B segment 的车升级成B+ segment
C segment 的车升级成C+ segment
D segment 的车升级成D+ segment
Saga和persona 合并，希望下一款d segment sedan能叫回perdana
其实很久以前已近是这样，Persona Elegance 的年代就已经是B+segment, 现在的Persona才回到真正的B segment , 这辆S70 是B++ segment 😂

看到它的 ICC 和 ACC 还有ADAS 2.0 有点心动。
虽然我没用到这些系统，但是看到感觉很特别。哈哈哈
现在的车子没有这些系统就跟不上时代了😂

Nowadays car only for family and safety slow only I really hate but before 90s ,2000 Generation all damn it's next level...that is beast they call legend...have a perfect handling, torgue, pick up, that sound, strong, no system all no abs no esc and etc...i think old is better and perfect...proton before they have a best production...as specially proton wira all spec, satria, putra and more.. that all have a nice performance and perfect handling
New cars CVT only. No 5 6 speed automatic. Electric power steering no feel, brake down faster and cost more because NeW tEcH. CVT after 200,000km get rid as fast as possible. Who cares about turbo when transmission fail faster.

proton的车价渐渐地不再是月薪3千的打工族能负担的了，如果连saga跟persona这两款便宜汽车也被cut掉换成更高价的车的话

爱的人，这辆有没有好像X90一样，人离开自动上锁，还有如果后门在engine start 时开过了，off engine 后锁车会响hon 三次提醒检查后面留下动西或baby😅
这个我就不清楚啦，因为当时原厂没说还有没有给我们钥匙
看了review,在这个价位觉得Vios 和 City完蛋。S70无论在动力表现，操控表现都比Vios和City好，配件又舍得给。当Geely Proton把价钱压低，给的东西多，Toyota 反而在卖贵加cut spec, Honda算差不多吧，Toyota真的要吃灰了。Toyota还想靠reliability赚钱？新Vios问题多，而且基本上是Daihatsu的贴牌车，耐用的印象慢慢消失，加上车漆很薄。Honda买引擎送车？Niama动力输得够够力。Toyota和Honda如果不进步，sales真的会降很多。当然不是说Proton没问题，一样QC没很好，parts难找是硬伤。如果这两个问题解决了，真的吊着Toyota和Honda来打。
名牌，就是名牌，还有好多忠实粉丝的，越贵的东西越多忠实粉丝
這個價錢肯定輸。但是它是國產牌子的車。因該價格就是比較好。如果你看在日本的corolla價錢也是如此。只是就是知道馬來西亞錢好賺就出一些款式賺多點。就好像之前KIA FORTE什麽都給KIA銷量很好。S70這輛車是中國2021版沒有什麽值得去驚艷。但是剛好這個價位現在有多一個選擇。PROTON有進步嗎看看現在買著自己PROTON PERSONA那輛簡直差，新車在停車不停的REV好像ALTENATOR壞了般。現在買的x50 x70 s70就是貼牌，如果再貼牌沒有存在的意義倒不如直接叫吉利。
和当年的proton preve一样也是Turbo车。 本地车无法和日系车相比，都不是同一个出生地。
煞车是很好 但如果这个车煞车那么好 会不会影响普通车的煞车来不急的撞上这个比较反应过快的车 这一点很多人都没考虑到

吉利的车价钱配件是没有什么可嫌弃的了不相信你可以货比三家~问题是出在3/4s维修店~本身是X70的车主3个月~进厂2次~电路不稳定~冷气系统超不稳定一路响个不停还拖着车高转速~油价80-90跑不到300..回厂他会和你说~是的很多人都说吃油~感觉他的态度是很正常这样根本没有想过解决方案~到最后还和我说外面购买一些器材可能可以解决这吃油的方案~我直接傻眼。。以上的解说我都是有照片有录音纪录要兑现的我都可以放上网给大家证实。。吉利的车感觉没问题问题是维修的厂因为外面找不到零件一定要回原厂维修~买了车就好像半个脖子被他捏着~维修时不是试一下试一下咯~不可以又🎉倒回去咯不然怎样养活这班开饭的好员工
回厂修理更惨，因为厂里面的人都是不怎么维修的就只是帮你看看而已就讲没什么问题
结果过几天车坏了
厂的维修人员不懂装懂的，小问题都要你放车一个星期，😂
这才是最令人担忧的事
希望proton把吉利的车卖去香港特别行政区和澳门特别行政区
以前曾经有说过要在马来西亚生产右陀吉利汽车，不知道现在这计划还有没有。

Yes the segment might unfair.
But the price tho… same as city and vios
Of course need to compare with B segment because of the price. Be practical, most people in Msia own B segment cars for ease of use and fuel economy. It's really a good eye opener

这个价钱还是不值得买这车，以后找零件等零件难，服务差，车很耗油，3缸保养费贵又麻烦多，买4缸日本车省油问题少价钱贵一点而已。
