They are the same pencils. But budget version. When they come in tin , they have gold dipped end. When they come in basic cardboard box, they are with open end. Same thing with Mondeluz ones. Enjoy your gift! Thank you for the video!

Thank you and thanks for the explanation. Makes sense as they feel identical to use!

And the wood is also different. The dipped end pencils are made using cedar wood. This budget version has cheaper wood.

@@jannsteiner ah, that is interesting, I have not noticed a difference when sharpening but I have just changed the blade on my sharpener so everything sharpens well!

My mum loves them, too. She managed to get the 72 set in a sale.

Great picture. Those pencils look really nice and I've added the 72 set to my wishlist.
I absolutely adore Cadburys and Nestle chocolate, but I hate Galaxy chocolate because I find it sickly. Xxx

Thank you. I prefer sickly chocolate as you cannot eat so much in one go - it lasts longer!

It says there is a paid promotion but on the video you say you don’t know where the pencils were sent from. I’m a little confused as to what was the paid promotion?

I tick the box just in case, so that TH-cam does not tell me off because sometimes I am sent free things by companies and I do not always remember to check that box when I use those things. These pencils were a gift from a subscriber.

I have the mondeluz cheaper version also with no dipped ends. They work fine and I am very glad I chose them rather than a super extensive professional brand as the difference to me is marginal and I am not doing professional illustration. They absolutely do what I need, and I appreciate that they do a budget version that has core that are exactly the same as their more expensive better packaged ones. Because they are so affordable I have no problems using them, and because they just came in a cardboard pack there is nothing fancy to spoil. They sharpen well, I have had no broken cores, and they seem really nice to use. Koh-I-Noor is a company I recognise from childhood, over quite a long life I have had many of their products.

@@lindyashford7744 It is great that you have found pencils that work well for you, makes it more enjoyable if you like your pencils but know you can replace them without breaking the bank.
