Wonderful colouring. I did a tutorial with you for a robin in Maria Trolle Moon Valley and I used my Castle Arts warm grey light, and the raw and dark umbers. It was the first time I had attempted using pencil strokes to denote feathering. I have since coloured a larger robin (in the same book) and using the same colours and technique and I was really pleased with how it turned out. Thank you Rachel x

Hi Rachel beautiful colouring in.. we have soarows here in Australia back in the day British people on the boat brought them here they are quite lovely birds.. budgies I use to breed them the one u said had blue feet that’s a male boys have blue nose on top of beak the girls are a grey colour thank you for sharing ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx

Thank you Rachel, this is my favourite book, which I bought after watching your flip-through. I haven't coloured any of the minis yet so it will be nice to follow them here. Your use of the earth green on the snail was a stroke of genius! I don't like snails but he looked quite cute! PS please don't stop wittering. 🐌

This is beautiful. I like how you have coloured the leaves, it is a bit different and I think they have turned out lovely. I would like to give this a go. I am thinking whether there is a page in my Rita Berman Lande book with big berries and little berries where I can try what you have done here and on your previous video. Looking forward to part 3. Glad it is Friday tomorrow, I haven't managed any colouring yet this week 😥 I took Mum to the dentist after work and then for some shopping, we were naughty and treated ourselves to some cakes from Marks & Spencer 😋 xx

I am looking for a set like that to help prolong the life of my expensive pencils. I burn through them lol and my habit gets a bit expensive using Caran Dache. I like the small set of chromaflows. The tin is a bit suspect but I can deal with that.

The berries look great, as you built up the layers and then the shadow they really began to pop. I haven't tried this technique yet of colouring them differently, I always do them the same colour, so will have to give it a go ❤😊

There's a strange, almost whoosing noise in the background, like the ocean, or traffic far off, I know it's in the video because it stops when I hit pause, very weird! So glad I hadn't done this picture yet! I haven't really done much in Enchanted Forest, to be honest, maybe 15 or so pages.

I’m guessing many viewers tell you this - but, I definitely carry on a conversation with you while coloring. “The scraper is called a squeegee.” “Darker colors in hair are called lowlights.” Etc. Always a pleasure to chat and color with you!

What pencils are you using?

Remember please that not all of us will get tired of seeing the same pictures from Johanna's new book, or others, colored over and over, since some of us don't follow a lot of other colorists. You are the only one I follow regularly, so I won't know what others have done. We can choose who we want to color along with! Food for thought?! I love how this picture came out!

T'is weird not doing any coloring on Mondays now, so yay a coloring day for me today! lol
