Hope you enjoy your tour 😀 one love 💕💕💕
Thank you for showcasing our steel pan..I loved every minute of our Tasty T and T!!
The ATM gives the best exchange rates, Also always tell them you want to be charged in the local currency when you use your card to purshase things.. If you don't do that then they can give you a bad exchange rate.
when are you returning to africa?
The streets are super clean and friendly people too like Bajans
Trinidad's water front is really beautiful indeed.
It's Soca music not soccer..
Nuff respect
Wow,Port of Spain must be the most beautiful city in the Caribbean.
No disrespect to others cities.
It really is compare to others I hv seen much more organized even with the street venders ❤🇹🇹
It is...they got that oil money,so things a cheaper and alot more affordable than many Carribean islands..
Let's give Joshua credit for showing AT around some parts of Port of Spain. He is not not a professional tour guide. Thank you Joshua for helping African Tigress.
💯💯💯
Wow! Biggup to our AMAZING Bajan people who returned African Tigress's bank card‼‼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
T&T is an amazing place
The top place in caribbean for bird watching over 400 birds species are found here
I must admit, I am pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Port of Spain. The city is splendid…
The water taxi takes you to our second city of San Fernando there are other Ferries which will take you to Tobago.
I’m sure you’re getting sensory overload from the relaxing, slow pace of Barbados to the vibrant, hustle and bustle of Trinidad 😂
I am so proud of my country Trinidad and Tobago ❤
Good job African Tigress 👍
Your country is very beautiful, i am an west African watching it from Germany.🇬🇭
As someone of Jamaican heritage, we should be proud of Trinidad wow what an Island
African Tigress thank you for visiting my country and loving it so much 🇹🇹 🇹🇹 🇹🇹. And thank you so much for playing our National Anthem at the beginning of your vlog. 💃💃💃👍👍👍🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉
Greetings from Brazil.
I'm astonished how much Port of Spain has improved in the past 23 years. It seems to be very much cleaner and more organized.
I've been there in 2003. During my time there, it wasn't that way.
Nice country, nice people and wonderful landscape.
My favourite Trini foods are pelau and rooti so far.
I miss T&T.
True we also didn't like Trinidad because of that an much more. Also it was shocking to experience racism there by Indians, smh also I have never have seen so many lazy people on Tobago all there fruit where left to rot everywhere 95%, but the nature and beaches where beautiful. I have Never experienced this as a Carribean the fruit rotting not utilizing it/farm. Also the accommodations where not so good to choice from.
@@Melanated4ever , As a foregner black guy, I never experienced racism by Indians there but I remember to see on TV black an indian politicians fighting to each other in the parlament. Not physically, but by speech. I don't know how it looks like nowadays.
@@Melanated4everit depends on where you go in Trinidad. A lot of people will see a small area, especially downtown and think that the whole of Trinidad looks like that. They rarely go to many areas off the main beaten paths. Like in every country, there are many rich and upper middle class areas hidden away in Trinidad. Accommodation, you get what you pay for.
@@Melanated4ever you seem like a negative person in general, so wherever you go, your overall experience, perception as well as reception (how you are recieved) will, in turn, be a negative one. Each country has its flaws, but if all you were able to experience and share about Trinidad are flaws.... that says plenty about you. Just saying.
You've been here for how long to make such as bold conclusion that Tobagonians are Lazy?
Have you been to EVERY inch of Trinidad and Tobago to be able to claim that? Have you met EVERY single Trinbagonian citizen to be able to claim that?
Lol, take a page out of African Tigress' book my friend. She always chooses for positivity to outshine the negativity.
We have sugarcane in our yard, all my life actually. None of us in my home care anymore, because we have had so much sugar cane in out lifetimes, already, that we're honestly fed-up. We aren't lazy for not picking and consuming it, we just had enough of it. Neighbours who love it come and pick when they feel, and I have relatives who love it, I carry for them.
The Jamaat al Muslimeen coup d'état attempt was an attempt to overthrow the government of Trinidad and Tobago, instigated on Friday, 27 July 1990. Over the course of six days, Jamaat al Muslimeen, a radical extremist Islamist group, held hostages (including Prime Minister A. N. R. Robinson and other government officials) at the Red House and at the headquarters of the state-owned national television broadcaster, Trinidad and Tobago Television (TTT). On 1 August, the insurgents surrendered. They were charged with treason, but were ordered released by the Court of Appeal. Twenty four people were killed and many more were injured in the coup. This city is being rebuilt as we speak. By 2030 Trinidad will be unrecognisable. The country has come a long way since the devastation.
Have someone take you to the "breakfast shed" next to the water front for pilau meal and other delicious Trinidad 🇹🇹 food. 😊
Next time! I will try
From a Trinidadian living in America. Welcome to my country of birth. Enjoy! Have fun. I like the way you articulate the history and culture. I like the way Frances described our women. Beautiful indeed.
The Breakfast Shed has a variety of local Trini dishes including Pelau
Beautyful Trinidad. Greating from Suriname!
African Tigress:Thanks you so much for this new video today’s from Port of Spain,Trinidad and Tobago to shows these high rises buildings or skyscrapers with some cruise ships in 2023❤❤❤
I love the energy and vibrancy of Trinidad and Tobago. The music they play everywhere is so lively and joyful. It makes me want to visit these islands and have fun. 😊
Hi African Tigress I am so glad that one of my kind Barbadians found your card and was so gracious to get it to your friend and you received and can get on with your adventure showing us the beauty of Trinidad, have a safe Saturday and Happy Christmas to you hope enjoy your Christmas there.❤❤❤❤
As a Jamaican so embarrassed to say Trinidad city is much cleaner and developed . Nice to see how beautiful and clean the city is.
And Trinidadianz are more intelligent, they are not that ignorant and egotistical like a lot of Jamaicans...
@ashleyogarro2686 why you had to go there? She was paying a compliment for a change. Why the smoke? When it ain't call 4?
@@stillirise7813 Someone needs to be honest,...am I lying?
You sound less intelligent and more egotistical than that. Another jealous non Jamaican
Glad to see Yardie being honest in its comparison 🎉 but im seeing many great development happening in Kingstons improvements are happening fast
Whatttt African Tygress, you touch down in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. 🇹🇹. Welcome to my beautiful country ❤️. Ah love that.
thank you love it
If you build it they’ll come! ❤❤❤ Welcome to T&T. Wodemaya was just there showcasing the best of the best in the Caribbean. Be sure to visit our sister island, Tobago. 🇹🇹
African Tigress:I really LOVE this new remarkable video so much from Port of Spain,Trinidad & Tobago to shows these amazing places & Landmarks in December of 2023❤❤❤
Please someone take African tigress to the pitch lake in Trinidad, bring her to the other parts of Trinidad. I wish I was in Trinidad to bring her around.
Agreed.
Also, the Caroni bird sanctuary and devil's woodyard in the South
Very great respect to our late prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Mr Patrick Manning who was responsible for making the city of Port of Spain the modern hub that it is today .
This is joke to what he wanted to do. He wanted to reclaim Laventille and Beetham and the Dump site and NP headquaters to extend Port of Spain boundaries. He wanted to significantly modernize and enlarge Port of Spain but he lost re-election in 2010.
Absolutely correct ..ViSioN 2020
I can't believe he passed on he was a fantastic Prime Minister! RIP.
Princess, the dish Joshua was eating is called "bhaji" rice. "Bhaji" is the lndian and local name for amaranth, also called terere or mchichi in Kenya. It's also called spinach.
In Jamaica it's called callalloo bush, but callalloo bush in T&T refers to a different plant, taro leaves.
Trinidad is the tops, there's a lot Jamaica can learn from Trinidad wow
I love Trinidad🇹🇹 very beautiful and well organized country... I can't wait to visit one day... From Ghana 🇬🇭
can you help me any person purpose of travelling Trinidad and Tobago
@@m.s.hossain4842 no please, I am not a traveling agent.. Perhaps you should check within your country for agencies...
Am feeling sorry for Tigress all that walking for food 😮😢
Bem moderno Trinidad e tobago 🇹🇹
Trinidad and Tobago very beautiful island and nice friendly people. God bless Trinidad and Tobago.
Please get a good guide. Someone who knows their way around the country! Because you are missing out!
African Tigress:Congratulations to you for touring Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago with this young lovely guy taking you many places in Trinidad & Tobago today’s in great joy & peace 2023❤❤❤
If you are looking for a safe fete (party), during the carnival season, go to Army Fete on February 2. It is held at the savannah around 9pm. Security will be provided mainly by soldiers. Please don't wear any camouflage at the fete, it is illegal. Tickets are selling right now.
Why people keep mentioning Wode Maya? I bet you are getting tired of hearing people bringing up another vloggers brand. When you're trying uplift your brand
Thank you for visiting and showcasing my beautiful trini. Hope you enjoyed. Thanks also to my SDA brother Francois, for taking you around. Very pleasant of him.. true Trini.❤
African Tigress:I can’t wait to watch your next video soon this weekend or next week from Tobago the second remarkable island in the country December of 2023❤❤❤

From Union Island one of the Grenadines Island of St Vincent. I love Tobago and Trinidad.
My country looks so beautiful. ❤😍🤩🇹🇹🇹🇹
Hi my brother Joshua,so proud of you for helping T.A, I am also S.D.A,Tigress is in good hands.👍
That guy doesn’t explain properly
Originally in colonial period and afterwards the street was dominated by Chinese merchants in small trade imports and became a shopping area for cheap goods and groceries. Supports the economic needs of Laventille, Belmont and environs. Chinese government has capitalized on this history. Check names on stores behind vendors.
Talking about the road runner,,Tigress hahaha ,,you are naughty❤It reminds you of Southern Africa…Zimbabwe in particular,,It’s that free range village chicken better known for its speed,,You have to chase it for a mile or two before you can catch it,,The meat is very delicious and more tasty than the ordinary farm broiler,,,That’s why we jokingly call it a road runner ,,😂😂😂😂
I love Trinidad and Tobago,it so beautiful and the streets are so clean,,Thank you Tigress,,Love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 🇿🇼 🇿🇼
Thank you Joshua for staying on the positive aspects of our nation.
Girl you would have been better off traveling by yourself. This guy is walking you around in circles.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
51:39 African Princess, the taxi driver told you that we love we soca. Why is music everywhere a problem? It's a staple of the culture!
It’s a problem for her videos when it come to copyright infringement smh damn learn bro 🤦♂️
People from other island stop hating on Trinidad and Trinidad people us Trinidad people don't short of nothing
Why do people keep saying Nicholas Tower is the tallest building in T&T? It is not!!!! The Waterfront Plaza's tallest building is the tallest building in T&T 26 stories.
That's because people refuse to update their knowledge lol. It once was but it was overtaken. I know they had plans of building a 30 story building on the Salvatorie site but idk if that's still on the cards
@@ricko2301 I heard and I wanted to know if it would still happen myself.
I think I can easily drive in this country without any problems. The waterfront is beautiful & it can easily be mistaken to be an Australian waterfront.
Are you from Australia , are you an Ausie ?
Yeah, it reminds me of Bundy.
Hey glad Africans are miggle with us finally we afro people are changing
There is food all around POS, your guy took you on a 'tour'???
Oh! African Tigress, Love Seeing You Enjoying & Living A Golden Life! Go Lady Go!😊
The avenue, have all kinds of food. I think your friend does not know Port of Spain for eating. He does not eat out
African Tigress:I wish you safe journeys & good luck to you always on your remarkable journey in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago this weekend with this young guy taking you around in December of 2023❤❤❤Happy upcoming Christmas to you in great joy & peace 2023❤❤❤
Nice country to be visited 😎❤
The water taxi doesn't take you to Tobago, it takes you to San Fernando in south Trinidad. Cheers
Noted
You should have also told her there's other boats that take people to Tobago.
@@AFRICANTIGRESS- While The Water Taxi Service transports passengers from The Capital City of Port-Of-Spain to The Southern City of San Fernando and back, The Inter-Island Fast-Ferry Service that consists of such seafaring vessels as The Galleons Passage, The A.P.T. James and The Buccoo Reef catamarans, are responsible for transporting passengers and cargo from Port-Of-Spain in Trinidad to The Port of Scarborough in Tobago, and vice versa.
Additionally, there also exists an air-bridge that transports passengers, via Trinidad and Tobago's national airline - Caribbean Airlines, from Trinidad's Piarco International Airport to Tobago's Crown Point International Airport, and back.
You are present in a Beautiful, Vivacious, Vibrant, Multi- Cultural, Well-Developed and Multi-Ethnic Twin-Island Republic; so take your time to savour The Sights, The Tastes and The Sounds - all of them in copious quantities.
Welcome African Tigress, and Enjoy....!!!!!
The ones that go to Tobago are called interisland ferries
I love this country food and music.
On thing about Africans on the continent and in the diaspora is that you will always make friends. I LOVE that about US!
They say Trinidad 🇹🇹 is a paradise.
She could have gone excellent city centre for food. He had her going so far. Food is all over.
Lol that's one thing about Trinidad. You never have to walk far for food. You could throw a rock and hit food.
His route was so ridiculous. They could have literally gotten food at any of the many food courts they passed instead of taking her on an unnecessary adventure.
8:18 - Our national dish is actually Crab and calalloo officially, not pelau BUT because of our cultural diversity, we can't pick one to agree on.
Water front down town beautiful good video vlog tigress
So, how come T&T have managed to spend their income from oil and gas wisely, whilst Nigeria and co disgracing themselves?
Trinidad is democratic, Nigeria is Kleptocratic.
Corruption
@islandgirl3330 Really? Don't you think low IQ of the people in leadership is the major factor?
Nigeria is in Africa!
And you know Africa politicians and corruption, they only good in blaming America and Europe
Because Nigeria is a country of over a hundred million people. The money has been spent but only in certain places just like Trinidad lot's of places in Trinidad is dearth poor gettho that hasn't been tuch
From all that oil money
For a country with such small population. Those slum should have been demolished years ago
This man Joshua is not a good guide. He is not knowledgeable about Port of Spain. It's not the Catholic Cathedral. It's the Anglican Cathedral. He had just come from downtown Port of Spain and is carrying the lady in a walk around and she is hungry, tired and sweating. I'm surprised she didn't dump him.
Thanks to this guy for assisting you. However much of the info he shared was inaccurate 😢. He took you too far for food. Enjoy TT!
I was saying the exact same thing, he passed all the food courts on Frederick Street and ended up on Park Street and still return to Frederick Street. African Tigress needs to meet better guides.
He didn't tell her the tallest building in Trinidad is at the waterfront
@@paulfrancis253Yes, he did. Maybe he was hard to understand. He also mentioned the 2nd tallest.
@SW-ck3pm lol he said the tallest building is Nicholas towers lols
👍🏾🙏🏾 🏴🇸🇪🇹🇹
Not true....there were restaurants on Frederick St at the malls on the first floor!!! Many 'food courts ''! Above Excellent mall, Aboutique mall , etc
True
Watching from Nairobi,kenya❤
Beautiful Trinidad and Tobago. Love from Jamaica.
Love you too .. 🇯🇲 🇹🇹 ❤
@woody230bal Love you too!! It is so refreshing to finally find a Jamaican sending us mutual love in these youtube comments. I swear, plenty Jamaican comments I come across, under any T&T videos lately, are really rude or competitive as if we are competing against eachother. We've always had big love and respects for eachother, so I don't get that. Jamaican music especially is reallyyyyy loved and supported in T&T.
Much Love from Trinidad! I hope African Tigress visits y'all real soon! I love Montego Bay!
@jesusislove328 been through that myself, but I know the real Jamaicans and they know us. You only get that kinda negative stuff from a foolish type uninformed Jamaican with complex issues, pay them no mind.
Endorsed. Looks quite similar to Kingston's waterfront in lots o ways... Fulljoyed this video
@@oranewebley938Not at all similar looks completely different to Kingston waterfront firstly the buildings are much taller and modern its more closer to the sea; there no bathing its waters more calm as its on the Gulf of Paria which also a port area for cargo and water transportation has a cargo and passenger ports
Very different to Kingston waterfront which has limited access for cruiser or Cruise ship
This is crazy. There are eating places way downtown where you came from. The cathedral by Woodford Square was the Anglican cathedral. The Roman Catholic cathedral is situated at the east end of Brian Lara Promenade. There are lots of restaurants in Port-of-Spain and Woodbrook. The population of Trinidad and Tobago is about 1.4 million now. African Tigress, there is a lot of information on the Internet about why the Trinidad government make certain decisions, e.g., Chinatown. I appreciate this guy assisting you; that was very kind of him, but he lacked a lot of knowledge about the place. Please plan to hire an officisl tour guide to give you a day's service.
Next time link up with a professional tour guide.
But there is a food area there at Les Femmes dy Chalet.. on the waterfront !!! You missed it. Surely you would have found pelau!!!
Trinidad is an oil country...i am not surprised. ❤
Oil is old, LNG is thee lick. Everbody got oil these days. Natural gas is the future. 🇹🇹👍🏾💪🏾💯
beautiful and modern city
He sounds like a He is a loafer he made u walk d hole street on empty
If you want to take a cruise ship 🛳️, you should take the Uber soca cruise or the Jamrock Reggae cruise.
Hi yes Jamaica and Trinidad have loud music playing on the streets day a d night none stop
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🇯🇲
Goodday, I'm so glad you got your card
Hahaha ...music everywhere in Trinidad ..can't escape!lol
Tigress, get someone to take you on "The Avenue"
You could if got pelau. On the waterfront. At the breakfast shed. You saw it in the distance. But you said that area was closed. There is so much food places in the city. U have to link up with people that know the places to visit. Not because some people live there. Trust me. They don’t know some of the best places to visit. That guy was nice to take you around. But still was not knowledgeable enough. Please do not leave Trinidad without visiting Ariapita Ave. it’s not far from the waterfront. It’s called the Ave. there lots of restaurants and night life on the Ave. There is lKenyan restaurant there. If I am not mistaken. Then visit Chagaunas , Arima and San Fernando. Take the water taxi to San Fernando.
I'm just curious, what is there to do or see in Arima?
@@ricko2301I hope your question is genuine or you're not trying to be sly. There is plenty to do in ARIMA, its a bustling borough... to me its not far off from San Fernando, I frequent there and it really has city potential! Its also our richest community re. the first peoples as well as the home town of Lord Kitchener. I am from Sangre Grande. Also, beautiful places to visit, inclusive of where mentioned above, are Princes Town and Point Fortin. Point for its location as our southern borough, Princes Town for reasonable shopping and the experience... I find the Triangle and the way that town is set up is like a European Village with a square in the centre and all the central buildings surrounding it.
I love my country it's a beautiful place . You are doing a wonderful vlog ..
Please try not to get miss guided by some of these guys who likes to walk with you be careful .
EXCELLENT 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 ..Fottage of Trinidad ❤❤❤
I wish that you would visit St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. It's almost carnival time for Christmas.
There’s soooo much to see in Trinidad alone
I enjoy watching your videos on my home country Trinidad and Tobago. I hope you enjoy yourself. Did you go to Maracas and try the Bake and Shark as yet? Enjoy the land that invented Calypso, Steel pan, Soca and Limbo.
This tour guide's favorite answer is : "no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no..." 🤣🤣🤣
Up north is nice , i wish they did some cleaning from central down to south. As someone from deep sound, there's lots of high grass.
@AfricanTigress! Sombe is one of my favorite vegetables. 😍😍😍😍👏
Listen, the guy is lovely but he is giving you wrong info. San Fernando is the biggest city in Trinidad. Chaguanas is the most populous town (not yet a city). Port of Spain is the capital but it's not the biggest nor is it the most populous.
One of the richest island in the caribbean
Where is ur Sun Hat? Well done for a beautiful showing of T&T. Am so enjoying ur blog.
Like the road runner wanted to take her on a journey. Food left right and center and he only walking and talking.
Hahaha I was wondering too😅...lol
Your food places all seems to be closed or closing up. They also seems to provide breakfast and lunchtime meal only.
Good to see you in Trinidad
Lovely place.
I am in my parents Island at the moment from UK for 4 months enjoying every moment
It’s some fine men there omg it’s my dream to go there
AFRICAN TIGRESS welcome to the country of my birth.
