It's so exciting to see that you're in Tobago now! I can't wait to see all the incredible adventures you'll experience on that stunning island. I'm praying for your quick healing so you can explore every nook and cranny of Tobago and share your adventures with us. Jienjoy sana, Lynn!
African Tigress - Make sure to return on one of The Catamarans - The APT JAMES or THE BUCCOO REEF. Additionally take 02 Gravol tablets 30 minutes before sailing; and minimize your eating. Do this and you would enjoy a beautiful ride that combines sleep and maritime sightseeing. Pay heed to this advice and your trip back to Trinidad would be wonderful. Enjoy Beautiful Tobago...!!!!
Tigress you should write a book. You have a great aptitude to do so. I loved the way you described your sea sickness experience. I felt as if I was right beside you on the boat. Hugs and love from Raymond
A T, so sorry the journey wasn’t a pleasant one for you because of sea sickness. Hope you recover quickly. Thanks for sharing your journey 🫶🏽nuff respect 🇯🇲
Sending hugs to you sorry that happened to you 😢 get some ginger tea or mint tea to settle your stomach. I pray that you feel better. And thanks for showing my beautiful country trinidad and tobago 🇹🇹. And your channel is amazing be blessed.❤
Take grovol it's sold in any pharmacies I cannot travel to Tobago without it also take a grovol if u are planning on doing the glass bottom boat to nylon pool as well
Next time take some Gravol tablets before you sail. It helps. Sorry you got sick. Get the Gravol. Going through the Dragons Mouth and the Bocos can be a challenge for most people. 😊
Halo African Tigress. Sorry for that ferry bad incident in Tubago. Me I am residing here in Kenya. Even me I have following you from Africa, Asia, Europe and now Carebean. And I have downloaded many of your videos. You always inspire Me and Others because of your educational adventures. Keep up and GOD leads you always in your work 👍
AT thanks for taking us a long big up uh self ❤ I love how you respect the Uber driver and ask if he wants to be on in ur video a lot of TH-camr don’t respect people space One Love from cold 🥶 and snow ❄️ Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Sorry about your experience. I've never travelled on the ferry to Tobago. I was warned by my family that it's not a good experience with a lot of people getting sea sickness. That's why we travelled by air when I went there in December. Hope that you are feeling better. You will enjoy it. I certainly did.
So sorry AT, but I hope your trip will be worth it. I'm a Trini and I've never been to Tobago. But the next time I'm in Trinidad I will be going, always wanted to. Have lots of fun and food 🥑🥝.
It seems you are very close to Fort George. Visit fort George, walk to the "I Love Tobago" sign, walk through the city of Scarborough. Tourist area is Crown Point close to the airport - walk to Store Bay, Swallows and Pigeon Point. I recommend you go stay in Buccoo (for the goat and crab races) and for the country area stay in Castara and Charlottesville
The scent of the boat together, the roughness of the seas, and the duration of the travel can cause sea sickness. Even some locals feel it too, we are not immune. I suggest next time to take some gravel. It helps settles your stomach and the drowsy side effects can help you sleep through out the journey. I hope you continue to enjoy our country. Both Islands have thier own unique charms.
African Tigress:Thanks you so much for your new remarkable videos this week to shows these amazing places in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago in February of 2024❤❤❤
Tks for all your videos. You should have taken one or two gravol tablets and that would have helped a lot. Going through what we call the Bocas is very rough. Going back to Trinidad is much calmer.
I know how you feel. That happened to me when I was in Puerto Rico. I took a cargo as well from Fajardo to Culebra. I vomiting all the way there and I pissed on my self as well and I wasn’t the only one. They also told me that I should’ve taken the bigger ferry but I didn’t know about it. I hope you feel better
African Tigress:Congratulations to you for your remarkable videos in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago to shows these amazing places on the remarkable Caribbean Island country in 2024❤❤❤
Sea sickness is real, I’m lucky I’ve never had it but if you do get it, the trick is not to eat anything before going on boat rides.. I did a sail boat ride once for a week out at sea on a old fashioned sailing boat.. when I finally got on land, I got land sickness because my body got used to the motion/ movement of the boat at sea.. it’s crazy how that works.
Went to Tobago in 2013 and stayed at Sandy Point Beach Club. Broke my leg the second day there. Love their curry chicken. We ate at Jemma’s Seaview Kitchen and enjoyed every bite.
I would be very lovely traveling back by the ferry. Very smooth. Just make sure it's the APT James or the Buccoo Reef that's traveling. Sorry for your experience coming up on that vessel. You should have find out how is the ride first, and what could have made it a comfortable one. Hope to see you while here. 😊Do have a fantastic time.
Im from Speyside. Make sure to visit nyloon pool, rain Forest, fort George, argyle waterfalls, kings bay, store bay, pigeon point, Charlottesville at the suck hole restaurant, jemma tree housr restaurant in Speyside etc. Also try some of our traditional sweets such as bene ball, paw paw balls, tamarin balls, sugar cake, etc
Happy you visited Tobago. Next time you have to take Gravol pill to prevent sea sickness, however, you need to take them before the ferry pulls out. That way you will be able to eat. Going back to Trinidad you will not feel that way because the boat is going with the tide but when going to Tobago it is riding against the tide. That is my best explanation of it. Hope you enjoyed your stay and will visit again.
AT you NEVER take the Galleons Passage. Only APT James or Buccoo Reef. They are larger and designed by specialist Fast Ferry builders. The Galleons was a fill in that should have never been
Afrian tigress the boat you took was the cargo boat the other boat takes two and a half hours.where you came off the boat I live right there on the other side.i live in NY for the past 35yrs .I hope you enjoy the plane is about 15 to20 minutes.
I have never taken the boat to Tobago, but I always hear the same experience you experienced. You will enjoy the island as the guy explained to you. I will be visiting there in the next two months. My niece told me to take a travel tablet if ever I want to try it. Blessings to you and enjoy your trip. Be safeand look forward to your vlogs from there.🎉❤
AFRICAN TIGRESS when i go wigh ferry from experience always take gravol with you before you get on the ferry then eat you will sleep and feel great first time i travel the same thing happened dont matter which boat you travel with always take the gravol tablet you will not trow up i like how you cook the green banana with colaz smith tv and his team be safe ❤good luck
Hopefully, you are feeling better, and thank you for visiting Tobago. It's just a pity you were not able to take in the full beauty of Tobago, just the place to wind down after a hectic Carnival . Maybe on your next visit, you'll get a chance to experience tranquillity at its best. Enjoy the rest of your stay🙏🏾🇹🇹
Hi amazing African Tigress. While you are still in the carribean, I would love to see Haiti as well. I believe it's a diaspora african country full of amazing people🙂. You are doing great
Haiti has a rich history but suffers so much. It is the first place that slaves fought in the 17 century and became free, they lead the road to freedom and opened their door to other slaves, and slave escaping their country on arriving in Haiti automatically became free and a citizen. Other slaves looked up to Haiti and because of them all other slaves in the islands and the Americas fought for their freedom.
Most people do not get sick you will see them eating drinking and walking about, the sea could be rough sometimes however when I use the ferry calm waters or not I take a gravol I have never gotten sick everyone experience is different, many use the boat regularly and they never complain
Pole sana AT. I suppose that's part of the travel experiences. Good thing is that you've enlightened some of us who might want to take the trip. ❤. Apart from that, looks like a beautiful island from the little that i have seen.
Please get your rest AT. lf you are going to use the ferry heading back to Trinidad, I suggest that you purchase Gravol to help with the sea sickness. The journey back to Trinidad is not bad. I am so sorry that you experienced this. Enjoy our twin island Tobago and what it has to offer, I know you would ❤️ it
Sorry about your situation. As everyone said, take gravol as you get on the boat, additionally try not to eat anything before going on the boat. The trip is jus 4 hours to Tobago so if you can just hold out till then.
Welcome to Tobago, African Tigress. I sorry you had a difficult journey in this Galleon!s Passage. It's the worst of the vessels coming to Tobago. But what you should have done is to take a motion sickness table fir the journey. Coming up.is bad, but going back is smooth sailing. Hope to see you while here
i exprienced the same thing while i was travelling on a ferry from dar es salam to zanzibar, i was supposed to spend 3 days in zanzibar but ended up spending 2 weeks postponing because of the trauma.

Oh African Tigress I feel it for you please go to the pharmacy and buy yourself some motion sickness medicine (Antiemetic tablets) those ships are not cruise ships I suffer with motion sickness when I go to Tobago I took my pill as I enter the ship and I slept until the ship landed watching you from Florida Trinidad is where I born enjoy the beaches
So imagine being on a boat chained to a platform with people above you and Below you, using the bathroom on you, for 40 days. That is what our Ancestors had to endure during the Middle Passage. ❤️🖤💚💛😢

Thank you for all your awesome videos of Trinidad and Tobago ❤
I don't eat when sailing to Tobago, it helps me to avoid feeling sick plus i uses salt prunes and chew gums to ease the upset feeling.
Thanks for sharing 👍 Trinidad and Tobago it was like being there on vacation, From the USA
They sell stuff in the port to take before sailing to avoid sea sickness. It works well
Fresh ginger is best for sea sickness
As soon as I saw you getting on the ferry I knew it wasn’t going to be good. The ride between Trinidad and Tobago is a rough one and many people get sick. I’m Trini living in the US and I’m thoroughly enjoying your videos.
Only on the smaller ferries.
It's so exciting to see that you're in Tobago now! I can't wait to see all the incredible adventures you'll experience on that stunning island.
My first Caribbean friend was from Tobago, and we've been in touch for over 20 years now. Such an awesome friend, and I do not doubt that you'll enjoy the company of the friendly Tobagans.

Sending hugs to you sorry that happened to you 😢 get some ginger tea or mint tea to settle your stomach. I pray that you feel better. And thanks for showing my beautiful country trinidad and tobago 🇹🇹. And your channel is amazing be blessed.❤
Anyone can become sea sick according to the roughness o the sea.
The Galeons Passage ferry is more used for Cargo whilst the other ferries are more passenger oriented. 😊
Another tip is to get a seat in the Mid Ship area, the rocking is less
Seeing your home or village on youtube is amazing
I’m glad you’ve reached Tobago!! Beautiful!!
P.S. Hope you feel better real soon!!
Tigress you're walking my street, the island of my birth I'm excited 🇹🇹🇺🇸
Take grovol it's sold in any pharmacies I cannot travel to Tobago without it also take a grovol if u are planning on doing the glass bottom boat to nylon pool as well
Going back by boat is going to be a smoothe ride. Since you are going to be going in the direction of the waves. I am from Tobago, I Know.❤
Gravol to go... It is much smoother coming back... The bigger boats handle the waves much better... Someone should have warned you....
It is not the fault of anyone, especially if one is unaccustomed to travelling on the sea.
Next time take some Gravol tablets before you sail. It helps. Sorry you got sick. Get the Gravol. Going through the Dragons Mouth and the Bocos can be a challenge for most people. 😊
It's great for Trinbagonians that that T&T seems to have great roads.
I always wonder why people think we don't have good roads. We have a pitch lake.
I had that on a boat ride around montserrat the most gut wrenching sea sickness..never ever

African Tigress the waters are usually choppy at certain times of the year especially traveling northerly direction.
Next time take gravol. When coming back it is a different ride and try not to watch the water. We went on the buccoo reef boat
So imagine being on a boat chained to a platform with people above you and Below you, using the bathroom on you, for 40 days. That is what our Ancestors had to endure during the Middle Passage. ❤️🖤💚💛😢

Oh, okay, I been commenting asking you going to Tobago, hoping you go and show how it's like. I never been in Tobago ✌️

So sorry to hear about your experience, on my last trip to Tobago I had a similar experience too but on my way back to Trinidad I took gravol tablets and slept the whole trip. Enjoy your stay in Tobago though.
There Anti-nausea tablets that are prescription.

Those Bocas waters can be a challenge when heading towards Tobago. You will however be fine if you chose to travel back to Trinidad on boat.
