How to use the support brim setting in Cura to get better adhesion of the supports to the print bed.

The support brim settings expand your first layer of the support to make it more secure. Great video Chris. I used to hate supports, but once you get the hang of it, they are an extra little challenge puzzle to solve, which is fun. Love the series!
Yeah its a puzzle on building blocks if you don't get the base down right none of the other settings will work. That is going to show greatly in this next video. I almost bit off more than i can chew with this series. Its a huge topic and i wasn't planning on having over 4 videos on it. But i don't want to partially cover it. I've got a ton of questions on how to do it. I want to make sure i'm helping everyone that has asked and ever will. I'm ranting....passionate teacher to a fault... I don't like to leave out details for understanding.

I love how you opened with this video, because I also have said certain things to my printer. I both love and hate it. At times it works and I love my printer but when it doesn’t work, I want to throw my printer out the window.

I worked out today if you turn off support brim only on outside it will put the brim on the inside of tree supports. and gives them support too.
Instead of adding the whole model brim you can increase the size of the support by increasing Support Horizontal Extention
For whatever reason i can't for the life of me. Get the support brim feature to work with tree supports. It only works when i enable Brim in the build plate adhesion menu.

I upgraded my ender 5 to direct drive, and now the brins are weird. They don't look like a perfect first layer.
What about Rafts ?
I was saving rafts for another tutorial there is a lot to them.
