@@bigal1968ful its because of Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station not the port. EG R446 and exemption from the CAA is required to fly there. But lets assume that was in place. But the operator turns away before flying into the FRZ.
@@ajedroneservices5158 true but only in CE mode .... In FCC mode, the signal is strong even 4 km away from the drone, and in manual mode, it has more power.
I took my drone about .6 of a mile over water before i started to lose signal, great flight :). you have a new subscriber

Its because of the port entrance to the river Tees. There is a no fly zone but Drone assist doesn't really say why.

Assuming your avata 2 is still in CE mode ? And you've not applied the HAM hack, the range of avata 2 in CE is simply dangerous
