How To: Potion Glitch in Palace of Darkness

Did a triforce hunt race last night, went to POD after Aga/moon pearl on pyramid.
Big key in the shooter room chest, didn’t have the bow, but I had the hammer. Didn’t do this glitch because I’d never tried it before - so I was essentially locked out.
Turns out if I had done it, I would’ve had the rest of the dungeon open minus the boss... and 3 pieces accessible to me!

I just pulled it out - I heard about it this week when I was stuck on a Gravity Jump / Dagonal Bombjump without Space or Hi Jump on Maridia Room hidden behind tGraplling Spot, nor did I had the Bow. It proceed to give me the Flippers and Omen spot for the frigging boots! Maridia had the Golden Glove. gggggg (I think...).

Does the breakable doorway need to be out of view before using the bottle, or can you use it anywhere in the room as long as you’re pressing right and y?

You want to press left and Y, from what I understand, not right and Y.
