- It was just a few nights before Christmas, and all through the Four Cylinder building, not a person was stirring not even an engineer. An office Christmas party was about to begin, and everyone gathered around, except for Christoph Waltz, who was nowhere to be found... Follow Christoph Waltz trying to escape The BMW Christmas party, encountering familiar faces including Alexa Chung and Supercar Blondie.
The party in the film is a fictional party and was not BMW’s Christmas party. All participants involved in the production of the video were tested for covid-19 and have followed the regional covid-19 regulations.

200% True. The days of the E36 325i convertible and its sublime design and iconic shape compared to the monstrosity of the new X5 electric, a total design shambles. BMW has gone downhill on the X series bigtime.

I'd like to see more production like back in the day of BMW Films. Those were great! The car was basically the main character.

Yeah I just can not get my head around that overstated grill, there is nothing appealing about that design, a BMW should have a quality of elegance in its design, much like the older Jaguars had untill 2009.

But the grill is the worst!
The early 2000's BMW shorts were incredible, as were the cars for the time. This "film" twenty years later really captures the company's change since then.

We went from Madonna in M5s to Xmas parties and EVs
Back then they (=marketing) were not ashamed of their v8 engines. Did not see the sheer driving pleasure in the huge EV driving Waltz home.
Great they still have some engineers who are allowed to create driver focussed cars.

The role Waltz got could've been played by me, the story is just not compelling and we got like less than 5 seconds of actual BMW footage 😂😂

I Never watch car Ads. Because they just show me their fancy features. It’s all about selling and selling. Now this AD, I watched in fully length and it was just great to watch from beginning to the end. More ADs should be like this. Bring values to their video not just a sell pitch. This is some fun screen writing as well lol.

It is to engage the indicators - this is to show others that you about to change lane or that you plane to turn off.

My like made 1000! Huge fan of Christopher Waltz. His most iconic performance is portraying an SS officer in Inglorious Bastards. That scene is really a masterclass.

What would have really been great, is if Christopher Waltz took the car that Supercar Blonde was just about to reveal (ripping off cover) and raced it around town, losing anyone following him. He would then circle back to an utterly shocked Supercar Blonde, tossing the keys to her saying with a smile "that was fun" and walk back to his own BMW (any high-end model) and leave while humming something festive.
