BMW is proud to reprise its rich cinematic legacy with the latest film installment THE CALM, a film presented by BMW Films.
From Executive Producer Joseph Kosinski and Director Sam Hargrave, with music from Hanz Zimmer. Pom Klementieff is a mysterious passenger forced to fight her way through a web of obstacles to keep her mission intact.
Until she ends up in the Hotel Martinez in Cannes and meets Uma Thurman..
THE CALM is a short film full of action, twists, and... calmness, including the first-ever silent car chase.

BMW Films was about great story telling and a great BMW as the supporting character, subtly boosting brand image. This is just a commercial for non-driver oriented features with an elementary school plot sprinkled on top.

Motorcycles chasing a car... Nop. Does not work. 😅
It would be even cool if BMW Films did a car chase short film involving a lime green BMW M2 Competition (driven by Tom Cruise and Michelle Monaghan) being chased by several black BMW XMs and iX M50s (driven by heavily-armed and masked agents from a hostile yet unknown autocratic Eastern European country which is located to the east of Ukraine but does not exist at all in real life) and several BMW i5 Touring and X5 police cars on the streets of Lucerne, Switzerland. Could inspire or be inspired by several car chases from the Mission Impossible film series.
BMW is back! Deserving of the brand. Happy to see BMW come back to form after years of low brow content and ugly promotion.
