Hello, I bought the template from your Etsy site yesterday, and put it together last night, in an hour.. Very easy to do and easy to follow template. As always your templates are amazing! Thanks XP :)
"It's just cosplay bro", omg... every video I hear this I just die laughing. Thanks for the videos bud. Ordered this template. Gonna modify it for a futuristic Marine. Cheers!
Xeng I've watched your videos forever and love em. I have a suggestion for a video maybe you could do in the future. Alot of times I am left wondering how exactly you attach zippers or Velcro or elastic straps etc. You usually say what your doing but maybe you could do a video on connection types specifically.? Like options for specific situations wether it be keeping a arm guard on or elstic around the obliques for a chest piece or a zipper right up the back and your opinion on best types of connections for specific parts of armor
Awesome template. Just got done with the helmet and my kids think its awesome. Got your templete for the upper body armor that i am going to start on tonight. Thanks man.
Purchased my second helmet template when I bought this one. getting ready to put together now. thought I'd watch ya one more time before I do. much love for ya XP thanks for the helmet templates. I'll let you know how this one works out for me
so brief update, I now have my helmet together and I can get it on, its rather snug even at 105 % think I shoulda tried it at 110. not gonna decide yet though. very happy with this product. once I finish embellishments and painting I'll put up a pic for you.
xieng prod yeah I know.. I bought your template for the red hood chest plate. It took me a couple times to get the angle right. . Just saying if you showed us on the video the angle you cut it would be cool.. maybe next time or something. . It really helps seeing you do it or show in the camera the angle once it's done. Thanks, huge fan, great work. I look forward to making this mask
My only pet peeve with this (and a lot of ur masks) is that the back of the head shows when the mask is worn. Maybe can u show how to make like a detachable piece to add to the helmet to cover that back.
I wear prescription glasses. can you show how to make one of your helmets to fit eyeglass wearers? I don't know if im going to purchase contacts to wear a helmet once a year or twice a year.
Skullaholix ENT. I believe he uses like a rubber cement glue. It’s the type of glue that comes in a metal tin with the brush attached to the lid. You have to apply the glue and give it a few seconds to become tacky and then you can attach it to other pieces. It’s pretty simple
Hey man, started following you and I'm amazed with your work.. I understand you sell your Red Hood Templates online, the thing is I haven't had any luck finding where to buy EVA foam, if you could point me in the right direction itd be a huge help.. Admire your work man, definitely tutorials I'm going to look to when I undergo my red hood cosplay
Bought templated and made the second helmet.. looks great. Did you form the brow line and the back of the helmet with the heat gun again like you did on the first one?
How do you keep the lenses from fogging up? I made a red hood helmet but every time I put it on its starts fogging up from my breath. Is there a way to stop that? besides cutting out two big holes in the sides to let my breath out
Xieng I noticed you put on the template that it is supposed to fit a 22" head, I went ahead and made the helmet seeing as how it is my head size and it is rather large I am wondering if you know how I could adjust it to fit me better??
Mod Podge bro! Great for sealing foam, paint and all sorts of other awesome uses. It even comes in a spray depending on what you want to do with it. Can be found at your local Walmart near the craft and paints section.
What kind of glue are you using? And you made a really good video here you made that look so easy. I was just going to bounce through and Fries but when you said the the haters said I have a Fathead I laughed my ass off that got you a thumbs-up just from that and then your video is really really well done good job dude. Did you use super glue for everything else too?
Hey Sean, I was wondering if you could make a video on making a Dr.Fate helmet. I live in Jakarta and Jakarta Comic Con is going to be held at the 31st of October. I've got the whole costume down. The Muscle suit, Scale texture spandex, Cape, Gauntlets and boots but, I have no idea how to make the helmet. If you could help, it would be much appreciated.
austin bearebath You think I didn't try that? I modified his Red Hood 2.0 template but the face part never fits. I tried making it over a styrofoam head but it was also too small. I made the template an inch bigger but the edge just becomes super flat. It's frustrating
Im late to the party, I just took the template to staples, and had them print it directly on poster paper total cost was about 3 Dollars. may have to reprint mine though. Apparently my head is bordering on abnormally large.
You're so funny! Great mask by the way! Oh and what glue do you use? One more question; the Red Hood I'm cosplaying as has white eyes in his mask. Any suggestions on what I could use?
Chibii, not sure if you ever got an answer. Im doing kida similar, but since I couldn't find actual white for the eyes Im thinking of going with a mirrored look. was considering cutting my eye pieces out of this. www.amazon.com/Disguise-Costumes-Face-Chrome-Adult/dp/B007S016WQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1507415069&sr=8-1&keywords=mirror+mask+halloween

If you'd show us when you make the slight inward cut that'd be great. It'd help when we buy your template. Seeing how you cut the angle helps
+Jaime Gordoa I do label the lines to be cut in inward angles in the templates

What can you suggest as a alternative to foam ?
Aaron Thomas card stock, which is actually totally different but you can make helmets like ironmans using peprukura
just buy foam its great
Depends on the feel that you are going for. Do you want something hard or soft?(pause)
Davis Jackson something which can be moulded and can be sturdy enough
Frumpy the thing is , I live in the middle East and I don't know where to get foam
Can you do the crappy camera template for this helmet?
Damn Man, just have a custom head form made, you already know how to do it PERFECTLY. Then you know it'll fit.
How do you keep the lenses from fogging up? I made a red hood helmet but every time I put it on its starts fogging up from my breath. Is there a way to stop that? besides cutting out two big holes in the sides to let my breath out
BRUH YOU ROCK.

follow a redhood/deathstroke helmet video and make small alterations, its not that different
austin bearebath You think I didn't try that? I modified his Red Hood 2.0 template but the face part never fits. I tried making it over a styrofoam head but it was also too small. I made the template an inch bigger but the edge just becomes super flat. It's frustrating
austin bearebath I might try Pepakura though.
have you tried shaping the edge with a heat gun
austin bearebath A heat gun makes it look flat. I might have to angle my cuts.
try making a green lantern
you are very honest i'm new
Hy man you kan show me i detail please 🥺
When I print of the Red hood template it prints too small to make a life size helmet, how do you fix this ?
+Celinda Clubb open with Adobe Reader and select "poster" in the print option window. You'll print several pages and piece the patterns together.
Im late to the party, I just took the template to staples, and had them print it directly on poster paper total cost was about 3 Dollars. may have to reprint mine though. Apparently my head is bordering on abnormally large.
