Shiny! Drill some small holes in the grill to the side of the mouth. Then back it with black sheer fabric. Then the lenses won't fog and you will get more air in the helmet.
If your having issues with fogging try an anti fog spray, they are usually sold for motorbike helmets but just spray on the inside of the lenses and it makes it difficult for the fog to build up, that's my experience at least. Toothpaste also works but it's a lengthier process to apply than the store bought sprays.
Nahtan O'lie also… biker trick, either use bar soap or head and shoudlers shampoo and buff it like that… works every time, also he should have added vents (like in a bike helmet$) but its not baf
How he doesn't have a million subs yet is beyond me. Great effort put into these videos. Great prob making and cosplays. Truly a stellar TH-camr and human being. I'm never unsubbing. Love ya Chris!
Red Hood is my favourite Batman character and you just made him look so cool. Definitely one of the best cosplays of Red Hood Iv seen. Congratulations dude. Bloody awesome.
Dude! Red Hood is one of my favorite DC characters of all time! This cosplay is just, like, out of this world! Seriously! Just wow! An incredible cosplay! I cannot stress that enough! Effing amazing!
That helmet is amazing and so mean looking! I just wanted to say thanks Chris because your road to red hood series has inspired me to keep working on my red hood cosplay. Can't wait to see the final photos!
I love watching all your "Red Hood Cosplay" videos, and I'm happy that after all this time you'r still commited to the project Cosplay Chris SHOUT OUT to you man
He should put his own spin on it, cuz punisher is rather simple. I mean a leather jacket and a shirt with a skull. So if he does his magic it'll be way more awesome
Well fucking done man! This is probably one of the most badass cosplays you’ve done and maybe even the best I’ve seen in general. Incredible, simply incredible. I know you usually make final reveal videos but this one deserves a dark cinematic for sure. Keep it up man!
That is fucking sick, dude! So impressed with how everything thing turned out and the final ensemble is incredible. Another successful cosplay and it might be my favorite one yet. So cool.
This is by far my favourite cosplay of all time mate, very well done !! This is the kind of content I love seeing and the reason I subbed mate ! Keep up the awesome work
Damn dude, that’s honestly the absolute best Red hood cosplay I’ve ever seen, it looks like actual Hollywood movie quality. They should put your suit in the Ben affleck Batman saga
Hey, in addition to the extra venting some have suggested, I recommend getting anti fog spray for your lenses, you can find it in some eye glass cleaning kits, and I use it on my Spider-Man lenses, works great!
So cool! But what happened to the air vents? It would really help with the lenses not to fog up. Some very light mesh might work. I think that's what's on my motorcycle helmet.
Hey Chris a tip that may help with the fogging issue in your lenses, try using a dry fresh bar of soap, wipe it all over the lenses and wipe them clean with a dry microfiber cloth. We used this method in the mitary on the range for guys who wore portholes (glasses) to prevent fogging during early morning shoots
Wow dude this is your best costume yet, I really think that this costume is better than the one that DCEU will ever do, great work, keap the good job and continue to dream big
Super impressed with the helmet, it looks awesome, I might just order the templates so I can make my own. I like this design far better then some other red hood cosplays ive seen.
I don't even like DC Comics but this is impressive. I can't wait to see your take on the Infinity Wars Captain America cosplay. Nice job on this, Chris!
WOW! Chris this costume is kick ass, so much better then CW or DC could come up with :) I think they should come to you if they ever decide to make under the red hood.
Chris you should do some tiny holes all around the helmet so that you don't have a heatstroke and some in the front should help with the foging problem
Hey Chris! Nice work on the Red Hood cosplay. Just a quick suggestion or tip for you as far as the fogging up lenses goes. 1. Pick up some fine black screening (like the kind used in windows or screen doors to houses). 2. Drill out actual holes in the silver "vents" on the cheek areas of the mask. 3. Measure and cut appropriate sized pieces of the black mesh screen and glue to the inside of the helmet behind the freshly drilled out "vent" holes. Doing this should allow for proper ventilation of the mask especially because it's close to your nose and mouth which is the source of the fog.
And when you're finished with that feel free to trace out a pattern of your Nathan Drake Uncharted holster and send it my way. Or toss me a shout out. Which ever.
An old trick we used to do in the old days to keep our paintball lenses from fogging was to put a little dish soap on the inside, spread it around and wipe it off. The thin film left behind kept them from fogging. Nowadays we have fog proof lenses so nobody does it anymore, but it still works.
That looks epic! Seeing it with the rest of the costume (upper body of it at least) I had an idea, maybe you could either make resin pieces or even 3D print some "armour panels" that can be attached to the neck piece in segments so it would still allow movement, but would also help to blend the neck and helmet in a bit more? Would also aid in covering where your hair peeks through at the bottom
The whole cosplay looks bloody amazing, the helmet is fantastic for 90% the other 10% is a little gripe-eye hole sizes and colors of the lenses, they would seem cooler other in different color( just my little nitpick)
Looks so awesome! I personally think it looks better with the jacket but it also looks good without. I think with the white streak, "J" brand and other scaring you will really bring Jason Todd to life. Can't wait to see the photo shoot. I know it will be awesome
Chris, have you thought about adding the voice modulator to this costume to see how that would sound/look. I think it would be pretty badass. Great job as always.
Huge fan been watching your videos for years. Was wondering if you were ever going to be selling fully assembled helmets. Really love your take on Redhood.
Genuinely brilliant! It would be cool if you put magnets in the top of the helmet so when you take the face plate off you just slide it up and locks in like a peak on the helmet; as long as it was relatively flush with the helmet. With that sleevless version i would definitely say it needs like a set of gauntlets (even your batfleck ones) and shoulder plates. Keep doing what you're doing, Genuinely Brilliant!
I know this would require some body work on the helmet, but you could cut out the mesh sections on the jaw and replace with a metal wire mesh and back it with some black screen. That would let air out and possibly mean less fog on the lenses.
It was recently force friday and a bunch of Star Wars black series figures came out, do u think you can do a huge dramatic display including some of the figures such as Rey Luke and kylo ren?
I think people don't realize that helmets are supposed to be big. It's perfect. tbh this is my favorite red hood helmet, like ever. Great Job Chris.
Yeah military ballistic helmets are thicker, it's just armor
Vanz Pictures BEST redhood
Vanz Pictures true, this is perfect for alive action movie. Just saying
i think the helmet looks good
@@christiankelly5130 specially when the sun doesn's shine upon it
Hands down the best cosplay I've ever seen!
I know right
Shiny! Drill some small holes in the grill to the side of the mouth.
Then back it with black sheer fabric. Then the lenses won't fog and you will get more air in the helmet.
Perfect idea, mate! Thank you :)
Cosplay Chris love the suit your amazing
I'd use a mesh material, even metal. It'll keep the metallic look and won't smell
AlphaProto looks AMA
Anti-fog wipes, they work on snowboard goggles..
Best. Red Hood. Cosplay. Ever. I can't wait to draw this. You have to post some really great full body photos.
If your having issues with fogging try an anti fog spray, they are usually sold for motorbike helmets but just spray on the inside of the lenses and it makes it difficult for the fog to build up, that's my experience at least. Toothpaste also works but it's a lengthier process to apply than the store bought sprays.
Nahtan O'lie I was going to comment that as well!
Nahtan O'lie wait... toothpaste?
Nahtan O'lie also… biker trick, either use bar soap or head and shoudlers shampoo and buff it like that… works every time, also he should have added vents (like in a bike helmet$) but its not baf
How he doesn't have a million subs yet is beyond me. Great effort put into these videos. Great prob making and cosplays. Truly a stellar TH-camr and human being. I'm never unsubbing. Love ya Chris!
It's even cooler because it's your own personal design. Love it.
Excited for the full reveal with the scar and all.
Eric Tolman Yeah, when it's all put together, the color of the helmet really stands out.
Red Hood is my favourite Batman character and you just made him look so cool. Definitely one of the best cosplays of Red Hood Iv seen. Congratulations dude. Bloody awesome.
Do Deathstroke next!
Xam271 ^^^
Dude! Red Hood is one of my favorite DC characters of all time! This cosplay is just, like, out of this world! Seriously! Just wow! An incredible cosplay! I cannot stress that enough! Effing amazing!
You should sell this costume design to Warner Bros for the DCEU
Christian Venson too bulky looking for a movie version
Usually, most helmets in the comics are wayyy undersized, so that's why the helmet looks big. The boys at Warner Bros could always correct it in post
John 117 so true
that's a great idea!!!
yeah they're usually skin tight like a mask, as if its as thin as a mask, easiest way to draw it. When in reality there's some material thickness.
Holy crap that is beautiful
That helmet is amazing and so mean looking! I just wanted to say thanks Chris because your road to red hood series has inspired me to keep working on my red hood cosplay. Can't wait to see the final photos!
I love watching all your "Red Hood Cosplay" videos, and I'm happy that after all this time you'r still commited to the project Cosplay Chris SHOUT OUT to you man
Usually a lot of cosplays look really messy up close , but Chris puts in so much detail into all of his that they always look amazing!
Arms are looking BOSS Chris! The hard work's paying off.
I'm in love with that helmet!! I have seen this video a ton of times already!!! Keep the good work Chris!!
Wow. I knew it would look great, but this completely blew me away. Awesome work!
Wow this is the best red hood cosplay I have seen by far. Congrats on an amazing build. Can't wait to see you next one.
This is absolutely amazing my favorite red hood cosplay of all time I just love the uniqueness and still familiarity of the suit
It's amazing! That's something I'd buy to display or literally just wear it in town. Perfect job!
What about a Punisher Cosplay
The Joker The Clown Prince Of Crime yessss
What about Capton Planet.😀
The Joker The Clown Prince Of Crime I agree too much with that
The Joker The Clown Prince Of Crime yes!!!!!
One of the best I've seen.. practical and well done. Awesome work!!
That is fucking sick, dude! So impressed with how everything thing turned out and the final ensemble is incredible. Another successful cosplay and it might be my favorite one yet. So cool.
Picking up on your videos again and wanted to do a red hood cosplay again. Thank you so much for these videos. You have me cooking up ideas now!
LOOKS fucking GREAT
100th like
Holy crap that helmet is badass. The paint jobs amazing and my god the detail.
God, I am gonna have to watch the entire series of videos, but that magnetic thing was genius.
Brilliant job! Saving up to buy your patterns. This thing is perfect for a fan film project.
This is by far my favourite cosplay of all time mate, very well done !! This is the kind of content I love seeing and the reason I subbed mate ! Keep up the awesome work
That is absolutely a sick costume! Congrats and thanks for this road!
Damn dude, that’s honestly the absolute best Red hood cosplay I’ve ever seen, it looks like actual Hollywood movie quality. They should put your suit in the Ben affleck Batman saga
This is the coolest shit ever man! For sure one of the best and most bad ass looking Red Hood cosplays/designs I've ever seen! 👍🏻👍🏻
It's one thousand times more beautiful than I could've ever imagined
Maybe you could have some holes along those cheek bone parts to let the hot air escape so the lenses don't fog?
Been following your videos since you started this project, so freaking cool.
Love it Chris and I love the blue lenses. Such an odd original choice yet it works so well
Hey, in addition to the extra venting some have suggested, I recommend getting anti fog spray for your lenses, you can find it in some eye glass cleaning kits, and I use it on my Spider-Man lenses, works great!
So cool! But what happened to the air vents? It would really help with the lenses not to fog up. Some very light mesh might work. I think that's what's on my motorcycle helmet.

bro this is the best red hood helmet I've seen so far congratulations
Wow dude this is your best costume yet, I really think that this costume is better than the one that DCEU will ever do, great work, keap the good job and continue to dream big
White lenses would make it look even better. Love the design, helmet, chest piece and everything! Great job dude!!
Damn, this is perfect. My favorite cosplay you've done yet!
So stoked that you're offering a kit for that helmet because I love the look of it and my red hood helmet (just made of foam) could use an upgrade
Super impressed with the helmet, it looks awesome, I might just order the templates so I can make my own. I like this design far better then some other red hood cosplays ive seen.
I'd love to see you make a steam punk kylo ren helmet. The helmet looks amazing the weathering looks awesome good job
I think this has got to be at least in the top three of the cosplays you've done well done dude
That is such a nice helmet! Looks incredible
Amazing! You are so much better than the costume designers for the CW DC tv shows!
I don't even like DC Comics but this is impressive. I can't wait to see your take on the Infinity Wars Captain America cosplay. Nice job on this, Chris!
I totally recommend looking at the new black series Poe Dameron helmet. It's totally adult sized and looks perfect for customizing.
Do nomad captain America from the teaser for infinity war!
There's a whole infinity war poster with captain America in it .......
PowellPower I think Chris already mentioned in a previous video that he is interested in doing the nomad cap cosplay
Nosrep Suomynona can you give me the link to the video pls ?
PowellPower agree?
Zyad Haddad it's one of the road to red hood videos, don't know which one but he only mentioned it in passing
The helmet looks incredible! Great work!
WOW! Chris this costume is kick ass, so much better then CW or DC could come up with :) I think they should come to you if they ever decide to make under the red hood.
Chris you should do some tiny holes all around the helmet so that you don't have a heatstroke and some in the front should help with the foging problem
Have you thought of trying to fit the batfleck voice modulator in the helmet? It would be a nice add-on if it works well, in my opinion :D
That looks sick! instead of using the full balaclava, what about sewing a tube scarf and glueing it around the helmet? it worked wonders for me.
goddamn this was satisfying to watch, congratulations mate, it turned out incredible!!
this one is by far my fav cos play good work chris
So worth the wait dude. Amazing work. Would love to see a DnD Deadpool cosplay. Deadpool with a brutal twist.

Easily the best cosplay you've done so far. Damn that looks awesome.

Amazing... Great job as usual Chris.
Magneto Redhood mashup. Love it. Hope to one day run into you and badge3d
The whole cosplay looks bloody amazing, the helmet is fantastic for 90% the other 10% is a little gripe-eye hole sizes and colors of the lenses, they would seem cooler other in different color( just my little nitpick)

Chris, have you thought about adding the voice modulator to this costume to see how that would sound/look. I think it would be pretty badass. Great job as always.
Anyone know the song at about 8 minutes in? Reminds me of Electro's theme in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Also, absolutely fantastic work, Chris.
would really love to see a foam tutorial for the helmet, or maybe info on where i can get one and how much it would cost
Chris did you hear about the Aussie kid from the last Pirates movie who will be playing Nightwing on the Titans show.
three questions, can you run jump or flip with it on? will you add a chin strap? where is that harness from? great work btw
Can you please for god sake tell me what kind of magnets you used!
Azael Morales neodymium magnets
I swear I recall hearing about a spray that is used in films that you can use on the inside/backside of lenses to minimise and delay fogging
Damn that is so cool! Good work Chris you are fantastic entertainment! Keep it up! 😆
You should try using shaving foam on the lens to stop the fogging up...I've never tried but I heard it works, it's worth a go
Huge fan been watching your videos for years. Was wondering if you were ever going to be selling fully assembled helmets. Really love your take on Redhood.
That helmet is a thing of fucking beauty. Can definitely see this design working perfectly in the dceu, if only man
Injustice 2 Red Hood DLC showcase looks really realistic.
I know like man even after two years looks better than most games
Genuinely brilliant!
It would be cool if you put magnets in the top of the helmet so when you take the face plate off you just slide it up and locks in like a peak on the helmet; as long as it was relatively flush with the helmet.
With that sleevless version i would definitely say it needs like a set of gauntlets (even your batfleck ones) and shoulder plates.

I know this would require some body work on the helmet, but you could cut out the mesh sections on the jaw and replace with a metal wire mesh and back it with some black screen. That would let air out and possibly mean less fog on the lenses.
Looks absolutely phenomenal man congrats on this fab cosplay😄👌🏻
You should totally make a few extra face-plates for this helmet and try cool variations on the design (like adding a gas mask hose, skull+teeth, etc.)
you can buy no fog glass cleaner for the lenses its a simple spray i use it to clean my glasses
Great work Chris the helmet and in fact the whole outfit looks amazing :)
Hey Chris, are you coming to OzComic Con? Would love to see red hood there
Nice one dude
he should do a moon knight cosplay
It was recently force friday and a bunch of Star Wars black series figures came out, do u think you can do a huge dramatic display including some of the figures such as Rey Luke and kylo ren?
Looks great! I think you should use the eye mask with the holster and then the full helmet with the jackey
best Red Hood helmet I have ever seen, plz mass produce this so we can buy it!!!!
Looks awesome man. Very impressed!
Also, I'd love to see your take on a Cable cosplay.
Noice! The best Red hood Ive seen yet. Im thinking about makin my boondocks red hood with that file with a little red camo mixed in.
This is sooooooo much better than the actual one Titans are going with! Think they need to consult you on costuming Chris
That looked sick!
Like that looks amazing.
Wow..im speechless, I don't think cosplay can go this far, but u did it.. keet up the gud work
