I like the way you got on the tractor and took it out of gear, the 1939 was the only year that had the starter button on the dash. I also have a 39 and when I bought it they forgot to tell that it would take off and run over you if you didn’t take it out of gear. Lucky for me it knocked me out of the way instead of squashing me!
This tractor isn't a 1939 and it isn't a 9N. It doesn't have a starter button on the dash either. You can see the original starter button right in front of the shifter that is obviously disabled because he started it using a key switch on the dash. This tractor is a Ford 2N between 1944 to 1947 judging by several of the features.
I rewatched the video this tractor has a starter button on the transmission just like you said, he does however seem to use a push button on the dash. Pretty sure that you are correct it’s not a 1939!
