Your AI program got it wrong ... "13:17 Tom Hopper manages histamine responses by moderating intake of avocados and using quercetin as needed"... Tom Hopper is literally learning about quercetin in this interview, he's not using it
Here are the key insights from Tom Hopper's discussion on his diet and fitness regimen: 1. **Nutrient-Dense Staples:** Hopper relies heavily on nutrient-dense foods like eggs, beef, chicken, lamb, and fish to build and maintain muscle while staying lean. These foods are rich in protein and healthy fats, which are crucial for muscle growth and overall health. 2. **Creatine Usage:** Hopper uses creatine strategically to enhance muscle mass, but he cycles off it periodically to avoid water retention, particularly before filming. He considers micro-dosing creatine as a way to reduce water retention. 3. **Whole Foods Focus:** Hopper avoids processed foods entirely, opting for whole, natural foods. This approach helps him maintain high energy levels, avoid inflammation, and support overall health. 4. **Avoidance of Wheat and Processed Sugars:** Hopper avoids bread, pasta, and processed sugars, as they cause bloating and do not support his body’s needs. He believes that removing processed sugars from his diet has been one of the most beneficial changes for his health. 5. **Cautious Use of Artificial Sweeteners:** While not entirely opposed to artificial sweeteners, Hopper uses them sparingly, preferring natural sweeteners like honey due to concerns about their impact on insulin response and overall health. 6. **Healthy Fats and Carbohydrates:** He includes healthy fats like avocado and carbohydrates from root vegetables and sweet potatoes in his diet to ensure adequate calorie intake for muscle building without compromising on nutrient quality. 7. **Family and Energy Levels:** A significant motivation for Hopper's diet and fitness regimen is maintaining high energy levels to be active and engaged with his family, particularly his children. He emphasizes the importance of being able to keep up with his kids and set a positive example for them. 8. **Long-Term Health Focus:** Hopper is mindful of how his current dietary choices will impact his long-term health, aiming to stay fit and active well into his later years.
3-- ""...opting for whole, natural foods."" How can those be EASILY identified?? Meaning, most people have no idea what this means EXACTLY.... bc most foods have some LEVEL OF processing, and no one will grow their own tomatoes and spices and fish etc... So let's say you go shopping for food, HOW or WHAT to look for as "whole, natural foods"?? Tomato PASTE is very little processed... Dry onions last a long time, bc "fresh" onions go bad... most people have OTHER THINGS to worry about in life the just food intake and searching for wild fish... so a more practical way to approach this idea of Whole narutal Foods would help most people. Because even THEN, people need to concentrate their attention on those good sources of protein, like fish beef eggs, chicken, etc...

What education? Being young, tan and obsessed about building muscle does not mean they are educated or healthy. Their terrible diets will catch up to them. They are cherry picking their research geared to muscle, not health.

I am a lean man at 70yo eat 5 x-large eggs (thanks to many scientists) and 1 small can of sardines (thanks to Dr Bozworth) + according to recent research - supplement of whey concentrate (not the isolate of which some good elements for the brain may have been removed). My daily protein is about 30-40 grams; for carbs I eat fruits, vegetable [that add some protein] and honey - no rice, no bread, no sugar to maintain a lean healthy body. Excess proteins will be converted to carbs and fats. I do single leg or arm REDUCED EXERTION HIT [REHIT] daily for about 9 minutes for 2 sets with dumbbells [1 set of many reps until near exhaustion/failure with dumbbells and body weight interspersed with 2-3 minutes rest; then 1 more set of many reps until exhaustion]. The rest of the 9 minutes is for warm-up and cool down. I do not need much protein, because I maintain lean muscle mass for longer life. More heavy weights will need much proteins that cannot be digested by older persons. REDUCED EXERTION HIT [REHIT] daily need less protein to metabolize. Older persons [more than 40 yo] need only enough protein to maintain lean muscles for longer lifestyle. Refer to Dr. Longo, Dr. Rosdale and Rimon. According to several other MDs, higher protein intake would require a person to lift heavier weights, which stresses the internal organs - heart, liver, kidneys, joints ETC - so bodybuilders do not live long. According to research, combined light weight and cardio exercise increases lifespan to 40+ years.
Same age I drink my 10 eggs with an avocado and my cod liver oil, taurine, zinc, magnesium creatine with my black coffee with 8oz whole milk in the early morning right before I hit heavy weight training. In the evening I eat 1lb. of ground beef and fruit through out the day to keep me satisfied until my evening meal. I am in US and my profile picture is a current one.
Right?! I am a 58 y/o 110lb female and eat 4 eggs minumum 1lb grassfed meat and sometimes more if I had a heavy workout day. 70/30 fat to protein most days when I actually track it. If I have less meat (maybe I forgot to take something out of the freezer) I would eat 8-10 eggs. In any case, I was surprised to hear this guy say 3 eggs were "a lot". The title is click bait, IMO. 😂
Avocado is not high in histamine. it is a histamine liberator. like bananas. If your histamine bucket is full it liberates too much histamine. Unripe or a little less ripe avocado also has less of a histamine effect.
For me Creatine blew me up to Puff Girl, and my Creatinine levels were too high. I had to stop. I believe what the science says. It just doesn't fit me. I take TMG and NMN and prioritize protein. You always have a great show.
if they dont have gluten or lactose problem, why they keep saying they do not feel ok with dairy or wheat? Not only in this video, but it is something mentioned regularly in his videos, people feel bloated or something. What did they have in their stomach?
So!!! I’m pretty annoyed. I love Thomas’ videos, his advice and and diligent research. So when he promotes a product, I’m likely to look into it or even try it. So I decided to try Create creatine gummies. I bought like 6 bags of Create. They do taste good and you Creatine does age is good. But Thomas- You claim that they are sweetened with allulose. And NO ADDED SUGAR! The first 2 ingredients are tapioca syrup and SUGAR. Allulose is number 5. To say that it is sweetened with allulose is super deceiving. A better description is that they are sweetened with sugar and have allulose added. For every 3 gummies you get 8g of carb and 3g of SUGAR! Kinda BS if you ask me. It doesn’t seem that he reads comments. But if you are on a low sugar/ no sugar diet, these creatine gummies are a no go.
Life's all about health, longevity and quality time with the family- amen. The PHD (proper human diet) is integral to a happy life. I'm a meatavore now. I used to be an eateverythingavore until I lost energy and wasn't feeling well. I began to learn how diet could impact my well being. I, first, was influenced by keto people then carnivore. Keto , you could say was my gateway drug😅.
8 eggs is a high dose? 4 poached eggs and 4 over easy eggs is part if my daily breakfast. Then its a pound of meat for lunch along with some fruits or a salad. That wraps up my daily food intake. No problem staying lean at 58 yoa. I'm 5'9" and 160 lbs with visible abs and always 100% natural. No drugs, no supplements. FYI, if you use high doses of supplements like creatine, quercetin or isolate aminos etc, you are not natural: 1) they are ultra processed, synthetic products 2) the recommended dosage is far above what you could get from quality food intake.
Kids grow up so fast I loved the young age of my daughter we were always doing things we were best buddies now she’s 28 enjoy them all you can take pics n videos ❤️
Throw some capers in the guacamole 🥑 I think I learned that on your show Thomas how high capers are in quercetin 😊😊 I learned so much today thank you guys have a great day !!
So if he doesn't consume artificial sweeteners, and Stevia isn't something he likes to consume on a daily basis, what is his Whey Protein Powder sweetened with?
Surprised at how much this guy actually knows about food and nutrition! Most actors just do the same, "Well, I ate every 3 hours until I felt like throwing up," spiel.
31:30 OK so we all know that seed oils are really bad. Yet, you do have cooperation (meaning more or less endorsement) with Dr. Israetel who is claiming on his side that seed oils are not bad at all (and that there is no literature proving it) and might even be the healthiest thing you could eat. What would you say about that?
I saw an ad once for Creatine mixed with a water flavor pack, not LMT but like it. But I only seen it once and can't find it again, anyone ever heard of it and have a link ? Thanks
Eggs seems to be the one constant you have in all of your videos. I honestly like that you do such a deep dive into research, but honestly sometimes it feels like you put out research videos just to put out a video. But two constants always seem to rise above: protein is important, and eggs are the best source for natural daily protein intake n
He should talk to Liam Hemsworth and read the book Toxic Superfoods by Sally K Norton. He is eating "loads of sweet potatoes and beet root". 😮. He is loading his organs, tissues and joints with oxalates.
Loved the approach I pretty much operate like he does with the ground beef, eggs, etc. loved the part at the end about the kids since I’m about to have my first! Thank you Thomas for this one .
Nutritional differences; White and brown sugar contain similar calories. Brown sugar contains 380 calories per 100 grams (g), while white sugar contains 385 calories per 100 g. Benefits of sugar Glucose and fructose bond to form table sugar, which has no added nutrients. However, brown sugar, which is a blend of white sugar and molasses, may have some trace minerals. Sugar contains around 50 calories per tablespoon, while honey has about 64 . Brown sugar contains more calcium than white sugar, with 83 milligrams (mg) per 100 g compared to 1 mg per 100 g of white sugar. Equally, other minerals, such as iron, are slightly higher in brown sugar. However, per teaspoon, the tiny differences in these mineral amounts are not worthy of consideration, as sugar is not a nutrient-dense food. People refer to foods such as these as “empty calories.” The Dietary Guidelines for AmericansTrusted Source advises people to limit added sugars to 10% of their daily calories to help avoid excess weight and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. This means that if a person consumes 2,000 calories a day, no more than 200 of them should come from added sugar, equating to about 12 teaspoons. www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/brown-sugar-vs-white-sugar#nutritional-differences ================= People... it is always a mistake to take your idol's word for things in general, trust but verify. The halo effect is strong with this one, it seems from the comments. People ignore he uses the word "I" for most statements, meaning he is describing what works for HIM... the interviewer seems smitten by this GOOD actor, and thus seems to also ignore this fact. Now, these things MIGHT work for most people also, witching their genetic limits... but please verify!! As in his talk about honey and sugar etc...
IMPORTANT Description What is Hidroferol? This medicine contains a form of vitamin D (calcifediol) which does not need to be converted by the liver. Hidroferol is used to treat vitamin D deficiency and the problems it causes. It is used when you need to start with high doses or when more time is needed between administrations. Who is Hidroferol intended for? This medicine is used in adults for the treatment of vitamin D deficiency, where high doses must be administered initially or where more time is needed between administrations. What does Hidroferol do? Vitamin D has important tasks in the human body. For example, it makes your body absorb more calcium, and it contributes to the normal health of your bones. th-cam.com/video/2hO7fniCbmw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=acQv2nF-elAaw0QO The most informative video that i ever watched
Love your content Tom but in this video you seem a bit tired. Hope all is well and that you’re getting good rest and peace as well. Keep pushing out the awesoem information but I hope you aren’t getting burnt out cause of it. With respect and love 🔥
Lmao homeboy states he doesn’t track his protein intake and then later on in the video he states that he takes protein powder to meet his protein intake for the day. Lmao these actors man.
You may want to go back to the 9:16 mark and listen to what he said, again! He never said his "daily" goal. And he said he doesn't take it year round. He only takes it when it's needed to keep on the extra muscle...which directly tracks with his previous statement in not tracking his daily protein intake, but only keeping an eye on his overall muscle retention or bulking results. Nothing he said was contradictory.
I absolutely love your content and your videos, but there are way too many ad breaks in this. Within the first 10mins, I had to sit through 4x1min ad breaks, totally interrupting the flow of what seemed to be a really great conversation. Unfortunately, I had to stop after this because it made the video unwatchable for me.
Unfortunately these actors/fitness models dont tell you all they are on. That's why you can eat all they say to eat and work out just as hard, if not harder, and get 1/4 the results. Has been evidenced over and over for movies. Actors dont have unique genetics that they only respond to building muscle better than everyone else. The "extra" will always be hidden because if the stigma, but people would respect them more.
If you think that guys on steroids..your not working out and dieting right. His muscles are very attainable naturally. Maybe he took a diarrhetic for some photos, but definitely not juiced.
I look at eating real food as an investment in health. I see people paying more for "junk food" (nutrient deficient processed foods) at the grocery store than I pay overall for my whole, nutrient dense food. I also know many people who eat that nutrient deficient food who take many expensive pharmaceuticals daily. I take zero prescriptions. So, I would rather eat well and be naturally healthy than eat poorly and pay the high price of being on the meds.
Man, that bit at the end about having energy to play with your kids into their adult years really hit home with me. I had children very late in life (42 when my youngest was born 😢), so I've really got my work cut out for me. Going carnivore soon. 🥩🍳🧈🧂

My son's band's music is in Umbrella Academy!! The Dead South. And I also eat about two dozen eggs a week. Have for over forty years
Yay eggs!
Eggs cooked in bacon grease is so good!
For me Creatine blew me up to Puff Girl, and my Creatinine levels were too high. I had to stop. I believe what the science says. It just doesn't fit me.
I take TMG and NMN and prioritize protein. You always have a great show.
WOW!! This is such new learning to me.
if they dont have gluten or lactose problem, why they keep saying they do not feel ok with dairy or wheat?
The magic trio is quercetin, bromeliad and potassium for any allergy

You should get raw whey concentrate
It’s damn Dickon Tarly from Game of Thrones. For sure a badass!!
what's the point of using a baseball cap indoors? if you think it makes you look young and cool, you're wrong, it makes you look older and ridiculous.
😂👌
Eu consumo 10 eggs day sem clara só gemas com manteiga
what are those wrist bands they are both wearing?
Looks like Thomas is wearing a whoop
@@LoveTanyaxo thx
He should talk to Liam Hemsworth and read the book Toxic Superfoods by Sally K Norton. He is eating "loads of sweet potatoes and beet root". 😮. He is loading his organs, tissues and joints with oxalates.
Loved the approach I pretty much operate like he does with the ground beef, eggs, etc. loved the part at the end about the kids since I’m about to have my first! Thank you Thomas for this one .

Nutritional differences;
White and brown sugar contain similar calories. Brown sugar contains 380 calories per 100 grams (g), while white sugar contains 385 calories per 100 g.
Benefits of sugar
Glucose and fructose bond to form table sugar, which has no added nutrients.
People refer to foods such as these as “empty calories.”
The Dietary Guidelines for AmericansTrusted Source advises people to limit added sugars to 10% of their daily calories to help avoid excess weight and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. This means that if a person consumes 2,000 calories a day, no more than 200 of them should come from added sugar, equating to about 12 teaspoons.

People... it is always a mistake to take your idol's word for things in general, trust but verify.

Only problem with eggs that i have is that they are full of pfas and pfos chemicals.
we need spin off or alternate ending!!!!

Nice conversation, cool dude
Creatine hcl less water retention
Billy Bones is one of my GOATs
@@josharmour1549he’s still tracking it if he’s trying to get to a certain goal.
They look like they are brothers lol

Dire Straits had a song about them!
very interresting discussion, thanks!
this dude was Bad Ass on Black Sails.
Does anyone wanna comment on the Liquid Death in the background? Thankz
It's DAO. Diamine Oxidase.
Tren bologna and duck egg sandwich is 🐐
DAO for histamine
It's DAO, Thomas.
Or TMG?
3 or 4 eggs? That’s alot? Lol! I eat at least half a dozen at a time, sometimes a dozen a day, and never egg whites by themselves

Fitness version of the parent trap. These guys are long lost twins!😂
They look like brothers
Unfortunately these actors/fitness models dont tell you all they are on. That's why you can eat all they say to eat and work out just as hard, if not harder, and get 1/4 the results. Has been evidenced over and over for movies. Actors dont have unique genetics that they only respond to building muscle better than everyone else. The "extra" will always be hidden because if the stigma, but people would respect them more.
😂 who gives a f… you sound like a whiner
This is certainly true for the buffest men in Hollywood but Tom Hopper isn’t that big. He looks all natural to me.
If you think that guys on steroids..your not working out and dieting right. His muscles are very attainable naturally. Maybe he took a diarrhetic for some photos, but definitely not juiced.
@@cmike5572 *you're*

6’5” lean giant doesn’t hurt his image or ability to add muscle quickly.
I just wish the price of eating eggs year round didn’t cost a college tuition
I pay $5 per dozen for local pasture eggs. So it would cost me approximately $520 per year.
Thomas hair and backwards cap lol
Billy Bonez!
Dickon tarly 🔥🐲💀
How dare he show his face after THAT season!
Man, that bit at the end about having energy to play with your kids into their adult years really hit home with me. I had children very late in life (42 when my youngest was born 😢), so I've really got my work cut out for me. Going carnivore soon. 🥩🍳🧈🧂
DAO is the histamine reliever
Omg he is so handsome ❤
ikr? wait... which one?
I thought he was gonna say at least a dozen eggs hahaha. I’ve had 18 eggs in one day before usually do around 8-12 eggs a day
Thomas just tell us what you eat every day, c’mon make it easy! From there we can have a better picture and add more food if we want to! 😂😅😂
