Who knows whether they were doing it, but it's always good to save a scrap of upholstery fabric, if you have a chance to take along with you as a color reference when picking out other items for the room. Au Pritemps was one of Frances first department stores. One of the early really large department stores in the world, on the level of Macy's or Bloomingdales. It's too late now, obviously, but you might have got those pots apart by knocking on the rim with a rubber/wooden mallet.

I would have taken the stuck pots too, I think someone had made diy ollas for watering raised beds. You bury the whole thing, fill it with water which slowly seeps out to the plants.
If you wash and press the scraps they’ll go on Etsy as well. Especially if cut into squares and sold in batches for slow stitching. Collections of braid and lace off cuts are sought by slow stitchers too. Also lace doilies and those French laundry labels to name but a few.

Actually, if you are a quilters scraps are good resources; also to make patterns/decoration on pillows.
it interesting when you go through things you have forgotten you had. My mother in Law was a seam mistress and she has a lot of old sewing patterns , The meal looked delicious Rols .Have a good weekend😘

I would have grabbed all the pots. They make great growtowers. You put a rod in the ground then stack the pots filled with soil. Saves room , great for herbs, beans, strawberries and such.
Hi Machelle, we regretted not getting the others, we wanted to split them apart but felt that they would probably break.
Fun finding old fabric, love the piece with the ships.

Oh, vintage patterns are very desirable now & don't toss, but donate or sell! Though given less than ideal storage conditions, the fabric may not be worth saving 😢. Though as a sewer & you never know when you might need it philosophy, I save scraps & projects in various stages of planning/started/haven't yet finished too! (Decades worth!).

Unfortunately there was no year on the receipt but the receipt was in Francs not Euros.
