Cyberpunk is probably my favorite game I’ve ever played.. I tried the Witcher 3 multiple times in the past n never really got too into it.. but I started a brand new play through with the next Gen update and wow, rhe game is just a work of art in every way, it just totally clicked with me this time around.. the quests r next level story telling.. and it’s quickly become one of my favorites of all time.. so cdpr has made 2 of my favorite games of the past decade
I agree their games can have some odd bug at times. But they're one of a kind. And filled with passion from the team. I recommend giving the Witcher 2 a try its still very good
been fortunate to marvel at this masterpiece years ago, currently enjoying another masterpiece in Red Dead Redemption 2 and i think will replay Witcher 3 again to experience the next-gen
Cyberpunk is one of my fav games ever. Tw3 is the best i ever played of all time. Dragon age origins is probably second then mass effect then cyberpunk.
In addition to the Over 9000 weight limit mod, I swear by the AutoLoot All in One mod and Friendly HUD. I find that even though CDPR included some features of both of these mods in the 4.0 version, it left out all of the best parts. I like the 3D icons showing up during Witcher sense mode, but the most important FHUD feature that CDPR left out was contextual fading out of the HUD elements. It's soo much better playing the bulk of the game without any HUD elements and only calling them up at a press of the Witcher sense button or when Geralt draws a sword. For the AutoLoot mod, they left out the option to radial loot at the press of a button, not to mention the granular filter of which items to auto loot. Saves literally hours of gametime for those of us who are compulsive loot collectors
This couldn't have been released at a better time. I have been waiting to use mods and waiting for you to put this out. Last night I finally started looking at mods again, so this is very helpful. Thank you and can't wait for more!
The "More Money For Traders" mod actually gives traders infinite money, because it resets to 5000 every time you leave and enter the shop. Also, the "Buy From Alchemy Menu" mod is included in the "Next Gen Script Fixes" mod, so if you have that (which I recommend) you don't need the mod :)
Great video! But to be honest, I feel like next gen doesn't need mods, infact most take away from the experience. However, I may install the "names from the path" mod.
New version does include some old mods and graphically it's updated enough where it doesn't need graphical mods at least. But I always like to push my gameplay as much as I can. Thanks for watching!
People were saying the same about old gen, that it does not need any mods, even the developers themselves prove them wrong by incorporating a bunch of them in the next Gen patch
@@antonissamp6654 But we are talking about 7 years distance betwen initial release, and this nextgen update. This is hure amount of time, another few steps in graphics, and GPU generations.
Thanks for doing an extra mod showcase. I'm still rocking the old DirectX 11 version because there's so many mods that are way better and also expansions
I actually like the vanilla animations way more than the E3ARP ones, except for the jumping. I'd argue immersive HUD is the most important mod for the game.
@@FrenchFryKayak It's not an overhaul of the game, but for light modding it is quite useful. Some featured mods in this video are already incorporated into it, i.e. Yrden mod, Better Merchants and more. Best would be to check Nexus - "Gameplay Manager - Next Gen (4.0) Version"
Amazing video and mod list. Right now I have SCAAR installed and I'm trying to get used to it, especially in combat mode when Geralt decides to turn his back on the enemy while dodging 😂 so I am very interested in this E3ARP mod, it looked so cool in the video. Totally getting that Yrden one though.
I'm playing the game for the first time. I really like it, the side quests and exploration is awesome. I wanted to experience with RT But is a mess. Even just playing with GI enable. There is a memory leak. Sometimes the fps I'm playing the game for the first time. I really like it, the side quests and exploration is awesome. I wanted to experience with RT But is a mess. Well, I bit the bullet and upgraded to a 13900K. Coupled with a 4090 it runs like water. My criticism for this is raytraced internal shadows leave a lot to be desired, meaning there are almost none even with RT settings maxed out......
Hi LKM love the contest so much, Please as you find any more mods make another video on them, Im in the middle of my playthrough haven't installed any mods but im gonna try these, Espeically the sign's one it looks awesome thanks a lot
Hey LKM, nice vid. I'm looking for better handling or better animations mod while riding Roach (because after playing red dead redemption 2, Witcher 3 horse handling is pain in the ass) but I couldn't find any of them. Do you know any compatible mod with the next gen upgrade?
Hmm, you have Better Roach Control mod, although I don't think its updated. Besides that I don't know any big Roach mod, never really searched for it too deep. There might not be any mod right now updated to next gen, could be wrong though
Great video, thank you for the update! Do you know of any visual/reshade mods that work with NG? I would really like to bring the color palette closer to the E3 version:)
Idk, personally I don't see transmog working in a game like this, mixing armor pieces would look goofy, and you do have dyes already. Although they could maybe do something with colors and patterns armor uses.
Unlimited durability is annoying af because it causes conflicts with like 80% of the mods on the Nexus and Script Merger conflict resolution is complicated af to learn. Maybe it's easy when you finally understand it but to get to that point is too much of a hassle for me as a casual and thus I assume it will be for most of the other casuals as well. Gear durability is annoying but it's not worth all the other mods that you'll have to skip if you're anything like me
The third option for installation is Witcher 3 Mod Manager on Nexus. I prefer it over Vortex because it was actually designed for modding Witcher 3 instead of being a Jack of all Trades like Vortex.

I've tried restarting my pc and all that basic stuff, but the problem remains. I don't know if this is actually caused by the mods cause it worked yesterday, but the timing is suspect. Anyone have any advice?
You can install reshade on about anything. Just download it, install and get a reshade pack. You can find those tutorials on yt by others since it's done in the same way
Could anyone please tell why my minimap doesn't disappear even though I have set it to disappear while exploring in the game settings. It happens when I use more than 1 mod. Any mod. I used script merger and I reinstalled the game twice, but still face the same problem. I'll appreciate any help :)
So it doesn't disappear even after a few seconds of waiting? See if you can disable something else in hud, mod is definitely not causing that unless you are using some mod that overrides it. Never happened to me so I don't know the exact solution to it.
