Dude please do more of these, this is the best witcher 3 mods video ive seen. Most of these i didnt even know existed. And with the redkit out now, we need more and more eyes on witcher 3
This is quite possibly the best Witcher 3 mod video that I've seen so far. Clear, straight to the point, and very informative, with timestamps + every name listed in the description. Great job, I'm glad TH-cam recommended me this gem.
Must-have mods are gonna be different for every player. For me, I first had to get rid of things that annoyed me, grossed me out, or broke immersion. 1) hygeinate more removes all the coughing, horking, and spitting sounds made by every single effing npc 2) chatterbox reduces the constant, repetitive, and overlapping chatter and noise from people (much less pam-param), which saved my sanity in crowded places 3) having mud, water, or blood spattering on the camera lens really broke immersion - there are mods that can selectively remove some or all of these camera VFX 4) the item levels and levelled economy makes no sense. You get a unique relic level sword, then an hour later the basic club from some random bandit is more effective and worth heaps more than your "sword of the gods". The NexGen update may have incorporated some changes to this, but using a mod from one of the original devs, called FCR3 takes care of this, along with selected modules from the lego mod 5) sorting mods will make your various inventory, books, quests, etc screens make sense. I mean just separating potions and decoctions and ordering each alphabetically was a huge qol improvement.
Good list and nicely presented. One of the most varied and balanced I've seen covering just about everything a player would consider modding. No list is going to be perfect of course and it's very subjective. I would also include Friendly HUD as pretty much a given as well as Blood and Steel plus the two major Reworks to Weapons and Armour for corrective balance to the higher end gear.
I’ve played through this game twice already, but I just got a brand new, relatively high-end PC and now I feel compelled to play it again, as it was meant to be experienced. Thanks for making this, these mods should go a long way in breathing some fresh air into the game. The weather mod alone is an absolute game changer. 😮
That's very interesting. I've used all mods except for just next-gen version ones. I played only for 1.31 and almost 100+ mods six months ago. This game is orgasmic like Skyrim when you completely modding it.
Awesome video. I've been playing and modding this game since 2017, I have 170+ installed at the moment, still found a few that I really want from your vid. Shame the custom player character mod is only next-gen as far as I know, it looks incredible.
Hey, I am so happy that I came across this great great video! I love TW3 escpecially with mods and downloaded about 200 mods some good some not so soo good. I check like every month whats new on nexus and I watched quite a lot of mod videos like this video, but this is by far the best one! At first I thought hmm maybe i will find one ore two nice mods but to my suprise I didn´t know about most of these mods and they are so so great. Thank you for making this video! I am excited for your next TW3 mod video and I am gonna watch the RDR2 mod list video
also I haven't try w3ee overhual mod yet but Eternal Hunt completely changed the combat for me. although I didn't use or rarely use some boss transformation items, but the combat system itself is enough and worth to try you can animation cancel almost every attacks as fast as it connects (it's from Advanced Combat System - the author is the same person) combat isn't boring anymore
Hey, I never heard about this overhaul, I just read the mod page and it seems interesting but overwhelming. Is there any major bugs or caveats that I should be aware of?
@@Fiorezy a few, like I can't loot immediately after killing enemies. just have to sprint around for a sec or sheath weapons to make it works, not a big deal tho. also I have disabled many options I don't like or wish not to enable at early game. like additional encounters, rage system (really make the game extremely difficult on early Death March playthrough). But when I get stronger I turned it on. I think the combat and the variety of weapons alone are really worth it. (for combat and weapon. 😃I combined EH with SCAAR and so far it's awesome plus EH let's u switch between added combat mods gonna add Blood And Steel🤗 another combat mod that I just saw on Nexus...I feel like I'm back to modding Skyrim again 😅
@@davidcrespo5977 that’s gonna be really great if it works! I also had a problem when I played EH, I couldn’t do diagonal dodge (as I remember I could do it on Vanilla right?)
I pick up this game again when i heard that you can crossplay with ur ps5 and steam account Installing mods on steam then exporting save in PS5 kinda fun. And save lots time specially leveling up and crafting. 😂 tnx CD project red😂
Most of my mods don’t work 😅 I did them manually too. As a side question. Does nexus fuck up your modding even if you tell it to stop managing and remove all the mods? Also if you haven’t, you should try Lossless Scaling
In most cases, I used "The Witcher 3 Mod Manager," but read mod descriptions because some of them require manual installation. But in general, installation comes down to simply dropping files into folders
wow i want to play witcher 3 again, i hope i can have your files, in a single download, im terrible in modding, it keeps messing my game. i love witcher 3
I just re-installed the game because it has been years since I played. I've got a few mods already but looking to expand for sure. Slight issue though, if anyone could possibly help. I'm running into some issues with lighting, like lights will flicker, rooms will suddenly look bright at a certain angle and then dark again when turning the camera slightly, whatever, basically just lighting issues. Is there any mods/ways to fix this? & Also any mod recommendations to help the game look better, run smoother, fixes, etc! And just any other suggestions in general would be amazing, thanks! (Gonna watch this video now, looks great, will see if I get any mods from here!)
My 1 wish for ps5 is for controller vibrations during combat so the combat feels more punchy. It feels like I'm swinging a sword at thin air instead of a monster or bandit. I would love to know why they didn't add vibration for combat.
All mods from the video are for the next-gen version. If some mods require additional mods, as for example seasons mod, you need to install all of them.
You can use the Witcher 3 mod manager; it can merge all mods that you need, but you have to make sure that mods are compatible with the game version that you use (Next-Gen, for example)
Actually, almost none of those are on Steam Workshop; all mods were downloaded from NexusMods. If you want to install some of these mods, you can find links to them in the video description
if i can somewhat run this game in my mid spec pc ... can someone clarify if this mods put more weight on the prexisting game, or they just replace things and thats all.. thank for your attention bless
If we are talking about mods from the video, then I wouldn't recommend installing them all together. Of course, you can easily install more than 100 mods; just read the mod descriptions and look at the compatibility of these mods that you're installing. And no, your PC won't explode.
i want a mod that changes the whole compat system of the game because i can't play the game with the stupid compat system it has i want the mod to change sword attacking. Dodge.
People that want to see more realistic women, cdpr made all women characters look like typical beauties. Sure, Yen and other sorceresses can look that way because Yen made her appearance by herself, but it's weird to see Ciri with that ton of makeup

you forgot about the brutal face mods, still one of the best face mods in the game

How did you solve the mod conflicts between Realistic Weather and Immersive Lighting?
trophy necromancy looks like fun
Been a console gamer my whole life. Now I need a PC.

Very helpful vid, thank you! But let me ask: Do you really use Immersive Lighting and Realistic Weather together?

Quick question: do you enable adaptive triggers in games? Was always wondering, do those triggers make sense, and do people actually use them?
Witcher Mods Weekly? is it possible now?
nope😄
cool stuff, are these mods work with W3EE redux?
You need to check mod descriptions
is there a way u can drop a mod folder with all the mods in it or manually downloaded them is a must?
You can google mod packs for Witcher 3, but there's no packs for mods from the video; you have to download them manually
maybe im late but do all these mods work for next gen? and do need to download all the requirement mods for the mods you recommend

name of the mod should appear faster and first before the description just like you did it with rdr2
