Why You Want To Use Dual Native ISO in Bright Environments: Canon R5 C Experiences

    In addition to explaining what Dual Native ISO is in this video, I want to offer another way of using it beyond just better low light performance. I have fallen in love with using it on my Canon R5 C but this is now a feature on a decent amount of cameras. Even if you are in a well lit environment, you may want to switch to your higher base ISO. In this I explain why.
    Also, did you know the Canon R5 C had better low light capability than the Sony FX3 or A7s up to a point? Check out this excellent test by Josh Sattin.

    Yes. This is spot on. More and more light/exposure gives you the option to have. Deeper DOF if you want it.

    Yes. I think you are really accurate FX3 second base iso is around 12800.and they call it dual sensitivity.
