I don't understand.. where is the deviation when a muslim wants to recheck and revalidate the books of hadith... To be honest I have some issues with the criteria followed to hadith classifications. Also I'm really surprised that Hadith testing based on the Qur'an is not a criteria within the filtration process? I'm looking into the science of the hadith and I still can't find this, maybe I didn't go deep enough?
I wish this session was a bit longer so you would explain where does the deviation lie in all of this? I hope one day you can open a special session to explain to us the science of Hadith in a nutshell :)

No you are right! The focus of traditional scholars on hadith authentication has been on isnad (transmission) and ilm al rijal (biographies of transmitters), matn (content) was, by and large, ignored. That is why we have hadiths in the sahih collections that contradict the Quran, contradict each other, contradict reason and show the Prophet in a negative light!

Some hadiths have no logical sense and explanation. I am a convert and find it very difficult. For example how unaware fart (at home) makes my wudu invalid. I don't have time to repeat my wudu every time. It often stops me from praying. Logically thinking my niyah is more important right? I WANT to pray.

It is duty of hadith scholar to always study and investigate the truth of hadith shahih whether there is contradiction in hadith to Quran. Do not doubt to remove if it is proven false. Ummah will follow. I think hadith as writing document is nessecary not only as source of fikh but also as controlled document to preserve sunnah from distortion either it is done purposedly or unpurposedly because of lack of memory by who teach students. Most of Islamic practice in daily basis were taught by example and oral or in other hand by sunnah.

    • @ahmedakhan1
      @ahmedakhan1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

We know that the Torah and the Bible were distorted and we know that Allah guaranteed only the authenticity of the Quran. Why do we assume that Hadiths have not been distorted, no matter what the scholars say? In any case scholars bear most of the responsibility for the distortions of the Torah and Bible. As Allah says, "Rabbis and monks determined what was lawful and what was not instead of God." (The Quran, 9:31). Why do we assume Muslims scholars to be different from the Jewish and Christian scholars?

I love Yasir Qadi. May Allah bless him and always keep him on haqq. There are times when I disagree with his views, but even when that happens, I still love and respect him immensely. On this specific issue, I disagree with him. If let's say you view Bukhari not as a perfect source of Sunnay preservation , this does not fit the definition of Bidah that Dr. Yasir Qadi layed layer out in previous lectures. If you say there are elements of Bukharis work that have not been properly preserved, and can articulate your reasonings, this doesn't make you part of another sect. Sahih Bukhari is not the Sunnah. No man is without error. Your reasonings behind the rejection of Bukhari determine whether you are a Kafir, An innovator, or someone having good intention and trying to establish what the Authentic Sunnah is. Most people who have problems with Sahih Bukhari reject specific hadiths, rather than the whole book. I am one such person. I don't reject Bukhari. Far from it. But the man was not perfect. And there are certain problematic hadith that, from the opinion I follow, dishonor the holy prophet. May Allah bless Yasir Qadi and keep him safe. Regardless of the differences, he remains one of my favorite teachers in Islam and someone I hope to meet personally one day.

Hmm, not sure if you'll get this message but even though Parwez is gone, misrepresenting his words is still very unscholarly and makes you appear unresearched and biased. There is no "group" that he led called Parwezi nor did he reject the Sunnah or say that there's no such thing as Sunnah. His claim was that any Sunnah that are against the pure Quranic message should be rejected.

    • @zaidmujtaba1062
      @zaidmujtaba1062 4 ปีที่แล้ว

His claim was that hadith and Sunnah are not sources of law in Islam, and instead only Quran should be used. Basically he denies that the Prophet (SAW) is a source of divine knowledge. He thinks Allah only gave the Quran as our source for knowledge.
So, even though people might say he didn't "reject" the Sunnah because he didn't say all hadith are false, he rejected the basic philosophy of Islam that the Sunnah is a source of legal knowledge.

    • @Raistlin7070

@@zaidmujtaba1062 The point of this is simply that Be Yaser laid out his own criteria of how he classifies these groups and he misclassified the Parwez position pretty significantly. If you note in the video, he says that those who deny Hadith because they do not feel it is preserved accurately fall into the still within Islam group. And Parwez laid it out quite clearly that his reason for not utilizing Hadith for divine guidance is that he does not believe it was preserved accurately

@@ammarahmed6432 You seem to suggest that there is not much difference between the Quran and hadith, but I suggest the following: 1. The Quran was compiled into its present form within a few years after the Prophet's death under the authority of Khalifa Uthman (the third of the rightly guided khalifa) and under the surpervision of Zayd bin Thabit, the Prophet's scribe. At that time most of the people, closest to the Prophet and very familiar with the Quran, such as Ayesha and Ali and others were still alive. The first sahih collection of hadiths were compiled by Imam Bukhari, some 200 years after the Prophet's death, when over 600,000 hadiths were in existence of which he rejected 99 percent as inauthentic. 2. Recent scientific evidence exists to show that fragments of the Quran from late 7th century CE, are similar to the current Quran. No such evidence exists for hadiths. 3. Allah has guaranteed the authenticity of the Quran. No such guarantee exists for hadiths. Finally the essence of the Islamic faith is belief in one God, that Muhammed is His messenger and that the Quran is the Word of God. No such belief is required for hadiths!

Even without hadith we can do Salah, do Hajj, and Give Zakah.
As it was non stop Daily activity it was continually preserved from time of our prophet from generation to generation.
Even if these things was not written in hadiths . it will not be lost in any generation.becoz it was follow up by all ummah one after other generations.

It is important to know a few basic things about hadith before claiming these hearsays to be the word of prophet and branding their rejection as biddah. The sunni scholars reject shiit hadith and viceversa. Bukhari himself rejected 99% of the hadith he collected and retained only 1%. Now the scholars misguide us by making us believe that these hadith are the undoubted words of the prophet. Here is what Allah tells us in unambiguous words:
[Quran 45:6] These are God's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe?
In response to the above verse our sunni ulema present six hadith books and the shiits ulema present 4 authentic hadith books. Haven´t they made a mockery of Islam ?
Hadith are mere hearsay. It is something like A heard from B who heard from C who heard from D....who heard from G who claimed that the prophet said / did so and so. In modern terminology this is called Chinese Whisper, which has no credibility in preserving information. Try circulating a paragraph of text through a chain of 10 narrators and verify for yourself.
A hadith shouldn't be confused with the statements or actions of the prophet. Those who claim hadith to be the words or actions of the prophet run high risk of attributing falsehood to the prophet no matter how nice they sound or appear.
Any hadith is actually an alleged saying attributed to the prophet and propagated through a chain of 7- 8 narrators over 200 years or more. What we have (for eg. in Bukhari
collection) are 7000+ hadith categorized by Bukhari (not by Allah or the prophet) as authentic from a total collection of 700,000 hadith circulating at his time.
The methodology that was used to authenticate hadith is called "Sound chain of narration". In this, the character, sincerity and mental health etc. of narrators in a particular chain was evaluated by hadith compilers several decades / centuries after the narrators had died. This act of character evaluation involved backbiting and slandering which is considered a sin in Islam according to the Quran. The organized slandering and backbiting was conducted at an unprecedented scale in human history. In Quran, Allah tells us that there were hypocrites among the sahaba and the prophet had no idea about them. Ironically, in one hadith prophet is alleged to have said that on the day of judgment some of his companions will be take away from him and Allah will inform about their bad deeds. It is interesting how hadith collectors could evaluate the characters of those narrators who were dead long back and even prophet himself was not aware of their character.
The most authentic collections of Bukhari and Muslim do not match 100% because of personal biases and judgment. These two major collections are rejected by the Shiits sect of Islam as unreliable. Thus is can be said that belief in a certain set of hadith automatically divides the Muslim ummah into at least two distinct sects: Sunni and Shiits. Such sectarian divide is strictly prohibited by Allah.
There is a consensus that there is not a single hadith in the entire collection which can be considered a verbatim quotation from the prophet.
Just like majority of Jewish, Christian, Hindu scholars can be wrong about the basic of religious beliefs it should not come as a surprise that the majority of Muslim scholars are also wrong. In fact, Quran criticizes those people who follow scholars, ulema blindly and take them as Gods.
One can find story tales, blasphemy of the highest order, contradictions, unscientic and illogical stus attributed to the prophet. In fact one can use hadith to project the prophet with diametrically extreme and opposite personality characterwise. Most of the abuse that the enemies of Islam hurl upon our prophet has some basis in these hadith collections.
Although, the clergymen and hadith followers claim that they let Quran superseded hadith, there are numerous occasions where the verse from the Quran are abrogated by hadith despite a command from Allah that none (including the prophets) can abrogate his verses.

      Dear Sister,
Use your own wisdom to understand Quran.
      Ask these questions:
      1. Do you become a better human being by beleiving in the hadith of the prophet considered authentic by the sunni sect or also by the shiit sect ? Let me know then I will show you blasphemies in your chosen books.
      2. Why can not you become a good human being by following Allah's word ? Do you doubt Allah when He says only He will guide you when you seek guidance.
      2. Have you read all the 35000 of the "authentic" hadith of the sunnis ? I just read Bukhari and Muslim and found highly blasphemous, contradictory, illogical and proven unscientific stuffs. If you have not read them then I wonder how you claim to be beliving in these hadith. Only an ignorant can believe in things he has not even read. Allah prohibits us from believing in things we have no sure knowledge of.
I accept only those saying of the prophets which are approved by Allah and therefore 100% authentic. These sayings / hadith of the prophets are in the Quran itself. Do you know that Bukhari never took any narrations from 600 of the narrators considered authentic by Muslim. And Muslim rejected 400 of the narrators of Sahih Bukhari. These hadith collectors had contradicting methodologies. It is insulting Allah to say that you use their flawed collections to explain Allah's word.
Quran 45:6 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what HADITH after Allah and His verses will they believe?
And here is an authentic hadith of the prophet narrated in the Qurna by Allah
Quran 25:30 ’And the Messenger will say: “O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur’an.”
Notice that the prophet is not going to complain about his ummah deserting Bukhari and Muslim hadith. The above two verses are in perfect agreement. I think you did not get the link that I posted here. If you send me an email then I can send you a document that I prepared for my own reflection on Quran. I can share it with you and we will see how you deal with the irrefutable arguments.

    Forbade writing Ahadith
    In Rashidun Khaliphate.

    We're not the disbelievers,
    And rather you're the ones
    Who're the disbelievers here,
    Denying Quran having sunnah
    Which just means other Hadiths
Are useless & abrogated by Quran,
And following sunnah of other books
    Makes them abandon Quranic sunnah,
Which means sunnis are Quran rejectors

As Quran itself is the best Hadith.

The problem with Hadiths and the Sunnah is that it is full of contradictions, even after Bukhari discarded 99% of Hadiths. In essence we are relying on his judgement as to what is correct and what is not and even what is left so full of inaccuracies.

You say the majority are correct in Islam and the minority are lost? What happened to the people of Lut? the majority didn’t listen and the minority wins!. We are in a situation where you are Goliath (sunni) and we are David (Quran only Muslim) and i wonder who will win? Is it Sunni’s with their fabricated stories about the prophet or Quran only Muslim’s with their Authentic Quran from Allah?
There’s nothing wrong in being a Quran only Muslim, we follow the book of Allah because it’s the only authentic book on this planet, all other books are problematic. How can you read Hadiths and trust them after so many people have rewritten Hadiths over time and changed the story? Hadiths have been added and changed and it’s a fact!, so many scholars are saying that yes there is problematic Hadiths and they need to be filtered out. Sorry but I’m not convinced into following Hadiths narrated by ordinary people saying things about the prophet that are not true. The only way I’ll believe you is if you find me one verse from the Quran that says we have to read Hadiths narrated by people/scholars? Because Quran comes first in everything you need to prove it from the Quran! And with out Quran there’s no Islam and that’s a fact.
    1. Quran is clear 12:1
    2. Quran is easy to understand 44:58
    3. No ambiguity 39:28
    4. No sects in Islam 6:159
    5. Sects = mushrikeen 30:31-32

So you follow the Messenger with Qurans message not the 250 years old handwritten quotes made up on behalf of the Prophet - where one even mentions on Behalf of the Prophet of saying 'do not write any Hadiths from me'. Hadith is A BIG PROBLEM IN ISLAM and its a Misrepresentation of the Religion - Anyone who Cannot understands what Salah means or what are forbidden and not allowed need to Learn Qurans Arabic Language and not go to Intrepretation on Hadith Literature.

You are all confused lol. When in confusion, consult Qur'an. Qur'an brings clarity, hadith brings ambiguity, sectarianism, hate within the umnah, the only hadith brought to the people was the Qur'an through the prophet. There are no grounds for hadiths to exist alongside the Qur'an. Those who believe it to be from the prophet are wrong and in serious error.
12:111 There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a DETAILED EXPLANATION OF ALL THINGS AND GUIDANCE AND MERCY FOR A PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE
16:89 And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for ALL THINGS and as GUIDANCE and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.
6:114 [Say], "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book EXPLAINED IN DETAIL?" And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.
12:1 Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the CLEAR BOOK
11:1 Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are PERFECTED and then presented in DETAIL from [one who is] Wise and Acquainted.
6:115 And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
In conclusion the Qur'an stands alone, why? Because Allah has told us such through the prophet, the only hadith is Qur'an, the only Sunnah is the Sunnah of Allah. The Prophet had no grounds to teach anything other than what was revealed to him and what was revealed to him is COMPLETELY, TRUTHFULLY, and CLEARLY in Qur'an. The Prophet was even warned not to teach anything outside of revelation.
69:43 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds
69:44 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings
      69:45 We would have seized him by the right hand;
69:46 Then We would have cut from him the aorta.
69:47 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him.
69:48 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous.
69:49 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers.
69:50 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers.
69:51 And indeed, it is the TRUTH OF CERTAINTY.
69:52 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
So when Hadithists claim the prophet received revelation that is outside of Qur'an, that is a massive contradiction of these verses because if we go back to the previous verses I have put up, Allah is telling us the Qur'an is COMPLETE, FULLY DETAILED and CLEAR. The prophet cannot bring anything other than what was revealed to him. If you disagree with these verses in order to claim the hadith is needed, then you are in error.
Here is the conundrum for Hadith followers, if you accept the Qur'an is fully detailed, complete and clear like Allah says it is, then there is ZERO validation for Hadith to exist as a source of Islamic law and guidance. If you don't accept these verses and what Allah has told you (Through the prophet) then you are calling Allah a liar and incompetent because he says the book is complete yet left things out. So to the hadith advocates, what is your position?
