Institutional racism is so deeply imbedded in US culture, I do not know how useful these true stories are. It's sad reality that these attitudes have never changed in my 64 years living in the US.

Restaurants routinely reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. So my comment to the guy who refused service is -- grow up and get over yourself.
