Phoibos consistently puts out good - looking, quality watches.
This watch has been on my list for a year. It is such a spec monster, not just Ti, but Ti hardened to ~1200 Vickers. WTF, pure awesome. A spec worthy of Sinn. The sandwich dials are so cool, almost a bit sci-fi looking, and yes, it would look awesome on a black silicone strap. If Phoibos ever does a four hand GMT with similar specs, they will have one of the best-sellers in the under $1000 bracket. I really need one of these. I love the chocolate-colored dial that you’re reviewing, but the white and mint green one speaks to me as a tough, fun summer watch.
Brands like Phoibos, Straten, and SWC are putting many of the so-called "established" brand to shame.

I went with the sky blue, and it's stunning. Apollo is actually another name for the god, Phoibos, which would maybe make more sense than the cartoonish spaceman slapped on the back, and the supposed "rocket" elements of the indices and hour hand. Use of titanium was also meant to tie in the space theme. Whatever the name though, it's a helluva watch. Intro pricing was $40 off, when I bought it. I love mine! It also has an ultra hard coating, btw. 👍
Phoibos is a very good brand. I have their Great Wall model and I really like it. Phoibos just keeps getting better and better. As for Asian brands, I would also recommend Boldr and Zelos.

@@LONGWALDO I don’t like the material at all in the watch world. I like it on a bike but that’s about it. Feels cheap in my hands and makes for a reall janky bezel action. I prefer the heft of SS on my wrist.

I don't think so. Zelos has it for $329 just now. Same movement and no creatures on a dial and cartoon heroes on the back. Better clasp too.

@@IRguyIR clasp isnt Ti on the Zelos though. So better base on micro adjust?. This was also $329 at first and the Zelos will go up.
I get PHOIBOS emails so I saw this early. Totally not digging this. The indices are hideous and cartoonist. I have their origins quartz diver - wearing it while watching this video and I still love it. But this one - yuk! Sticking with my moonie.
