    I leased a 2022 MDX in April of 2021 and absolutely love this SUV. It's buttery smooth and handles like my previous BMW. I have 6 more payments left and when the lease is up I am going to buy the MDX. Great on long drives, handles very well in the snow and the touch pad is easy to use.

    Unfortunately nowadays Not many car manufacturers kept classic(atmosphere) engines and classic(modified) gear boxes in stock,, so ladies and gents no complains and don't mind a fuel consumption, just enjoy driving acuras and cars like that. New era of electrical bs knocking the doors, wish another 100 years at least😊
    Thanks a lot for review, helped a lot!

    I own a 2017 MDX Tech package. It's really nice in every way but this 2023 advance package is on a whole new level. Super luxurious, super reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and drop dead gorgeous! What more could you ask for? Acuras tag line is the "Pursuit of perfection", They have arrived. The perfect SUV! "I am sexually aroused" ❤ lol

    I have a 22 MDX Advance.....I really LIKE it (I use LOVE for people). But the MPGs expressed is way Off! In the city (suburban local driving) I get maybe 13-13.5 MPGs. Highway at 65-70 on the Jersey Turnpike I.E. I'll get 23-24. However, it is a Very Nice Ride: Muscular Re-Design , Excellent Handling, Ride, Comfort, SH-AWD is top shelf [ one of if not the best system in it's Class] , and the other "amenities" [like the interior lighting, Remote Start [w/o any fees], plenty of room and comfortable seating, and a Great ELS Stereo system. It is interesting how all the reviews of this and other 3 Row SUVs concentrate on the third Row Room? I d like to know how many people actually use the 3rd Row on any regular basis? I never see anyone using them. For me as a 71 YO , retiree, I kinda Gifted Myself a new MDX as a bit of Overkill as my Retirement Gift in August 2021. The Cons are the TTIP InfoT. system. Whwn you use the wirelss AA or Car Play - that Touchpad becomes an awful SLOW moving Mouse pad - terrible & when you connect to AA or Car Play, it renders the center console USB useless to play Flash Drives (Music). You need to Disconnect AA in order to play your Flash Drives!! And no CD Player !! I miss the HD that was in my 2019 MDX and my 4 Previous Infinitis - a wonderful feature to Upload all your CDs and Flash drives onto the car's HD with 500 GB of space and just play your music to your Heart's Content! I've gotten used to TTIP but it should have been Both a Touch Pad and a Touch Screen. She is Solid on the Road, I will tell you. Delect SPORT Dynamic Ride, and then put into DS and hold on to your seat... That ride to see Grandkids in South Jersey is just Great. FWIW, Nit a Problem with my MDX in 19 months.

      I should add that Acura "bumped" the 23 MDX Advance by 5% in MSRP!! I paid $62K (leased). The 23 is up to $65+K (about 5% ) That's a Gouge by Acura.

    27 months with my 2022 MDX Platinum Elite ( Advance for USA ) not a single problem, gas mileage is slightly better than my previous Honda Ridgeline,
    Took me less than a couple of hours to get used to TTP, I actually like it better compared to touch screen,
    Planning to retire in about 6 months so it’s my retirement gift from myself, the plan is to pay it off while working and everything is going according to plan 😁
    My number 1 priority when buying a vehicle is reliability and what I need it for, this MDX checks out every box plus luxury and beauty,

    Two month owner of the 2023 MDX and I am quite happy. Of course, the gas mileage is crappy, but I knew that going in. Took a road trip and got up to 22 mpg with just the mrs and myself. City is about 15-16mpg. Great handling and love it clean lines...not busy with a lot of fussy details, but a nice blend between upscale and sporty look. I did add the lower side moldings to give it an additional detail as well as the Tailgate molding so it wouldn't be so bland, and it does make a difference...adding a more stately look. I haven't seen any other MDX in my area with those additions. So for now I feel special😂😂

      Congratulations on the purchase! I know you're having a blast. I was definitely thinking on having the tailgate molding and the running boards with chrome accent trim added when it comes time to get mind. Like yourself, I want minds to look a little different from others in the area. Questions. Did you (pre-order) yours from the factory to have those accessories added? Or did you purchase it at the dealership directly and have them to add it on afterwards? Also, do you notice much road noise in your highway driving? I have seen a few complaints on other forums pertaining to road noise from those Bridgestone tires.

      I like everything about this car but the fuel economy. 22 mpg on the hwy in 2023 is ridiculous

    • @s.patterson5698
      @s.patterson5698 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @robertduklus6555 As it turned out, the 22mpg was misleading. My other vehicle starts a new mpg average every time I start the car. However, the MDX continues the mpg averages from previous trips. So if you were driving in stop and go traffic inside the city for the last week and averaged 16mpg, that average actually drags down your highway mpg if you then go on a road trip. I didn't realize this until about two months after when we went on a 300-mile road trip. I reset the MPG gauge to start the trip, and as it turned out, I averaged 28mpg going and 27mpg returning. I couldn't believe my eyes. I even took a picture of the gage in case I was daydreaming about it. 😃 The best I hit was 29mpg. I am closing in on year now and would I buy it again....ABSOLUTELY! So rest assured...highway mpg is way better than 22mpg. Also, I have heard folks say they wouldn't get it because of the trackpad. I have found the trackpad ergonomically perfect for driving. My other vehicle is a touchscreen and frankly, it is more distracting using the touchscreen than the MDX touchpad. It just seems that when using the touchpad I still have a full vision of the road. When using the touchscreen my eyes tend to lock in on where I am trying to touch versus simply leaning back in the MDX and having the screen and the roadway in my visual field. For business purposes, Acura should have made it do both, but I can hones5say that if it had the dual feature that I would be using the touchpad 80% of the time. It just feels great to utilize while driving. Hope the above helps.

    Awesome review! I had the opportunity to test drive this model and also the Infinity QX60 Autograph. Both are great vehicles in my opinion. I would definitely say that this Acura is worth the $65,295, hopefully that price could be negotiated down of course. I was very surprised by the ride of the Acura, it really does feel and drives like a large sedan. Compared to the Infinity QX60 it rides well and more space in it than I was expecting, but I felt like it rode more like a truck or SUV. Not saying that it's a bad thing at all. Even though both are very close to the same price point, I had made up my mind that I was going to buy the Infiniti at first, until I test drove the MDX afterwards. I'm now sold on the Acura MDX!

    I bought my very first MDX Advance. I hated the push button gear selector. I still hate it. Didn’t want or need a vestigial third-row seat but appreciate the very large cargo space. To make this SUV perfect: Get rid of the aforementioned push button gear selector and give me a full size spare tire as standard equipment. P.S. Is it true the new RDX has no spare tire at all?!

      I just got mine yesterday. We considered the Lexus SUV, but this had the features we wanted. This is our 5th MDX: 2000, 2004, 2009, 2014, and now 2023. This *is* a big difference from the 2014. My wife drove it back from the dealer and kept reaching for the gear shift instead of the buttons.
      The manual is pretty bad, but this video helped a lot.

    Tom, can you talk about how well (or not so well) the lane centering/tracing function works? I have read other reviews saying that the system on this vehicle more or less bounces you back and forth between lane lines, more like some of the 1st generation lane centering systems. For that matter, does this vehicle claim to have lane tracing (vs. lane centering)? This isn't very important to me in the big picture, but it's something people should know if I'm correct.
    Also, how is the ride compared to something like a Telluride or Palisade, which apparently have a very plush couch on wheels ride? I'd prefer something a little less pillow-like, but also something that doesn't jar my teeth loose :-)

    • @r3tr0actiongamer24
      @r3tr0actiongamer24 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly, just turn off the lane centering. I have a 2022 MDX and lane centering in general on any vehicle is annoying. Just turn it off and you'll be glad you did and will enjoy the MDX's ride.
