- Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in todays video we are starting reactions on an extremely big (yet controversial) franchise Harry Potter!! Now when these were at their peak I wasn't really a big movie buff so I never actually had any interest in watching them all. That kinda works in our favour because that now means we can experience them together!! Enjoy!! xoxo

I had the same reaction when I got that result from the test multiple times, but I did cheat once tho to get Gryffindor and if that isn't peak Slytherin idk what is. I kinda like it now however, got myself a graduation ring (in silver ofc) of a snake that I absolutely adore and I haven't taken it off in years.
Point is: We all come around eventually, and all the houses are great! Still, being told you're a Slytherin to me is a compliment ♡

Hufflepuff(the house Susan bones is in)
Ravenclaw (cho Chang's house)
Slytherin(Malfoy's house)

Here's my answers to your questions, along with some extra comments! NO SPOILERS!
- Harry did have powers before getting a wand, and he did make the glass disappear. Wands are just tools that help wizards control their magic. So if a muggle was handed a wand, they wouldn’t be able to do anything with it.
- Your house is definitely either Hufflepuff or Slytherin, 100%
- In extremely simple terms, Gryffindor is the house of the brave. Hufflepuff is the house of loyalty/kindness, Ravenclaw is the house of intelligence, and Slytherin is the house of ambition. But again, that’s in simple terms. And a big thing to remember is not all Slytherins are bad!
- Hogwarts definitely needs their safety codes checked out
- Dumbledore was so foul to get the Slytherin’s hopes up, just to say like and announce that Gryffindor won LMAO
The movies definitely get darker and darker, and very interesting. They definitely grow up with the audience.

One thing they leave out from the books is that Snape has been abusing the points system to make Slytherin win for either the last 5 or 7 years, awarding Slytherins points for breathing basically and taking points for things like Hermione raising her hand in class (In the books). Slytherin wins due to his heavy bias and because the other teachers don't want to stoop down to his level to make things right.

Brad being surprised Harry sleeps under the stairs and thinking he had the scar from birth made me realize I’ve been assuming everyone knew the basics about HP! So funny and interesting to see Brad experience such a classic story for the first time

Also, I can tell you're already a Hermione stan, she's by far my favorite of the main trio. Fun fact, they each represent strengths from the other houses! Harry=Slytherin, Ron=Hufflepuff, Hermoine=Ravenclaw. But all true Gryffindors at heart. I can't wait to see what house you're in! Maybe after movie 3 would be a good time because there's quite an atmosphere change in the series after that.

to be fair the signs are there that it was Quirrell - the troll not actually being in the dungeon, i.e. leading the teachers down there so he could go try the trapdoor (but snape saw through that), it wasn’t snape that made the scar hurt it was the back of the turban bc quirrell was turned round talking to Snape. In the books it’s a little more clear as well they mentioned his time away etc - however 9 year old me was utterly stunned by the plot twist lol

My house was always Slytherin, even before I did the "official" sorting test - and yes, your friend is right, you're a hundred percent a Slytherin lmaooo your ambitious nature gives you away. They're also described as resourceful, cunning, and determined. The movies don't do a great job of portraying the Slytherin house but the books shed light that each house at Hogwarts has both its good and bad wizards.
You could always do a quick "seeing what house I'm from" intro for the next movie reaction for fun!

The series really changed alongside the characters/actors. So the themes really change and grow with each film, and get darker. I love them so much and can't wait to see your reaction to each one! I'm glad you decided to react to them. We can really admire the stories and characters, especially given how long they've been out, without agreeing with the author of the books. Growing up with them, they're a big part of alot of people's lives/childhoods. So being able to to separate the creation of something from the creator (their beliefs etc) is really important and meaningful given how this is something that's meant so much to so many people for so long. Before any negativity etc. Not to mention the actors and people involved really deserve the love and appreciation. ❤ Thanks so much for reacting! It means so much.

I never knew how much joy watching someone experience HP for the first time would bring me. I've been a fan since probably around 2000, reading the books, and this world/story is still fun to experience. The story gets darker and darker each movie. The production and acting gets better too haha. Please keep doing this series.

Yes please watch all the rest! It is really awesome watching your reactions to these movies, so far one of my favourite, if not the favourite reactions. Especially since you haven't seen them before, it's almost like we're watching them again for the first time.
I feel like one of the things this movie kind of misses from the books that really hammers home more of the tragedy of Lily and James Potters’ deaths is that they were like 20/21 when they died. In the movie their actors are in their 30s, so they look how old they would have been if they had lived. So in the books when Harry looks in the Mirror of Erised, he sees them at the age they died. It just makes it that bit extra heartbreaking that they died so young.
I'm always so happy to see someone experiencing this for the first time, it's such a beautiful ride (ignoring the terf lol)
Also I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard omg can't wait for the next ones

I saw a lot of people saying you should be in Slytherin but from watching your reaction to this and to Heartstopper I reckon you would fit in much better in Hufflepuff. You were always extremely loyal to the protagonists in that show and will shut down anyone who tried to put them down.
