For 3 people, the type of restaurant it is, if the food was good, I would say it was worth it. If the food was mediocre, than it is a ripoff and don't go back again. Not someplace you would eat at regularly is my guess.
it WAS good. 8-8.6, but given the buzz… long waits, name brand, full reservations, i was expecting something a little bit more… the price was high, but wasnt unreasonable, $60 a person for their lower priced offerings…. hmmm

Ok, Danny, the next time you get a $150 gift, head down to Barry's Steakhouse at Circa. Order the ribcap (not ribeye), the lobster bisque, mashed potatoes and for dessert a glass of lemoncello. That will be money well spent. If it's only good for the Cesars properties, go to one of their steakhouses and order the same thing. I hear Bugsy and Meyers at the Flamingo is pretty good. I plan to check them out the next time I hit Vegas.

I agree about the rib cap. It's the best cut, hands down.
@@easystreetwithjen All the steakhouses here in the SF bay area suck. You have to go to Vegas to get a decent steak.

Props to the restaurant for serving good looking, and apparently good tasting food. Most restaurants, especially chain celebrity chef types can't get that right. But the dishes looked old fashion.
"Hostages" looked like they wanted to stay and had fun as us viewers did. G R's looked like a food court without the signs but with table cloths and great wait staff. Enjoyed the theme "Kidnapped" and shots of food with your choice of music. I think sometimes you use your guitar recordings in videos.

I have to give props to Gordon Ramsey. The presentation was perfect despite the restaurant being very crowded. I think portion sizes are 20% too small but he's from England where everything is smaller. Great video though!!

Danny, that lady looks like she could be your sister. I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey and it is pricey, food presentation is always good.

The food looks good. But I would be more inclined to go to Ellis island and have that steak and eggs meal that you posted last week. Not saying I have not ate in higher end restaurants and had some very good meals. I still prefer simple food the restaurant looks very nice inside those chefs coats were interesting I liked the cloth napkins I wonder how many they have to replace because some diners have taken home as a souvenir. Thank you for the profile on this restaurant.

I read an article that says Gordon Ramsey is only required to visit his restaurants 1 day per year to take a few photos. Its really all about the name and branding now. Food looked good, but not sure for that price. I would be just as happy at Ellis Island, Freemont, or South Point.

Thats not actually 100% true. He owns too many resturants to visit them all every few weeks. That is why he has a large staff of people he depends on to run his resturants. These are not franchises with a name but no connection to the founder they are run by Ramseys team. Its why the standards are high & high standards cost money.

Anything chef "celebrity" is weird to me.
This is one of the few places in Las Vegas where the steak is better than the sizzle. Of course you are paying premium $$ for this experience. You should find time and save up for this indulgence once in your lifetime.

You should have cooked a can of beans over some fire wood for the Canadians. Then they would have had no reason to complain about the price, just the taste. But on the plus side they could have done that 150 times for the cost of that single meal. It would not have been as nice but if your focus is just on how much foods costs then your never going to enjoy a top class meal.
