Love the herb planter and it's great that you got the girls to help create it and maintain the plants. I have great memories of projects my daughter and I did when she was little.

All three are magnificent and thanks for telling me about Duck Egg - I LOVE that color. It is really pretty and it goes with my gray and pink decor. My favorite would have to be the flower holder. I too love how nice the Walmart flowers are for $3.00. Can beat it and they are so big and pretty. TFS. Donna

Hey there, it's Deb here. My favorite was the planter box. But one thing I would have done different was is something that I have done in the past when I have to whitewash something that has two different colors and paint or staying underneath. And that's shoe polish that I get from the Dollar Tree. It comes in so many different colors and you can wipe it right off. I would have also lightly sanded and legs, that way the gloss of the legs doesn't show through. My other favorite one was the brochure stand that you did with the Tulips and the candle holder you did that was on your dresser. Those turned out really pretty all of them did I was doing a knowing all the way through it but those few really caught my eye. Thank you for the lessons that you have taught me. There is so many things of country decor that I absolutely love but when you go shopping for them they are so expensive. I am a crafter and a thrifter. Together I can make some really amazing things. Especially when you shop at the Dollar Tree. Nobody knows that the glass vase that you might buy, came from the Dollar Tree. Or a nice set of silverware. They've got some really pretty patterns on their dishes that would be so easy to change out with the seasons. I remember years ago shopping at the Pottery Barn and finding the same kind of prices as the Dollar Tree on a lot of their things. Especially glass or ceramic which were very easy to make. I love them all but I do favor the planter box. My grandma always planted her own dill for pickles. Ohhh, how i miss that smell. I looked a few years ago for it but maybe it's only available in the spring. I think it comes up every year doesn't it? I remember it in the exact same spot every year and do not remember seeing her plant it. It's amazing how some smells can take you back in time!! Just thinking of it I can picture so much from then. Thank you for the memory along with this!!!!!
