Damn man, those colors. They make me want to lay down right there in the meadow and just stare into the sky all day long.
I would totally lay right next to you.
These colors used to exist on cars in the 1900s-1950s.
loving these shorts! can’t wait to see this one finished. Thank you for sharing with us and teaching your techniques!
Glad you like them! thank you
I’m a college art student and about to start a large painting of a colorful sunset. This is exactly what I need. Love your stuff man, definitely subscribing for more. Keep it up!!
Nice. I usually start by mixing some walnut oil medium with my paint and dry brushing thin layers to blend with a huge filbert, but I am also working solvent free. I like your method.
Nail technicians use almost the same technique, it was cool to see it on a different scale.
you’re work is truly amazing!! i’m wondering what the purpose for the orange toned base before you begins using other colors is?
What does it mean if paint is not blending and I'm ending up with dry /dead spots. Tried using more liquid white and then when I go to blend the oil content is high so the colors literally melt off and no blending is even possible . I have a feeling it's the liquid white I am trying to use. It's old liquid white that I tried to bring back to life by adding medium and olive oil which at the time I thought could be replaced with linseed oil. Is the liquid white causing these issues
When you say that you use thinner, what exactly do you use to thin the paint? I’m not sure if you are using acrylic or oil and if you’re using oil I keep hearing fat over lean so hence my question.
I can't get my head around the lean on fat thing. I know lean needs to be above fat but how would you know the measurements of paint and thinner in each prior layer in order to make the next leaner?
Artist to: if using acrylic, you can add retarder to you paint to keep it wet. 💯
Acrylic is crying, because it can't do that.
where do I find those blender fan brushes?
Ur so underrated! ✨
Sick bro!! 😎
Do you use dry brush to blend those colours?
wait ur supposed to thin them? 😅
