This EBT and bank card thieving with skimmers has gotten out of control! I read about skimmers on the card slot at gas pumps even. But there are ways to double-check before you put your card into a machine. Just do a search and you can find information about how to spot it. It's a sad world, they said going digital would make us all safer but it's made us all MUCH more vulnerable!
This is store clerks and managers failing to check the machines. If no one is checking every couple of hours, no wonder there is so much theft happening. 🤦♂️ why are people being punished if companies are not putting effort to preventing this?

I am a EBT caseworker, and I’m shocked at the comments! In order to get EBT in Nevada you have to work. Undocumented immigrants cannot get EBT unless they have a child that was born in this country.
I likely qualify for permanent disability according to my doctor but the stigma it brings from these commenters is sad. They seem to have more respect for the debit thief than a veteran.

These comments are interesting Sometimes ppl have no choice. I for one, got medical and food stamps due to becoming disabled. My job discriminated against me and eliminated my position. I am waiting for SSI to hopefully approve me. I went from 93k a year to zero income. Some of these comments are jaded and biased! People receiving welfare are doing nothing wrong. They are victims. Best believe the same can happen to your credit cards or bank accounts. These crimes are preying on people who need the most help in our communities. It is not always as simple as getting a job. Some of you are victim blaming......SMDH HOW CAN YOU LOOK DOWN ON PEOPLE who qualified for assistance? You should be outraged that people are stealing from those in need. Guess what, there are people who work that also get benefits due to earnings such as low income. Count your blessings that you don't have to ask for help? I never thought Id be disabled due to receiving the COVID shot. I have been job searching since April 2023. I have a master's degree and years of experience and received over 16 recognitions. I think if stores have skimmers they should be fined and held accountable.
