Single parents should always get enough assistance , not too much , just enough for food , enough for housing , so we could save more money and not live pay check to pay check , unless we're rich .

I've worked the "affordable housing" industry for 8 years and can tell you that 80% of the people receiving welfare benefits are on drugs, smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol but can't apparently afford there $25 dollar a month rent apparently. Most of them are working age to boot!
So do the social worker. See without people on welfare. Social worker wouldn't get block grants from the federal government. It's in their Intrest to keep people on welfare.

I can't tell you of the times that I have been in the grocery store I have been approached many many times people wanted to sell food stamps but when I got through talking to this person they pretty much ran out of the store and didn't look back as heartbreaking that people can still from the government and get away with it it's not right and I could have used that food but I was illegal and I was not going to do it
