I own this 5th wheel, it’s a 41’9” RV so you were right about the length being longer than 36”. That model is a Brinkley Z3610, the model number is probably what made you think it was 36’ long.
Awesome another video from c farmer. You and mr Tennessee are the reason i got into rv hauling and now ultimately doing hot shot. so thank you for still putting out videos when you can. Oh and I also stop at that Petro alot when I'm on my way home to Georgia.
@Cfarmer Hey it’s Jesse I have the same almost identical truck as you ! Only 59000 miles. Trucks been sitting for over a month because I have a gasser I use for roofing and repairs. I started it up yesterday and got a service engine light. P02D and P02E I remember you had some issues with the injector pigtails. Quick google indicates maybe the pigtails. Do you have any idea or suggestion on where I should start ?? Thanks brother I appreciate any feedback
I pulled a Brinkley on my final trip before getting out and it was the sweetest pulling camper of them all. Stay safe out there C Farmer and keep the videos coming
I put summo springs on my 19 3500 srw and I like them better than air bags I have had on previous trucks. Never have to add air or do anything. Also put them on my daughter’s half ton.
My airlift controller does the same thing. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t pretty annoying. I just have it connected to my phone now and haven’t had an issue since.
Just got my 2017 l5p and stumbled across this channel, love the content , please do some maintenance videos every now and then , thank you, love the content ! Be safe out there 👍👍👍
Great video! I don’t mind the snow but I don’t like the frigid temps. Ryan Hall Y’all says we’re going to get a big daddy snowstorm towards the end of February and that should be it for this winter 😅. Those cleats have saved Wayne’s butt many times 😉😁
I heard it was really bad. Had friends telling me to go a different way but i talked to a guy that lives there and got info from him before i came through
Great video of the snow in Nashville and the rest of the trip to FL. The snow in WV wasn't nearly as bad but still ruff pulling my 35' TT ... Hooking up in Ohio at 4 degrees was miserable so I can relate when you needed to get into your truck several times for warmth . PS got my Autel while in Virginia . Thanks for all the hands on advise !
So you sleep in the truck on a nightly basis when you're on the road? Do you sleep in the back? Do you always leave the truck run all night long when it's cold out? How does that work out on an emmision entact engine ? I've always wanted to do the hotshot thing
@CFarmer doing good here!! Just getting off of my 7 days off..tonight is my Monday night for 4 nights..gotta make that fuel to keep America 🇺🇸 going!! That's a nice change of scenery!! Keep it between the lines and look forward to videos!!
I made it 501k on stock engine with only injector pigtails and a turbo actuator then lost oil pressure. Bought used engine with 108k miles. I've put 45k miles on since replacing engine.
I dropped a load of cargo trailers in Watertown NY when that storm started. I also picked up a load from the same plant going to Davis CA. I decided to drop down to 40 via Ohio. KY and then TN. Tennessee was just as bad if not worse. lol. It was a long trip but we made it. Keep those videos coming!!
Glad you used the gift cards, hopefully the steaks you picked were to your standards. Next time you go down to Fort Myers, let me know. Maybe we can convoy? I used to live in Naples about 45 minutes south of Fort Myers and still keep in touch with a few people there. A buddy of mine and his wife own Cool Beans Cruises. Great time on a catamaran in the Gulf.
Hey bud, thank you! Was good. I'm headed back down to Fort Myers today. I'm ga about 100 miles from Florida line. I'll have to check out cool beans cruises. I've never been out on the ocean but it's something I've always wanted to do. Safe travels sir. Talk soon
You need to treat your actual tank as well as any other tank and you need to make sure everything’s been running because your fuel lines are your weakest point if they’re not in your actual take to get to your engine it does not matter if it’s running your engine running does not hit your tank or your lines. Anyway, wish you the best out there.
I bumper pull 8,700 lbs on a Ram 2500 gaser, 2015. Buying a 40' GN race car trailer and will have it loaded up to about 10k. Will be towing weekly on the east coast. Should I upgrade to a Dually for stability or will a SRW 1 ton with air bags provide the stability I need?
545k now. The original engine was awesome until 501k then lost oil pressure (still ran perfect with low oil pressure) i put a used engine in with 108k on it.
Is your truck a 2500? I’ve been told that our 2500’s can’t pull those 5th wheels? If you didn’t have those air bags do you see any issues pulling a 5th wheel of that size?
It's a 2500.I've pulled a lot of tri axles empty weighing 16k with mine. The air bags definitely help but i would pull the one in this video without them if i needed to. It pulled really good
@@CFarmer that's great to know, as I've thought about getting a 5th wheel like that Brinkley but was cautioned by many due to our 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Duramax.
They you are stranger. Was wondering when you’re gonna throw out a video. Although I can’t be talking, it’s been six weeks since I took a load. Trying to avoid that snow and ice. Hope you went and got you another one.
When I talked to you on 1/20 I was in Middlebury and it was 5 degrees and there were 8 inches of snow on the ground. Us texas boys don't like that at all.
Great video. Crappy roads are a regular deal here in Canada. The salt destroys your truck quickly. No matter how clean you keep it. The rust belt sucks guys. Chris I’m amazed at how nice your truck looks. With all them miles, bad weather and winter salt being unavoidable, it looks great!

@@CFarmer I definitely will sir.

I agree, you too
I’m from MN. I was in Nashville when it snowed. Cars crashing everywhere. It was scary. People are nuts
Yea, it gets crazy down here when it snows
Where did you get your window hang sighn for dot numbers looks nicer then magnet stuck to the truck scratching the paint
Love your videos
Thank you
We left January 10th from Pennsylvania. We got lucky, clear and dry all the way to Tampa our first stop in Florida.
Good deal!
I put summo springs on my 19 3500 srw and I like them better than air bags I have had on previous trucks. Never have to add air or do anything. Also put them on my daughter’s half ton.
That's awesome. I've seen them but not heard any feed back. Thank you
Have you ever ran Nitto tires before if so what are your thoughts
I have never ran nitto tires.I do have friends that like them
@@CFarmer thanks if you ever run them in the future let us know how they are 👍
I sure will
Heck, driving in cold weather is a whole new ball game! Excellent video. Stay safe out there! ❤
Thank you!
Great way to wake up back in the snow and ice and salt. I’m glad those days hopefully are over for for the winter.
Yes sir, hope so!
My airlift controller does the same thing. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t pretty annoying. I just have it connected to my phone now and haven’t had an issue since.
Yea, can be aggrivating but mine works good on phone too

Thanks for the video! That was some brutally cold weather! O_o
Always love your trip videos. Again, thanks! :)
Thank you!
Good video bud. Glad you made it ok. Man it was a mess for about a week.
Thank ya, yes sir it was
Was stuck up near Monteagle for 4 days after that storm

Went to Petro yesterday for some pancakes, didnt see you was gunna buy you breakfast. Diesel is $2.97 over there. Hope you are doing good sir!!
Hope you're doing good too. I've been running Florida a lot lately

You far from Sparta TN?
I couldn’t believe the mileage on your truck. Has that engine been rebuilt? I guess that’s a testament to how well GM diesels hold up
I made it 501k on stock engine with only injector pigtails and a turbo actuator then lost oil pressure. Bought used engine with 108k miles. I've put 45k miles on since replacing engine.
You still running on the same DPF filter? Impressive over 500k miles!
So far same dpf, replaced position 1 & 2 nox sensors twice and def injector once. That's all I've done with emissions part
I dropped a load of cargo trailers in Watertown NY when that storm started. I also picked up a load from the same plant going to Davis CA. I decided to drop down to 40 via Ohio. KY and then TN. Those Brinkleys are sure nice and quality built, but they ARE expensive!
They seem to be but Id be scared to ask the price
@CFarmer MSRP north of 110k. Nothing compared to those toy haulers y'all used to pull
Have you considered running a full synthetic on this motor or sticking with the t4?
I thought about it but i still had enough t4 to do 3 more oil changes so I'm sticking with that for now

I am delighted that you are back on the road and that your truck is trouble free. Do you plan to rebuild the engine that came out of your truck?
What does it pay to haul a camper from Indiana to Fort Meyer’s?!
$1.50 on this one. Cheaper than i like
Check your mic volume please
Thank you, i will

I think srw should be ok. I've hauled 10k on the bumper of this one and it does good in my opinion
How's that new engine treating you?
Good so far. I've got a little over 45k on it and it's plugging along

The low clearance of the leveling jacks ever a problem?
