  • What Medical School is REALLY Like. I'm giving you all the tea in this week's video about what the first year of medical school has been like for me. The ups, the downs, and everything in between. I promise though that contrary to what you might think, by the end of the video I think you will realize that med school doesn't have to be as bad and miserable as everyone has it cracked up to be! Hope you enjoy, don't forget to subscribe ✨

Wow, this video is so honest and awesome! I think that I've had every single one of these questions at one point. I'm applying to a couple schools and one of them definitely has the 8am-5pm (8-3 w/o anatomy lab) mandatory lecture schedule - and I'm really worried about having time to study after classes are finished. I mean, will it be like 8am-5pm and then 5pm -10pm studying? But, I really appreciate your videos! It makes me think that I can (maybe) still have a life in med school lol!

Ooh yeah, that sounds so rough. We only have two 8 hour days and I absolutely despise them! Definitely would not recommend 😅

I am planning on going to medical school in the future. Do you recommend using anki cards but also writing down notes? I was just wondering because Anki helps, but I am better at learning using my notes and writing stuff down. Do schools let you use your notes during quizzes?

I’m much more a fan of Anki now. It’s great for retention. 😊
