13 MUST HAVE Essentials for Medical School | what I use ALL the time as a first year medical student

- Hey guys! This video is all about must have essentials for medical school! If you recently got accepted are are wondering how to prepare for medical school... first off, congrats! What an exciting time! And second, this video shares ALL the things that I'm super obsessed with and use ALL the time as a first year medical student. I would say number 4 on the list is the MOST surprising thing that I didn't really realize I would need so often in med school. And overall, there honestly isn't all that much you need to go out and buy before medical school starts. I would suggest getting a few things you know you need, but then wait until after at least orientation week so you can see what your school provides and what else you may still need. For first aid, I will say that I added A LOT to my first aid when I studied for boards that was not in the original book from uworld so beware using first aid as an absolute reference for what is NOT important if it isn't in there

Love it! Many of those items, I use as a pre-med. Like, iPad, Keurig, and large whiteboard. Any recommendations for headphones? Also, we have the same glasses lol :) "Professors require books, but I don't buy them, I don't want to read" Haha

How do you know what scrubs to buy for med school? Do they tell you? Im just curious
Hi Maggie! Do you find it cumbersome to have an HP laptop and use the ipad to take notes (vs a macbook)? I am an HP user but am wondering if I should venture into the macbook realm since I plan to take notes on my ipad.
Every once in a while it’s annoying that they don’t connect but I love the touchscreen feature to much to convert to an Apple laptop!
are the affiliated links mostly amazon? that is good to know that you will get some extra coffee money (if you decide to splurge at a coffee shop like you said! LOL) -- and is an iMac a computer that can be synched up to your tablet / laptop? (PC user LOL)
yes! haha most of them are Amazon. As far as the iMac syncing up with non Apple devices... I'm not sure if it does that. I just know it syncs up with Apple products well!
